Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Agujitas de Drake

Awesome spot for relaxing and adventuring in the Costa Rican jungle and beach. We love love loved the porch overlooking the canopy and the ocean. We spent hours watching the birds (macaws, toucans, hummingbirds, tanagers, and more!) and listening to the sounds of the waves. Bring binoculars! The rooms are really nice with AC in every room, nice bathrooms and nice beds. The kitchen is great with everything you need to cook. There’s a restaurant and bar a few mins down the path if needed. We booked a night tour with Carlos, snorkeling tour, and day wildlife viewing tour with Adrian when we arrived. Susan arranged it all and it was amazing! We saw so much wildlife in the forest during the day and night, and had a great time snorkeling. Our six days at the place were wonderful and we highly recommend this spot. Please note there are two rivers to cross if you come by car. They were low enough to cross for us but it is a consideration depending on the season you book (rainy or dry).

We had an awesome adventure at Casa Roja, it was a beautiful house in an amazing location. We spotted monkeys from the living room most days, we were visited by the Macaws several times during our stay, and the tours of Corcovado & Canos were spectacular. Graciela and staff were extremely friendly, accommodating, and the prepared meals were delicious. It was obvious that our happiness and comfort was their priority. I would highly recommend Casa Roja for a Costa Rican retreat, just be prepared for the heat. Without a steady breeze or airflow via fans, the heat can be brutal for northerners like us.

This is a must-visited place in Costa Rica. Greg helps with anything and has an amazing place! It's better than all other touristic places. His jungle-retreat was cleaner than all other places we visited in Costa Rica. You feel totally alone (with your friend or partner) in the jungle. There is a nice (hot) shower and when necessary a fresh river pool in the back. If you make your plans for the Osa I don't recommend a standard Corcovado (family) tour, because you'll be disappointed after reading books. Greg can help you to arrange tours with Sabalo lodge nearby for non-touristic tours adapted to your needs. Recommended also is to go to Sierpe and then Greg could help you further to get to his place.

Een heerlijke woning op een fantastische locatie midden in de natuur. Vanaf de bovenveranda heb ik genoten van alle vogels, vlinders, en van de Jezus Christ hagedissen en twee kaaimannen in de vijver. Het is een goede uitvalsbasis voor een dagtocht naar het Serina station in natuurpark Corcovado. Kathrin heeft ons een gids aangeraden die goed Engels spreekt. Boek vooral ook de rondleiding bij Finka Köbö aan het begin van de onverharde weg, die was erg de moeite waard. Tip: maak tevoren printscreens van de route instructies en de toegangscode, je hebt namelijk geen mobiel bereik onderweg.

Drake Bay is a beautiful place but staying with Silita made our trip even better, she and her family were very accommodating and kind to us.

It would be hard to adequately say how amazing Mark’s place is and how extraordinarily kind, welcoming, and generous of their time all the people who help with the visit are. We stayed for a week and loved every bit of it. Rayna helped us organize shuttles to and from the house, Simone met us at the grocery store to help shop on day 1, and Ruben met me us in town to boat up to the house. From there, Ruben was available every day to lead hikes or take us on the boat to fish, tour the mangroves or hang out at the beach. We chose to have Dolly make dinner each night and she was amazing. And Simone led us on a full day excursion to Cano Island. Beautiful bird watching right from the house and capuchin and howler monkeys found their way to the trees just outside. Our boys most loved to body surfing and swimming off the beach and the night hike. If you want to see the wildlife in Costa Rica and stay in a truly unique home, this is the place!

We had a lovely stay at the house!The view and the surrounding forest lets you forget the steep hill. The trees with their berries and flowers atttact parakeets, toucans, motmots, hummingbirds, macaws, tanagers and many more. House is equipped with firm beds, 140cm wide (ok for two 1,80+m tall sons) with mosquito nets (didn't need then), good Wifi, towels and all you need for cooking. You have to bring water or boil+filter the tap water for drinking (filter provided). Aircons work great at night, during most days a breeze around the hill and through the screen windows helps. Dogs barking occasionally was no problem. It is very peacefull and relaxing. House and windows can be locked, we felt very safe for ourselves and our stuff. The next supermarket and beach is not far and at low tide one can easily walk along the beach to reach the main beach/ boats. Melan is a super host! Very friendly, caring and helpful, gave many advice, information and helped booking tours for us. Million tks!

Este lugar es MUCHO más bonito de lo que permiten las fotos. Nuestro anfitrión fue muy acogedor y la comunicación fue fácil. La unidad está justo en medio de la selva, por lo que teníamos todo tipo de transeúntes silvestres interesantes y dignos de fotos. A pesar de estar en un condominio la propiedad parecía tener la cantidad correcta de aislamiento y privacidad. ¡¡¡¡Y la playa !!!!, casi solitaria, que llegas por un sendero que interiorizas tranquilidad para relajarte, fui con mi bebe de 4 meses y fue muy fácil el acceso del coche de bebe a la playa, encontraras mucha sombra debajo de los exuberantes árboles, que ayudaron a mantener fresca y un buen descanso de mi bebe. Hay muchos restaurantes en la zona, y si no quieres salir pasas por un supermercado y compras para preparar tus comidas, la cocina está completamente equipada, o puedes caminando por la playa a Villa Eleonor un restaurante local, llega con tiempo porque tarda un poco de tiempo en servir la comida, Volveremos pronto

Muy lindo el alojamiento, la anfitriona siempre atenta y muy amable!! Quizás lo único que faltaría sería un aire acondicionado jaja por el calor que hace en Puerto Jiménez pero fuera de ahí muy lindo todo!

Tolle hoteleigene Trails und sehr schöner Poolbereich. Sehr gutes Essen und freundliches Personal. Sehr schnelle Reaktion auf Fragen und sehr hilfreiche Hinweise. Sehr empfehlenswert !

Wir waren leider nur kurz da, aber die Unterkunft ist sehr cool! Aussicht top und sehr Nahe am Strand, Restaurants usw.! Vincent war super nett, hilfsbereit und sehr flexibel! Wir würden jederzeit sehr gerne wieder kommen!

You can never get enough of the view! Amazing place and surroundings. Totally recommend this place to stay. Friendly hosts! We loved our stay, we will definitely come back. It is very up on a hill so don’t expect to walk to town center Uvita, you will need a car (4x4 on rainy season). But the drive is totally worth it.

Excelente alojamiento! Don Durman siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros por mensajes y muy amable con cada consulta que teníamos, además Doña Carmen su abuelita fue muy hospitalaria y el perrito "mambo" es la mascota del lugar y muy amigable. El Airbnb es exactamente como lo describen e igual a las fotos, todo muy muy limpio, zona segura y tranquila, privado, todo funciona perfectamente y las instrucciones fueron claras. No tenemos ninguna queja, fue una experiencia muy amena y de seguro que volveremos! Muchas gracias a Don Durman por un excelente servicio en este hermoso lugar 🙌🏻✨️

Definitely coming back here! This was such a beautiful and unique spot, perfect for my husband & I’s surf trip in Pavones. It’s a short drive from the famous break and this place is so cute, we enjoyed hanging out at the air bnb a lot as well. They even have their own coffee shop called Bodega right in front of our stay, and it’s a quaint little surfers hangout spot with coffees and smoothies, definitely looked forward to that after a day of surfing! The owners were also incredibly kind and helpful, teaching us about the area and where to surf.

Un lugar muy acogedor,tranquilo,seguro y limpio, cuando entras a la villa huele muy rico y está equipada con lo necesario para pasar una buena estadia. Aprovechamos la piscina y el rancho para hacer una carne asada. Cuando necesitamos ayuda,rapidamente nos solucionaron

Por encima de todo fue excelente Nos sorprendió llegar y ver un lugar tan hermoso, ordenado, organizado y limpio, la piscina es bastante honda (Unos 1.70cm ya que mido 1.47 y no alcanzaba el fondo) Lo cual es bastante comodo para nadar a gusto y sumergirse un rato, la cocina está muy muy bien equipada⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Con el Victor no tuve que esperar ni 2 minutos a que me respondiera, siempre dió con el resultado de mis consultas, y Gabriela sin duda a alguna muy muy amable y atenta a nuestras necesidades, el lugar está igual que en las fotos, cerca de playas y el lugar es muy muy tranquilo para darse una caminata, ir a comer, playa e incluso cataratas(a 10 minutos en auto) Lo recomiendo bastante, en definitiva volveremos algún día⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sehr tolle und grosse Unterkunft. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und ein grosses Badzimmer. Empfehlenswert.

I came for a yoga and meditation retreat. This was the perfect 1 bedroom home to base myself, kitchen to cook each day, nice hill to go for morning walking and hikes, large lounge and balcony to practice my morning yoga. Good internet to do my work at the computer. Good air conditioning to keep cool when in the house. Lizzet was always responsive and helpful. High recommend.

I had a wonderful , comfortable stay here. I highly recommend this place. I booked last-minute and Jaime was promptly responsive. Easy self-check-in, with clear instructions. Everything was perfect, I had everything I needed. Great cozy bed, covered secure parking inside a gate, nice little pool, great spacious deck. I can’t say enough good things about this space.

We enjoyed our time in Uvita! The space was comfortable! Marlène was prompt in responding! The pool was fabulous after our adventures on hot days! The location was great! 15 minute casual walk to Marina Ballena National Park (The Whale’s Tail)! I would definitely stay here again when in the area!

Host was friendly and responsive to messages and when we had a minor issue with the gate controller they sent someone the next day to get it fixed.
