The stay with Kjersti and Erik was just perfect! The cottage is wonderful, we felt at home immediately. The fantastic veranda with lake view was great to hang out, relax and enjoy the remote nature and silence. The apartment was very lovely, great bed for a perfect sleep, kitchen with everything we needed and just cozy. Kjersti even put very freshly picked flowers into the apartment! We had a great trip to a sandy island with the canoe they provided for us. In the evening we had a really nice chat having a glass of wine with Kjersti and Erik, who are just great hosts, though we also had very much privacy in the cottage. So absolute recommendation! We‘ll come back! :)

Checked out after a few days in the annex of Lise. Everything was as described and out from the photos. Lise and her husband were very pleasant and accommodating with local tips. Very convenient with access to the kindergarten's outside area, only for ourselves 🤩 Thanks for us 😊

We had a great time in Flatdal and the hosting was beyond expectations! The cabin was spacious and clean, with a good bathroom and simple kitchen. We got lovely weather and grilled outside until the sunset! It was not lacking in hospitality and helpfulness from Asbjørn and Gunhild, we thank you so warmly for your stay!

Amazing place to stay! Lovely views thru the windows, loved the fire place in the living room! Very spacious house, enough space for a bigger group of people. Loved it!

Very friendly hosts - would highly recommend staying here! Description and pictures are very accurate - small and cozy! Cooking in the kitchen was tight but my wife and I managed to make some easy meals during our stay. Shower is outdoors but very private, great water pressure and hot so even on the colder days it was very pleasant. Not a ton to do in the specific area but very easy drive to Kristiansand and Mandal if you are looking for more shops and restaurants. Beautiful place very close to the beach!

Idyllic place and a pleasant host. The apartment was well equipped. A terrace with outdoor furniture would have been nice to dispose of when the weather allows it. No opportunities for a trip on the sea this time when the boat/ engine had to have a service. Would love to come back late. Kind regards, Roald Kvalvågnes.

Great hospitality- Inger Marit's kindness and good spirits made the stay special. The little cabin was both cozy, extremely clean and absolutely perfect for a small family. We'd love to come again!

Cozy cottage with a great view (much better than in the pictures) that you get dragged by morning, noon and evening Lovely terrace area with sun loungers The outdoor shower worked fine Easy to find and a nice little path up to cabin Nice that it goes freely around the mountain (bells can be heard all the time) Good location for hiking. The area is so beautiful and wild - and deserted when you get out on the mountain. We hiked to Lauvnesknuten. We met one person on the entire trip and it was on the gravel road before we turned onto the trail. The walk up there is so nice, the trail is good, the last climb a little steep, but it's worth it when you reach the top. The view is indescribably beautiful. Definitely recommended - a little too many private things, so there's no room for guests' things, especially in the bathroom and bedroom We'd love to come again

One of the nicest places we've ever been to. The view is indescribable! We didn't want to leave. Unfortunately, we only booked two nights - far too short. You can walk to the center, and a supermarket is even closer. The kitchen is superbly equipped and has everything you need. We were allowed to even help ourselves to the plum tree in front of the house😍. The hiking areas are quickly accessible and totally worthwhile. Everything was great with baby (8 months), the apartment was very child-friendly (bed and high chair). We'll have to come back sometime. We came down like this, it was really great!!

The place matched the description exactly and was super clean! The residential area is rather secluded but quiet and equipped with very nice houses. The hosts were very nice. I highly recommend a stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is beautifully and privately right in nature. The house is well appointed and we had great fun with the SUP. For questions, Sven was quick to reach and also had good tips for us. We would book again anytime. However, what you should pay attention to when packing is that the last path to the house is only accessible on foot. So backpacks are available:)

Idyllic place with fantastic sea views. Cozy furnished with everything you need. The outdoor area has several zones and superstructures so that you can be outside even in a little messy weather. Many great hiking trails and proximity to the sea and swimming are great when the weather allows it. Otherwise, it is easy to drive to Arendal or other exciting small places. Solveig welcomed us warmly and answered questions and recommendations. Would love to come back to this gem of a place.

A truly beautiful place. Perfect for a relaxed and tranquil trip. Parking is a 1 min walk from the cabin and with car would use 15min to the city center. Nice and friendly hosts! Recommended!

A truly beautiful stay in the most breathtaking location. A real wild Norwegian experience in the cosiest home. Amazing hot tub with views over the rolling hills and a cosy log burner with plenty of logs provided!

The place was brand new, super equipped and absolutely clean - even the little things were taken care of. The small vacation home is very quietly located on the water, the hosts and the neighbors were extremely friendly to us!! We also enjoyed the superbly furnished terrace very much! We can unconditionally recommend the place and the hosts!

Quiet, small place a little outside with a forest behind it, which was great for a short walk. Check-in was very pleasant, especially since I surprised Elisabeth a little early. Nevertheless, I was able to move into the room, thank you for that! For me, the ideal place to recharge my batteries for the rest of the family vacation.
