Holiday rentals with a patio in Akumal

The apartment has a beautiful view over Half Moon Bay. There are restaurants within walking distance. A large grocery store requires a car, but the kitchen is very well stocked. It is an easy 20 minute walk to the town. The stars from the balcony are amazing!

Host was extremely friendly, responsive, everything was explained well, instructions were clear and easy to understand. There were lots of small details that made the stay easy and relaxing and it felt like home away from home. Definitely recommend this location!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Küche bietet alles was man benötigt. Die gute Qualität widerspiegelt sich in vielen Hinsichten, Rachel ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, es wurden uns viele Angebote und Empfehlungen zur Verfügung und die Lage ist ruhig und schön. Wir haben unsere Zeit in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt bald wieder zurück.

Increible lugar, en la baia de akumal pude nadar con mi pequeña hija con tortugas desde bebes, medianas y hasta enormes, la vista muy bonita, dia o tarde, y de noche el cielo estrellado, lo disfrutamos mucho, solo hay que llegar con todo lo necesario o llevar carro para comprar ya que no hay tiendas cercanas. Muy recomendable para una familia tranquila.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for us, quiet, roomy, with access to both pool and beach. We loved the pool by the beach!! The building complex is great, although the walk to the unit is somewhat long especially when carrying luggage or groceries! We had a car so getting to restaurants and grocery options was easy. Tulum is not far, appx a 20 min drive where there are lots of restaurants and 2 large grocery stores. I would not recommend staying here without a car. Shana and her co-hosts are great, very responsive and friendly, as are the security folks at the entrance. We recommend this location without hesitation and would definitely return if ever back to Akumal.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fanny’s penthouse in Tulum. It was a peaceful, private retreat and a highlight of our trip. The top-floor unit is beautifully designed, stylish, and totally private—it’s the only unit on that level. The rooftop plunge pool and patio were perfect for relaxing, with lovely views. The bed was very comfortable, AC worked great, and the blackout shades let us sleep in. The open-air shower with sunlight and plants felt magical. La Veleta is a charming part of town with great restaurants nearby, though many roads are still unpaved—just something to be aware of. The unit is walk-up only, so expect stairs, but it’s worth it for the privacy and rooftop access. Fanny and Lucas (the concierge) were super responsive and helpful. Honestly, we wish we had stayed here longer and cut a night from our beach stay—it was that good. We’d absolutely love to return in the future. Highly recommend for a quiet, stylish Tulum experience.

le logement est de luxe pour le prix il ne manque de rien nous aimons beaucoup cuisiner en voyage et tout était la même des plats de plastique des essuies tout et des sacs plastiques si vous aimez le snorkeling définitivement le lagon du site est merveilleux ne payer pas pour rien en allant ailleurs même si pour s'y rendre c'est un peu difficile ça vaut le coup Carolyn et Tianna ont donné des conseils super utiles et rapides en voiture vous avez une plénitude de choix d'activités du balcon on a vu des coatis pour la plage il faut savoir quil y a beaucoup de vagues et nous y étions en période de Sargasses donc la partie où nous aurions pu profiter de la plage était peu intéressante la piscine peu profonde sur le toit a une très belle vue et nous a permis des après midi très reposant

A truly perfect experience from beginning to end. I took my mom and a group of her friends here for a 60th celebration and everyone was so blown away. We felt so safe and comfortable the entire time. All of their suggestions were outstanding. Would absolutely recommend and am planning on coming back!

A casa de José é fantástica, cinematográfica. Nós passamos o dia em uma praia e só entramos na casa ja de noite. Mas fomos todas pra piscina e no dia seguinte já saímos da casa. Vale muito a pena ficar nessa locação. José sempre foi muito prestativo.

Erik’s house was very spacious just as described! Erik was very attentive and always responded right away! My children enjoyed the pool during our stay! No problems during our stay!

We had a magical week at Adolfo’s place with our family of 5 adults and 2 kids. The location is spectacular and the kids loved being able to play on the beach and jump in the pool. Early risers will love the sunrise view from the beach. The location itself is an amazing jumping off point to enjoy Akumal (great taco spots in town!), Tulum, and local cenotes and eco parks. We were a bit anxious about not having AC in the main living area but the breeze was beautiful and it allowed us to really embrace indoor/outdoor living. The caretaking staff are wonderful and very helpful - they helped us arrange for massages at the house and kept the property meticulously clean. We also took advantage of Chef Carlos’s services and are so happy we did. The house itself is very comfortable. Showing its age in places but we appreciated it being un-fussy - especially with young kids. The kitchen is well-appointed with dishes but you’ll need to bring your own basic cooking supplies.

She was amazing with response times!! The place was absolutely gorgeous and kept extremely clean. Every morning and afternoon she sent recommendations for food and activities. Very polite and proactive. 10/10 recommend any of her properties.

The very best Airb&b experience to date! Tanya greeted me to a extremely clean place, we'll thought out, safe and private place. I loved the authentic Spanish kitchen and modest bathroom. And how thoughtful of her to provide everything you need to nourish yourself upon arrival and longer. The place is located within walking distance of Super Aki and other stores.Super Aki is a frequent meeting spot for many excursions. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Awesome! Definitivamente el mejor lugar que puedas encontrar en Playa del Carmen, el departamento se sentía como estar en casa, no le hace faltama absolutamente nada, tiene todo, su departamento y las instalaciones de lujo, las amenidades grandiosas, Olivia fue muy atenta y muy amable, caminar a la 5ta avenida era un grandioso paseo, son como 12 minutos, definitivamente regresare! el mejor lugar de Playacar está aquí!

Notre séjour à Akumal est mémorable. Ici on se sent vraiment à la maison. L’emplacement est parfait et directement sur la plage et près de tout pour un séjour confortable, tranquille et simple. Les hôtes sont TRÈS soutenants et accommodants. Ils répondent toujours vites à toutes nos questions sur la vie locale. Ils nous ont permis de laissé notre voiture une nuit gratuitement dans le stationnement alors que nous sommes partis en expédition.

Amazing apartment with a private + rooftop pool!! I enjoyed getting up every morning and being surrounded by nature

Chris and Lena were dedicated and responsive hosts whose apartment is frankly a bargain. It's well-designed, well-maintained, and in a beautiful complex with great amenities. Equally important, they were available to quickly answer questions that came up during our stay. I'd recommend their place to anyone who wants a peaceful place to stay in Tulum.

Was soll ich sagen? Alles perfekt! Alles war wie im Text und auf den Bildern versprochen wurde. Dazu die sichere und schöne Umgebung von Puerto Aventuras. Überall freundliche Menschen aus unterschiedlichen Ländern, leckeres Essen in vielen Restaurants, wir haben es geliebt. Als Gastgeber war Andres perfekt, alle unsere Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet. So haben wir unseren entspannten Urlaub in Mexiko genossen! Wir kommen wieder.

Alles im allem eine super Unterkunft - sauber, wie im Inserat und gute Lage. Allerdings war die Kommunikation nicht so gut. Bitten, wie Z.b. neue Handtücher wurden zwar zugesagt im Chat, aber wir haben nach langem warten nie etwas erhalten. Insgesamt würde ich trotzdem 4,5/5 geben. An der Kommunikation sollte wirklich gearbeitet werden!

We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs, and this one was the best one yet—such a high value for a low price. Camille and Edir were phenomenal hosts; Edir especially met us in person a few times and was so amazing and gave above-and-beyond service. The apartment itself is incredibly beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos, but feels even more spacious than the photos. I was so impressed with the laundry service, daily housekeeping and beautiful pool right on the beach. This stay was an enormous value!!! Thank you Edir and Camille!!
