On the property, there is a swing for friends, as well as apple and cherry trees. Rowboat access in the summer for a lovely day on the lake. About 2–3 kilometers (1.2–1.9 miles) away is Sandviksbadet, which has a sandy beach. Approximately 20 km (12 miles) to Ica Maxi in Eskilstuna.

Welcome to our bohemian cottage at Oppgården! We are very happy that you have chosen to rent our little cottage outside Strängnäs, Swedish idyll is probably the right description. Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here). Welcome to our guest house. The cottage is located on our farm with nature around the corner, in the middle of a historic environment, eight minutes by car from the city center and with off-road trails for hiking, running or MTB biking outside the door. In the yard, besides us, there is a dog and two cats. In summer, there is a trampoline, board games in the garden and a small barbecue and patio in a pergola.
