Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Adirondack

By some distance our favourite stay on the road trip, will absolutely be coming back if we can!

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The house was clean, cozy, and in a great location (only 20 min away from Manchester). We ended up using the downstairs bedroom because the upstairs bedroom gets pretty hot even with the fans turns on. We also did not use the pond because there was a good amount of algae growing in it.

Loved the area and the proximity to Lake George Village. Nice living space with a nice view.

Beautiful cabin in the woods that isn’t too far from anything but feels isolated just the same. Terrific base of operations to access many trailheads, Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Restful and low maintenance stay. We would recommend and visit again.

We completed the lake placid 9er hike on our stay. Great location with all hikes less than 20 min away (some less than 10). Spectacular view and incredible kitchen. Hot tub and sauna were great amenities for recovery from long days hiking. Place is as advertised and you cannot beat the view of the mountains. Highly suggest going to the hungry trout restaurant. Only a few minutes away, much closer than downtown lake placid and the food/service was great. Highly recommend this rental and hope to be back next year to begin the 46er.

The space was fantastic for our two little families with easy access to the local Slate Valley Trails. Lots of wonderful and attentive touches to make our stay homey welcoming. Hope to return again soon!

Lovely home in a lovely setting. The view is breathtaking and Barbara has outfitted the space woth everything you could possibly need. She is extremely thoughtful and personable. The area is great for hiking and outdoor activities but is also near Middlebury College and Burlington.

We had a great stay at William’s. The location was beautiful and the house was comfortable. We had a great mix of day-tripping and relaxing with a view. We also ran into William and he was very helpful and friendly.

We absolutely loved the house. Everything was very comfortable. We relaxed in every room. Dean was very responsive with questions. We enjoyed being able to spend the day in a nice uncluttered pool area. The house was very clean and uncluttered with space for our bags in the rooms and we weren’t tripping over them. Plenty of space for six adults and a small dog to relax in the same rooms without being on top of each other. The best air b&b we have ever stayed in.

Beautiful spot to relax, reconnect and leave refreshed! We enjoyed everything about our stay, especially the sauna, living pool, and hike to the yurt! We would love to return, thank you for sharing such a peaceful place with us, it was exactly what we needed.

I enjoyed my stay at the retreat. It is a quiet, serene environment. It is very private as long as no one is staying at the adjoining unit (and even if there is, the walls are sound-proofed and you don't hear a thing.) Rosalind was a kind and helpful host. She even brought me some computer paper when I ran out! I would definitely stay there again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay and the town of Brattleboro as a whole. We loved the local restaurants and cafes. Kiplings and The Porch are a must visit. We found the recommendations in the welcome binder. While there we explored the trails surrounding the property. We did the full loop (yellow trail). It was about a mile and a half and a moderate hike, coming from a beginner. The interactions we had with Sean and others on the property were all pleasant. The cats roaming around the outdoor areas were adorable and fun to watch. We also really enjoyed the hot tub! The view is spectacular. Overall the stay was fantastic, just be aware this is an off grid kind of experience. This cabin is also down at the bottom of a fairly steep hill, making it more secluded but quite far from the wash house and hot tub. The cabin is a bit dusty and gets quite warm during the day. The bed and sofa are a bit uncomfortable but did the trick for a two night stay.

We are absolutely going back, the cabin is absolutely stunning and super kid friendly. She has a binder with local things to do and places to eat. The house and pool were super clean and just everything was beautiful. 💯 recommend. Can't wait to go back

Bob and Joan’s cabin was absolutely spectacular. Overall this place is the perfect mountain getaway! This place has all the amenities you could need, prime commute to surrounding ADK regions, and let’s not forget the breathtaking views. This place exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we needed for a get away to the mountains with the dog. Bob was an amazing host and we look forward to coming back, as well as passing along this gem to friends and family to also book with Bob & Joan!

A really awesome place, ideal for relaxing and get energized without external distractions ! Limited network depending on your carrier, which was exactly what we were looking for! A bit chilly in mid October - as advertised - but Pam made everything to make sure we were comfortable ! I am pretty sure I will come back! Lots to do in terms of hiking, and activities in the cities nearby

What a beautiful cabin nestled in the woods near the river. Close to town with lots to do nearby. Scot was a wonderful host and was quick to respond to any needs. He provided recommendations for fly fishing and checked in a few times to make sure everything was going well.

Very clean space with welcoming charm and decor. Loved falling asleep listening to the river. Loved the hammock beside the river. Enjoyed coffee in the screened in porch listening to the river rushing by. The sauna was fantastic and easy to use. Bed was very comfortable. Very easy to get around to all the surrounding towns. Lots of restaurant options. Great experience all around.

We had a wonderful week in David’s cabin. We arrived much later than we intended and therefore didn’t respond to David’s welcoming text until the day after but definitely appreciated that he had reached out to make sure everything was ok. He also responded promptly when I asked a few questions. It was exactly as he had described it and was extremely comfortable. The space was clean and had all the amenities we desired. The gas grill outside, the stove, the coffee maker, WiFi and TV and the stove, all clean and in excellent working order! The seating areas on the deck were lovely and I went on 3 mile plus walks every day while my husband was fishing. We didn’t take advantage of the outdoor fire pit or the pellet stove but appreciated their availability. The area is gorgeous and I could look at the mountains forever! Many thanks David!!

The view simply amazing. George our host was and he is all the things a good host should be; welcoming, helpful, accommodating, great personality and an awesome dog as well. I will strongly recommend this location if staying on top of a mountain with great views and a warm shower sounds like a great day to you. We stayed in the main cabin and it had everything we needed and then some. Very cool vintage design feel and very clean. Great job George! We will be back!

Catherine’s place was a dream. It’s right on the lake, so you have beautiful views and privacy. Catherine is very friendly and helpful and truly one of the best Airbnb hosts! We were undecided if we wanted to stay by the lake or in Burlington, and I am so glad we chose this Airbnb. We were close enough to town, but loved to get away to nature. She has extra amenities like a sauna, bikes, and kayaks. We brought our dog, and he loved having room to play ball and it was very pet friendly. I only wish we stayed longer, and I think it would have been great to be there in warmer weather. However, having my normal tea in the living area and watching the lake from inside was still lovely!

This is an amazing place and we had such a great time during our stay at the yurt! The hosts were so kind and the property is so beautiful. The yurt is such a cool airbnb and we really enjoyed being there for a quiet getaway weekend. We will definitely be coming back!
