Cottage holiday rentals in Adirondack

My husband and I just returned from a getaway week at the Graystone Cottage. We had a wonderful and relaxing time with not a care in the world because Cassandra and Jeremy addressed everything! Graystone Cottage is a beautiful property, both inside and out. I could spend hours in the hot tub just gazing at the many facets of woods outback! Inside, we truly felt like we were staying in a AAA Four Diamond property! As a walker, there’s nothing like a double loop up and back nearby Quaker Mountain Road or even a walk to nearby Marcy Park for the Whiskey Festival and Arts and Crafts Fair that coincided with our visit. And trails? Oh my…we could take our dog on so many nearby hikes along the Ausable where she could swim This was our second exceptional experience with hosts Cassandra and Jeremy. We all have a choice in where to stay…we will ALWAYS stay at one of Cassandra and Jermey’s properties!

what a gem the sweetheart cottage is! we loved everything about it! Great paddle boarding and swimming at the lake access and the cottage was so cozy! the hot tub was perfect for our aching bones from several days of tenting before we arrived at caroga lake! we can't wait to come back!

The cottage was perfect for a weekend trip to Saratoga Springs. It was the perfect location, walkable to the town and SPAC. We also really enjoyed its easy access to the park and its trails. The cottage itself was also great. The furnishings were very comfortable and looked just like the pictures. The back yard and its furnishing were perfect for relaxing after the day. We would definitely stay again during our next trip to the area.

We had an amazing time visiting Sacandaga Lake with our family for Memorial Day Weekend. The house was in such a great location and even though it rained most of the time, the views were still incredible. Brendon provides a binder full of great information about the house as well as things to do or see in the area. We loved hanging out on the deck and cooking food on the Blackstone grill. We enjoyed the hot tub and the large firepit table! There was lots of space for everyone to enjoy and not feel like we were on top of each other. They provide lots of refrigerator/freezer space so we could really enjoy just being there and making the most of our time together as a family. We would definitely visit again and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great getaway!

An incredibly beautiful, immaculate cottage with lovely mountain views and the most thoughtful, generous, and responsive hosts! Scott and Annika absolutely deserve their title as "Superhosts." We felt like we had our own private resort with a luxurious hot tub and a fire pit under the stars. Scott and Annika sent clear instructions for how to let ourselves into the cottage and had a great online guidebook. A kind handwritten note was there to welcome us. Scott and Annika checked in with us often to ask if we needed anything, and they were quick to respond to any questions we had. They set up the cottage with extra comforts such as slippers and snacks, and we really enjoyed using the espresso machine. We were especially happy that we were able to bring our 30-lb. dog with us, and we loved exploring all of the nature and art in the nearby Berkshires and southern Vermont. We highly recommend this cottage, and we hope to go back to stay there again soon.

We had a great vacation at Cora’s place, It’s cozy and close to all attractions and many restaurants. Great spot for families with children

We loved this air b and b! It is very spacious and just like the pictures. It was so convenient right off the highway but also surrounded by trees. The hot tub was great too!

Definitely a cute little cabin, very close to town. Would try to go back again to do more activities without the rain. The drive there is beautiful. Would recommend for couples (or for yourself) for a little getaway.

We enjoyed our trip and stay very much! Jeremy was an amazing host! very friendly, very easy to communicate with. We brought up our dog which was not a problem with Jeremy. He was very kind, in having snacks, fresh eggs and a fridge full of things for us to have. The koi pond was beautiful. The stay was very peaceful and the view was breath taking.

Great AirBNB, would absolutely stay again. The pool was fantastic and everything you could need was provided. Our family had the best time, this is the place to stay in the Averill Park area.

Conveniently located to downtown and Lake Placid attractions. Large fenced in yard perfect for our dog. Although the location is on a somewhat busy road, the cottage is tucked away several hundred feet away in a quiet, private yard. Very unique design touches in the cottage including a vaulted ceiling with fan and comfortable king size bed.

If you're looking for a slightly rustic, but totally comfortable place to stay near Manchester, this is the ideal location. We have been with our dog Mac for a total of 6 visits to this cozy cottage. The local area has a lot to offer in the beautiful area of the Green Mountains. Kim keeps the cottage very clean and provides you with all the comforts of home. Tonya went above expectations to make sure we had a pleasant stay. She even arranged with her neighbor to allow us space to park our boat trailer. This was a great location for boating and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this as the p!ace to stay. Thanks Tonya, you are a super host and we appreciated your recommendations for grocery shopping, restaurants and best boat launch. We made some special memories with our grandson and fishing on Lake Champlain. We had a great time.

Very cosy cottage in Monroe Bridge. Isolated enough to feel in the middle of nowhere yet close enough to North Adams that I was able to take in the Clark Museum, MassMoCa and other attractions. Very comfortable and cosy and dog friendly! Several nice trails nearby that I took my dog on long walks without any crowd, in fact with no-one around whatsoever. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at Greg & Karen's place! It is a lovely, recently built carriage house that is very homey and clean. Comfortable bed, good shower, and a well-equipped kitchen. The location beautiful and somewhat remote, but also not too far from Burlington. The carriage house has a window that looks right into where there are horse stalls for their three horses! Unfortunately, rainy weather prevented us from walking the beautiful grounds and visiting the horses up close. Greg and Karen were very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend a stay at Valley View Farm.

Pictures can’t capture how lovely this cabin is. It’s roomy and well appointed. Beds are great! We were too busy to enjoy it fully and hope to get back there. Highly recommend Middlebury and don’t miss the Robert Frost Interprerive trail.

By far the nicest place to stay in Old Forge. Equipped with everything you need then some. Always super clean, great amenities, superb spot on the water. A+++

Beautiful setting! Very peaceful and relaxing… just what we were looking to find. Anne described her home perfectly! We had everything we needed and more. Clear instructions were left concerning how to work appliances as well as check out details. Great location to restaurants. Would love to return someday.

Heathers Cottage was just we were looking for. The dock and waterside camp chairs were a great way to enjoy the peaceful Loon Lake. We did have rain during our stay and found ourself stuck indoors but this was no obstacle at all. The cottage had a book for everyone’s liking, many different board games and a TV as well, the time flew by! Can’t wait to return back to enjoy the get-a-way from city life!

Higley Flow was a perfect, relaxing venue for our family that was in the area to attend a college graduation. It is a beautiful house; it has a fabulous wraparound deck. John was very proactive in communicating, calling me a week in advance to introduce himself and explain the house. The house was very clean. We did not have a chance to enjoy the outdoor spaces due to the weather but they look great. Elderly guests or those with physical disabilities should be aware of the spiral staircase that is difficult to navigate. There is an alternate staircase outdoors, but was difficult to use during foul weather.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Buddy Shack! Situated right on the lake...... we spent a lot of time on the large deck overlooking the water. Brandon and Corey were so sweet to check in on is after our arrival to see if we needed anything. The cabin was super clean and very cozy. We felt very welcome there! Thanks Brandon and Corey!

My husband and I stayed at Lisa's cottage while visiting our daughter who is living in Hinesburg. It was the most peaceful house and setting I have experienced through airbnb. This remark is not just in response to the lake, trees and views but because there were no abnormal issues, we received detailed instructions on how to find the home and our hosts were very responsive - absolutely no complications or disappointments. The description and photos on the airbnb site were spot on and we were able to cook several meals. I must mention the dogs - they are incredibly well behaved and my daughter loved them. She misses our family dog, so being with Lisa's was a real treat. They did not come to the cottage and did not jump all over us when we were near them. Finally, the setting is absolutely beautiful and I 100% recommend staying over and over again!

We absolutely loved staying at the Stillman. The house had absolutely everything we needed and much more. It was beautifully decorated and the perfect romantic getaway. Larry & Christine were so attentive and Larry gave us great recommendations on what to do in the area. He really went above and beyond! The space was perfect for exploring, and relaxing by the fire pit after a long day of hiking. Will definitely be back for some skiing in the winter. Thank you guys so much!
