Holiday rentals with lake access in Africa

This beautiful, historic home was everything we hoped it would be and more. Millie was very friendly and helpful. We all wished we could have stayed longer.

Der perfekte Ort für alle die Ruhe und Erholung suchen. Das kleine Dörfchen ist einfach magisch, der Blick auf das Meer ein Traum und die Wohnung traditionell aber stilvoll eingerichtet. Außerdem wurde im Vergleich zu anderen AirBNBs an alles gedacht, es gibt z.B. Küchenrolle, Spülmaschinentabs und endlich mal zwei Geschirrtücher.

Such wonderful, generous hosts! I booked last minute and they were so communicative and even stocked the fridge full of treats which were all delicious. Thank you for the warmth and kindness!

We hebben 5 nachten gelogeerd op de prachtige plek Xairu. Het was een waar paradijs! Heeeel veel prachtige vogels gezien. Een schitterende omgeving, comfortabel huis met alles wat je nodig hebt en de communicatie met Yvette was heel prettig. Ze reageerde snel en geen vraag was teveel. Voor wie rust, comfort en schitterende natuur wil ervaren is Xairu DE plek om te verblijven! Ik en mijn 4 reisgenoten kunnen de plek van harte aanbevelen!

An absolute treasure surrounded by pristine nature on your doorstep. The home is tastefully furnished, extremely comfortable with an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, a ceiling to floor bookcase filled with wonder and excitement and the wraparound porch allows sun worshippers or shade seekers opportunity to spend every moment outside. The beds are super comfy, and each room showcases the astounding view. Unwind, relax and soak up the serenity.... the only challenge is that you'll not want to leave.

10/10. Absolutely awesome location, wonderful units with lots of additional amenities and activities included (pool, bicycles, SUP boards, veggie garden, laundry, etc.), and an incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful team. We couldn’t recommend this more, and will be back as much as possible!

Christos en zijn familie zijn zeer aardig. Een persoonlijk ontvangst met taart was zeer hartelijk en uitgebreid. Het verblijf ligt op een heuvel met inderdaad een steile weg er heen. Blijf in de eerste versnelling, zet bij een automaat deze in D1. Blijf gestaag gas geven dan komt alles goed en went de op en afrit. Het grondstuk ligt zeer privé zonder buren in de buurt. Het zwembad is heerlijk. Overal zijn schaduw plekken te vinden. Wij hadden de eerste dag reeds vriendschap gesloten met de poezen, deze zijn echt een verrijking tijdens het verblijf. In het Troodos gebergte zijn prachtige wandelroutes te vinden, een aanrader is de Artemis rondgang van 7 km. Ook een aanrader is het bezoek aan de hoofdstad op 45 minuten autorijden. Wij hebben genoten van het verblijf en het afscheid nemen viel ons moeilijk. Hartelijk dank Christos en familie voor het verblijf.

We had a wonderful four days staying at Frank's apartment in the beautiful Xlendi bay. Gozo is a stunning island to discover. The apartment was well equipped and well situated, only two minutes from the bay with all it's excellent restaurants. Excellent base for exploring the sland with some lovely scenic walks from the bay. We hope to return to Gozo soon. Thank you Frank

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely Airbnb! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The electric blankets and wall heater were a huge bonus, keeping us nice and toasty during our stay. The room itself was a perfect blend of charm and coziness. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others. Thanks to the host for creating such a warm and welcoming space!

Séjour parfait,appartement très propre,idéalement placé,restos,café,etc… . Très bonne vue sur la mer,chambres et salon,juste en bas,coiffeur et épicerie dans l immeuble. Très bonne communication avec Abdellah,rapide,je recommande et j y reviendrai

It is our second time staying here and we most definitely come back again. Centrally located with the most beautiful views over the lagoon. Surrounded by restaurants and shops but apartment is private and quiet at night. Kitchen is well equipped with all necessary to cook any meal. Extras like purified water and cookies. Open plan lounge and dining area. Netflix and You Tube available. Lovely bedroom with lots of cupboards. Bathroom with shower and bath. We can recommend this accommodation if you love nature and also like to be centrally located.

We absolutely adored Sherif's place, it felt so rustic and warm. The lighting was absolutely amazing and bright, it made the place feel warm and inviting. We really felt at home. The ambiance was lovely and we felt spoiled. The beds were so comfy with fresh clean linen. The shower had great water flow. The location itself was quiet and not overwhelming which is great in comparison in Egypt. We felt safe and were warmly invited by Sherifs friend. check in and check out were smooth. We loved the recommendations from Sherif also, was a lovely touch. Many lovely cafes within couple of min walking.

The place is very nice and clean, the host is kind and patient, will always come back to the same spot. The location is great, secure compound, near the waterfront.

This is an awesome little place located within a wine estate! We felt so cozy and the view from the balcony was just beautiful. We even spotted some springbok while enjoying the coffee and rusks left for us. Julie was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you and we will be back!

Wir waren für 1 Woche in dem Apartment von Yvonne und Juan. Die Wohnung ist super gemütlich, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super ausgestattet. Die tolle Dachterrasse ist der perfekte Platz zum Frühstücken und sonnen 🌞. Obwohl die Wohnung mitten im Zentrum liegt, ist es nachts super ruhig. Supermärkte, Cafés, Restaurants und nette Bars sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und zu Fuß zu erreichen. Yvonne ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, immer hilfsbereit und trotzdem respektiert sie die Privatsphäre ihrer Gäste. Wir hatten eine super schöne Woche und würden sehr gerne wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank an Yvonne und Juan für Alles 🌸

Lovely, charismatic cottage with a great garden. The wharthogs greeting is during breakfast at the porch and the Calabas monkeys in the trees, and the fireplace were highlights. The bed is big, which is great. Frankly was lovely.

Absolutely loved our stay which was unfortunately for 1 night only. The property was beautiful and cottage incredibly cozy for our group. Look forward to coming back again and staying longer!

What an absolute privilege this past month has been. The cottage has everything you could possibly need—and then some. The views are even more breathtaking in person than they appear in the photos, and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. It truly felt like home. Definitely one of our all-time favorite Airbnbs.
