“We had a lovely stay with extended family (5 adults and 2 kids plus our dog). Great set up for the dog, the place was fenced well and lawn beautifully maintained. Our kids are 5 and 3 and I got serious anxiety on arrival cause the place is so lovely and my kids break everything lovely so do a quick move of some of the ornaments and then you will relax and enjoy. The hot tub was a favourite for everyone. We enjoyed the quiet beach being winter. Culburra itself is very quiet during winter but we found plenty of lovely walks and things to do. There is no bathroom in the room out the back which was the only tricky thing for our group, negotiating who had the best bladder to not need a bathroom at night! The fireplace is amazing and the beds all comfortable. A well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and appreciated the washing machine and clothes line as we stayed for a week! Thanks to our super host Susannah who was available for any questions.”
Guests most often say, " We wished we had stayed 2 or 3 nights in Port Macquarie"...and why wouldn't you with beaches, walks, rainforests, animals, great cafes, just to name a few! Guaranteed relaxation, so close to coastal walks & beaches and a short drive to the CBD. Welcome to our little bit of paradise in a most beautiful part of the coast! Port Macquarie is a great destination in itself, but a PERFECT half-way stop between Sydney and Byron Bay/ Brisbane.
“I booked at the last minute and wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by picturesque beauty of Lighthouse Beach and the surrounding area. Christine and Kym have a lovely home set back from the street and surrounded by lush gardens. Even though they live upstairs, the studio space is very private, with parking and it’s own entrance. It’s light and bright and clean. The small kitchenette is adequate for preparing simple meals (I cooked up mushrooms on toast with a glass of red wine). Water pressure in the shower was amazing, just what I needed after my drive from Sydney. For brekkie the next morning, Christine recommended ‘Coast’ cafe down on the beach and it didn’t disappoint. Great coffee and good selection. Tacking point lighthouse is within easy walking distance at the end of the beach. I only stayed for one night, but would have been happy to stay longer. Christine and Kym are blessed to be able to call this little piece of paradise home.”

“Amazing little getaway. David and Juan were wonderful hosts and let us know all the local tips and tricks. Were lucky enough to see some whales as David gave us some tips on where to spot them and some binoculars to help spot them. The place was cosy and had all you need for a coast getaway. Thank you for having us. We will be back soon.”
