Beautiful Hideaway in the hills of trás os montes

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

Além de todas as condições em casa para fazer refeições e confraternizar em família e amigos tem uma piscina no terreno que podem se refrescar nos dias quentes e ficar a sombra de Oliveiras muito antigas.Fazer caminhadas pela montanha até ao rio é sempre uma actividade muito saudável, o rio Rabaçal é muito bonito e existem vários percursos até ele, fica a pé cerca de 15 a 30 minutos. What a wonderful stay we had at Maria's! She literally welcomed us with open arms with a delicious lunch on her balcony with a beautiful view over the garden and the beautiful green hills. On the same balcony, we enjoyed an extensive and lovingly prepared breakfast every morning. The place is really great and especially the garden, which is like a paradise, full of fruit trees, olives, grapes, vegetables, herbs and other plants and flowers. There are nice seats everywhere to enjoy the wonderful garden with the beautiful view. And then Maria, a rare sweet, warm and caring woman. Everything she does feels sincere and straight from the heart. She was almost like a mother to us and like a grandmother to our daughter. It was not easy to say goodbye after 6 days, but we take the best memories with us. Thank you very much dear Maria!

Definitely a good place to stay here, a very clean house, with everything you need to be very comfortable. We have traveled with a two-year-old and has everything you need to make the child comfortable and safe. From the first moment Cindy have given us all the facilities we have needed. We will return for sure since the area is very nice and the treatment was excellent.

The place is wonderful, between mountains and perfect for disconnecting. The house is simply spectacular, you can tell that they have put your soul in that project. It is a luxury home surrounded by nature. Materials, appliances, decoration, etc, all of the very first quality and with very good taste. We are a family of 5 and have spent Christmas at Casa da Eira Velha. Gloria's reception was unique, we had a large basket with fruit, nuts, homemade jams and local honey as well as vegetables from her orchard waiting for us! Any questions we had Gloria resolved it in less than 30 minutes. The house is dreamy in a place to disconnect and rest!
