We had an awesome adventure at Casa Roja, it was a beautiful house in an amazing location. We spotted monkeys from the living room most days, we were visited by the Macaws several times during our stay, and the tours of Corcovado & Canos were spectacular. Graciela and staff were extremely friendly, accommodating, and the prepared meals were delicious. It was obvious that our happiness and comfort was their priority. I would highly recommend Casa Roja for a Costa Rican retreat, just be prepared for the heat. Without a steady breeze or airflow via fans, the heat can be brutal for northerners like us.

We had a lovely stay at Shelsy's house. Great communication before we got there and whilst we were there. The house was as described. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Lovely view from the house and a 15 minute walk to a beach and one of the restaurants We walked into town but it was quite hot doing so. Shelsy and her mum were so helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to leave our bags when we went to Corcovado National Park for a night. You will definitely need a 4 x 4 car to drive here from Sierpe and i would recommend one on the other route. Or take the passenger ferry.

Excellent service, location, price, cleanliness and close to everyone

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to leave your car and take the boat to Drake Bay. It was easy to find and check in was a breeze. The beds were very comfortable and great AC. Sara and her husband were very helpful. We parked our car in the gated area on their property for several days while we were at Drake Bay for a small daily fee. They also took us to the boat in the morning and picked us up when we came back. It was pouring rain when we came back and Sara invited me into her home(her and her husband live next-door) to change out of my wet clothing and offered my husband and I some coffee. They are wonderful hosts, very warm and personable. They made our trip to Drake Bay stress-free. I can’t recommend her place enough and next time I come to Sierpe I will once again book her place.

We couldn't have wished for better! We are also very fond of it as if we were in this house forever.. comfortable, cozy, perfect in every detail. I loved having breakfast in the spacious outdoor living room, with birds of every color and sound and the now friendly iguana of all shapes and sizes. I watched the sunset from the river bank and rested peacefully even when it rained at night... we arrived tired and left regenerated and already with nostalgia... everything was very clean, equipped, everything is really perfect! Thanks to Simone for tips on nearby tours, for courtesy and immediacy. And Erica for making us find the house very clean and full of flowers, 🌺 I recommend with the heart to come to this magical place.

we loved to stay at this beautiful house in Drake bay. Jonathan and his parents are amazing people, they wanted us to feel comfortable and did everything for that. we even got a goodbye present from his parents. lovely hosts, lovely house ❤️

The truth is that everything was excellent, very clean, tidy, and equipped. We enjoyed it to the fullest and the great ranch was a very beautiful area to share Parking and everything is very securely closed, in addition to being extremely quiet and relaxing

Our original AirBnb didn’t work out- we literally couldn’t get to it because there was a river flowing across the road! We booked R House at the last minute and were so grateful that we were able to check in immediately. The house was so great! Clean, spacious, comfortable, private, nice amenities- we loved our stay! The hosts were super friendly and responsive. If I’m ever in this area again I would definitely stay here again. There is another house on the property available for rent. Very convenient if you are traveling with a huge family or friends.

Our stay at Corcovado Private Villas was beyond amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by a friendly staff member who made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The villa was absolutely stunning—spacious, comfortable, and nestled in the heart of the lush jungle, teeming with wildlife. We even got to pick fresh pineapples right from the property! One of the highlights was the breathtaking pool at the top of the mountain, offering panoramic views of both the sea and the mountains—truly a paradise. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our vegan diets and were genuinely excited to meet our dogs, which made the whole experience feel even more special. We had the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, with several day trips to beautiful local beaches and the opportunity to cook delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen. We left feeling completely refreshed and grateful for such an unforgettable getaway.

Casa Lapas was an amazing place. The house is very clean, close to the sea, very complete, easy access and very safe in case you are with🐶. We are very happy with the house and Alexander's kindness, they even left us a welcome detail, we are very grateful and happy, we hope to return.

Richie was super helpful both before and during our stay / the pool and restaurant areas are gorgeous - with beautiful birds at late afternoon - Richie had an AC unit installed in our bedroom prior to arrival which was greatly appreciated coming from Michigan - would recommend having a car as the area is quite hilly and will want one to get to local areas. We stayed in villa 10 and it had everything we needed and was very private. There is an onsite hiking trail and yoga also available. Nature and bird lovers paradise

The R house was just the refreshing and rejuvenating space we needed to unwind. The location was easy to find , well-maintained , and spacious . All of the amenities available were perfect to have a fun and wholesome stay. Communication was clear and timely . I would stay again .

what an amazing, breathtaking, beautiful and fun fun fun fun place. so unique so fantastical, like swiss Family Robinson but you know, with WiFi and a kitchen and a fridge but seriously uh-maze-ing

What an amazing AirBNB. Off the beaten track, but so worth to visit. This felt like authentic Costa Rica! Dolly was a lovely soul, who cooked up delicious meals for us. We chose to do the fishing tour through the mangroves with Oscar and his dad. Even though it rained we absolutely loved the experience! The house was just as described, peaceful and tranguil and relatively close to Corcovada NP. If you are looking for a place to stay far away from the crowds, this is the place for you!

Jonathan's place was one of the most amazing stays I've had. The house is wonderful, and the area is beautiful. Jonathan is a fantastic host! He took us horseback riding, on waterfall hikes, and out on his boat to a beautiful, secluded beach and mangrove tour! We could not have asked for a better trip or host. We will definitely be back and would recommend Jonathan’s place to anyone! Thanks so much Jonathan!!

Staying at Ocean Forest is a magical experience. We didn't know much about it when we booked, we took a chance and we had the most wonderful stay. It is a place of rare beauty and harmony. It is a place for people who like to be somewhere remote and private. The cabins are built gorgeously and they are very comfortable in a very simple way. This is not a place for people who want a TV and air conditioning. There is WiFi near the communal area and it works very well. The hosts are wondeful, super kind and accommodating. We felt privileged to be able to spend these few days in the gorgeous place they built and look after. As it is remote, you have the possibility to eat on site and the food is lovely and home made, with lovely fresh products. The atmosphere in the spacious cabin is magical, watching and listening to the nature all around. You can also walk up the hill and watch the most beautiful sunset or watch it from the beach, right there! Even if it is quite remote, all the tours we booked were happy to come and pick us up by boat on the next beach; a 15 min walk across the most beautiful beach and bit of forest. After a couple of weeks being on the road and changing places almost every night, Ocean Forest was the perfect place to pause and regroup for a few days. This was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip and its beauty will stay with me for a long time. Many many thanks to Eli, Monica and Jonathon! x

Dottie, Barb, and Kip were very welcoming. Their place was a paradise. They were easy to talk to willing to help with anything you needed. Everything was just as described. Plus they were walking distance to the bay!!

this is a magical spot. cozy rustic cabin open to the stars and moon at night, you hear the waves always, and if you're lucky you can witness a baby sea turtle release when the hatch! the proper is also a Deserve for Sea Turtles (as how you can help :) ). pack in your food if you don't have a car. they have a great restaurant also at the top of the hill for breakfast and lunch (Bella Vista). so special :)
