Thank you very much for a great two days with your family. Great host, great authentic place to stay. If you want to have a nice time near Petra, we definitely recommend. They even cooked a great meal for us for an additional fee and were willing to prepare a very early breakfast in the form of packages so we could go to Petra as soon as possible. Our 2 year old daughter was extremely excited about the other children and adults in the house. Great place ❤️ Thanks!

We stayed in the Zimmer for a couple vacation. The place was clean and ready for us. There was a bottle of wine, milk and cold water waiting for us in the fridge. The room itself is cozy and suitable for a couple with a small kitchenette for light meals, a luxurious bed and a double shower with hot hot water. The yard is very beautiful and private with a heated pool that was suitable for the cool winter days. Eti the host was available for any questions and gave recommendations and links to hiking and restaurant pamphlets in the area. We had wonderful time and would love to come back.

Mohammad's camp is a friendly place in a peaceful location where you are made to feel right at home and very well looked after. It's popular with Jordanians as well as tourists which is always a good sign! Mohammad created an experience for us which included spending time with a Bedouin family, visiting his own family in the village, a day shepherding goats in the mountains and a four-day hike to Petra, wild camping in stunning locations along the way. Mohammad was on hand throughout to make sure we had everything we needed, and the whole thing was very well organised. His brother Suleiman who guided us was a brilliant guide and we left with a feeling of having had a very special opportunity to learn first-hand about the way of life in the area, as well as loads of fun. Mohammad recommended a different route to Petra rather than the usual Jordan Trail and it was incredibly beautiful. Would absolutely recommend. Massive thanks to Mohammad and Suleiman for the great time we had.

Mohammad and his family are wonderful hosts, they were very caring for me, and kindly involved me in meeting their family & friends, and sharing their Eid celebration meal. He also gave me time & space whenever I wanted it. My bedroom was very clean, with a fantastic hard mattress and the en suite had a power shower, ideal to wash away the days dirt & sand!! I will be recommending staying with Mohammad to my closest friends and loved ones, as I know they would be well cared for.

I had an amazing time staying at Qasim’s place during my stay in Petra! Once you make it to the Petra Visitor Centre, you can take the free shuttle bus (behind the Petra Visitor museum) to get to Little Petra. Afterward, it’s a 20 minute walk to get to the small town that this Airbnb is in. It’s a very private and comfortable space! You’d be staying at a guesthouse at his property, behind a gated fence. If you’re packing light, you can use his washing machine as well. He’s quick to respond and can help you if you have any questions with navigating Petra. You can take the back entrance to Petra via a jeep truck at the entrance to Little Petra for 5JOD (about $7 USD), and the experience that way is a lot better than the normal route that everyone goes through (via the visitor centre). Just be prepared to hike a good amount! If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll be staying at Qasim’s place :)

We loved staying here and Attallah was a wonderful host. We had a delicious dinner with him (that he prepared himself) our first night and he gave us very honest and helpful advice for traveling to Petra and Little Petra. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean. He also went out and got us a special goat milk drink fresh made by the neighbors because we expressed interest in trying it. Great experience!

We stayed at Gail’s place for two nights while visiting Petra and she was just an amazing host! The bedroom is super cosy and well equipped with a super nice private bathroom. The house is located on the hill few minutes drive from the Petra entrance. Gail made us a beautiful and plentiful breakfast to-go and we had a lovely picnic in the breathtaking spot in Petra. Overall a fantastic experience and would recommend it!
