A Raton's House é um espaço de acolhimento e tranquilidade no término sul de Aldeia de João Pires, na rota das Aldeias Históricas de Portugal. Com um olival de 5.000 m2 à volta, murado, é a síntese de aldeia e campo. Ali podem brincar crianças sem o risco de correr para a estrada. A casa tem dois quartos, duas casas de banho, duas salas e fora um telheiro revestido a hera. Tem 3 aparelhos de ar condicionado e acomoda até 4 pessoas. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Our Chalet is located on a 3-hectare fenced farm, located within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. A calm and tranquil place where you can enjoy nature and observe the local fauna, through walks through the pine forest, or choose to follow the stream to its source. You can also relax in our pool. Ideal for relaxing with family or friends. We accept all animals. The farm, Chalet, garden and swimming pool are for the exclusive use of the guests.

The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).
