Holiday rentals with lake access in Ålesund

We had a wonderful stay! The house is fantastically located in a beautiful and peaceful environment—perfect for relaxing and exploring the area. We did a great day trip to the Vestkapp, which was absolutely worth it. Lina was very responsive and helpful when we needed some assistance. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time in this wonderful home in Flo. We really loved staying out in a small community instead of in the town of Stryn. The views and hiking straight out of the cabin were so amazing that most of us simply wanted to stay there the first day and not go into Stryn. (But my mother-in-law wanted to go out to dinner, so we did.)

Anne’s unique and historic home was perfect! She is responsive, helpful, kind, and just a wonderful host. The house has such a fun history and it was very cozy, especially the back room. The town itself is quiet in the best way and everyone was friendly. Great location in close driving distance to Stryn, Loen, Geiranger. Thank you, Anne, for all your hospitality! I’d come again!

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. We liked the place very much and we can only recommend it. The large window front and the views of water and mountains are really great. We enjoyed it every day. The place is spacious, nicely decorated and it was clean. Communication went mostly well. Miriam was very friendly. We felt very comfortable and would come back.

This was our first visit to the Norway; traveling from North Carolina, USA. Åshild's place was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful and clean. Perfect location for exploring the area. She was the perfect host, there if we needed her but not intrusive. We'd stay here again if we're ever back in the area. Highly recommend.

Host was super helpful, responsive with a clean apartment, all the necessity, gorgeous views of fjords and town. Worth the stay and recommened! On a lovely street to walk with a museum park at one end. Thanks heaps!

A lovely apartment, right on the water with incredible views. The art work in the apartment was really great- lots of Norwegian artists, like a mini museum. Easy walk to the city center. Kiwi Market for groceries was close by. There's an excellent Indian restaurant, Rasoi Ålesund, nearby that we really enjoyed. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend it for your time in Ålesund.

Great place for a family holiday. the house has amazing views over the Fjord and mountains. so many activities in the area, such as hiking, via Ferrata, Skylift, Zip lining, and water activities. Our host Haldor was very friendly and a great help, he arranged 2 excursions for us, fishing and a visit to his family farm. the house is clean, spacious, well equipped with all modern amenities, and has a great location close to many attractions in Norway, such as Geiranger, Trollstigen, and many more. I would definitely recommend this place for a large family.

Kristin is warm, super friendly and proactive. Made us feel right at home :) House is nicely curated and has everything you need. Just 15 mins from the city centre, gives best of the both worlds - peaceful and yet all the places are easily accessible.

We had a lovely stay at Eddie's cabin. We had plenty of space, a beautiful view, & everything we needed. The cabin is quietly situated in a valley close to the most amazing mountain & fjord scenery. It is a calm & tranquil place to return to after a day in the mountains. Hope to return one day.
