Family-friendly holiday rentals in Adamstown

This is an amazing property overlooking one of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. The view is breathtaking and instantly relaxing. Glenyss was a fantastic host and was responsive and friendly in all communication. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Nathan’s place for the weekend and could not fault it! We have a little baby and the apartment had everything we needed! Great location! Right in the centre Main Street of the Entrance. We had a beautiful holiday and definitely will be back.

An incredibly quaint cottage, such a perfect romantic getaway

Had a most lovely time in the cabin. There are a few cabins in the location, all with enough space and spacing to let you feel like you are away from it all. The hot tub was lovely, being able to be accessed directly out the front of the cabin. There was plenty of glassware and other things so that if you wanted to you could use it. We brought our own, but you wouldn't need to. It's a great location, close to the beach and a short 10 to 15 minute drive to other nearby locations with lots of restaurant and food options.

We had a lovely four-night stay at the cabin. It was a cosy, well-equipped space with a beautiful view—sunrises and sunsets were stunning. The hot tub was a highlight, and the thoughtful touches like champagne, chocolates, and a well-stocked kitchenette made it feel special. The cabin had plenty of ways to stay warm, and while the bathroom was compact, it had everything we needed, including handy essentials. One thing to note is that the cabin is quite close to Vicky and Roger’s home, which isn’t clear from the photos, so privacy was a little limited—we didn’t always feel comfortable using the hot tub. There were also a few dead bugs on the ceiling, but overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it

We loved our stay! Perfect location for a weekend of wineries and lots of space for babies and dogs to explore. We would love to come back and stay again :)

Wonderful place to stay and met all our needs. Craig’s house is in the perfect spot for the beach and the other activities we were there for. Craig was so easy to deal with and was so responsive and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a spot in The Entrance

It was a beautiful spacious place for a group of good friends to tour the Hunter region. It was central to most places making it easy to drive everywhere. Dan and Ariane were friendly and accommodating with our needs. A great place to relax!

Beautiful property. Loved the nest! Lots of lovely walks and different places to unwind on the property itself. Waking up to all the birdsong was glorious. We had a really lovely relaxing stay - thank you very much Christine.

Joe's place was exactly as described - tranquile farm stay with all kinds of wildlife visits! It even had everything for breakfast - bread, eggs, cereals, coffee and fruits! even an avocado!!! we also needed some extra milk and he was able to help with that! thank you Joe - we'll come again!

Thanks to Donna for a great short stay. Donna was great at communicating and was very responsive. Our stay was easy and was great for us as a family with a pet.

Roger and Robyn came to welcome us and were nice enough to provide some basic ingredients for our first breakfast! We felt at home right away and the location was perfect. There were a few spiders and a cockroach during our stay, but it is to be expected in Australia! We loved the place overall ☺️

Absolutely loved my stay at Chris’a place. From the moment I arrived felt right at home. Loved all the inclusions jams breads coffees milk ect. It’s perfect spot to the beach and shops all walking distance. My dogs loved the dog friendly beach. I loved the privacy of Chris’ place the dogs had a little front area and I could sit there with a cuppa in the sunlight whilst they played. Thank you Chris !!!

The house was very clean and fresh, super cozy and homely. Corinne went above and beyond to accommodate us, even down to leaving us groceries that suited our family to make breakfast and snacks. She also gave us a run down of the area and things to do and see. We will definitely aim to stay here next time we’re visiting.

This is the second time we’ve visited Paul’s place and hopefully they’ll be another. It’s a quintessential Australian coast house, full of character and warmth. The beach is across the road and you fall asleep with the sound of the ocean. Heaven! Great back yard, everything you need and Paul is a 10 out of 10 host!

Terry’s place was perfect for our Hunter getaway, and Graham went above and beyond as host. Great location for getting around wineries and restaurants, and 3-minute walk to the brewery and pub down the road made for an absolute no-brainer at night. Accomodation is everything you’d need: perfect for a single, or a couple, or adults +kid/s, etc, plenty of space in the large main room with separate kitchen and separate private bathroom/laundry. Cannot recommend this place and Graham highly enough, what a legend! Cheers mate, we’ll see you again.

We spent the weekend in the hunter and this place was the perfect fit for us! Very peaceful, warm in the winter nights , easy check in and a very helpful host throughout. Would recommend it! We also saw kangaroos which was a big plus for me!

Definitely one of the best AirBnB we have stayed at. Judy and Bruce were welcoming, helpful and friendly, even allowing us to check in an hour early (after a very early start for an early flight). Corona cottage is delightful and has everything you could need for a relaxing weekend. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was rather squeaky, but comfortable according to our adult son who slept on it, and the queen bed was very comfortable. The grounds are perfectly maintained and the pool looked lovely (although we did not get to use it due to rainy weather). A nice touch was the fresh fruit bowl and continental breakfast supplied. Overall, an amazing place for our family to relax and unwind, I highly recommend it if you are visiting the area.

Peaceful location, had a great girls weekend away 💜 next time I’ll just remember to bring more bug spray, there were more mozzies than I expected to be at the location, and I did not come prepared enough as the person who is generally the one bitten in the group, this is an error on my part

A wonderful stay! Felt right at home. Place was clean and cozy. Therese even went out of her way to make sure it the heating was on for our arrival

Tania was lovely - really friendly. She was very responsive and provided tips on things to do during the stay. She has the makes herself available if there are any issues (we had a tiny issue with the key, which was resolved immediately), but otherwise ensures that she doesn't intrude on your stay. She is very mindful of this.

Edwina and her husband were lovely hosts, and Elfin Hill is a great complexthat is well appointed and maintained. We enjoyed our visit.

Stephen’s place was exactly as expected, felt at home as soon as you arrive. The grounds and space are amazing and great for the larger group if needed. Stephen was a great communicator and easy to talk too. Would be more than happy to come again!!
