Cottage holiday rentals in Aljezur

Un paradís aïllat excepcional. Vam estar-hi allotjats una setmana per visitar l’Algarve i vam estar-hi en parella i amb la nostra gosseta que va estar-hi encantada. La Silvia ens va facilitar les instruccions per arribar correctament a la casa (no seguir el gps). El lloc és molt tranquil, aïllat i s’hi arriba per un camí de terra aplanat entre vinyes. La casa és de fusta i molt grossa i espaiosa. Té una terrassa grossa tancada ideal per estar-s’hi llegint o jugant a jocs de taula. La casa està ben acabada i aïllada i té mosquiteres a totes les finestres. La cuina està molt ben equipada amb tots els utensilis i alguns ingredients bàsics. El jardí és ampli amb una piscina molt neta, de la qual la Silvia se n’ocupa diariament sense molestar. La Silvia ens ha facilitat qualsevol necessitat i n’estem molt contents; repetiriem l’estada sense dubte.

Claire’s home is cozy and comfortable, with everything you need to make you feel at home. The garden is absolutely amazing, a little corner of paradise. We also enjoyed the little bar and shop that is only 3 minutes walk from the house. The closest beach is only 8 minutes drive, Lagos 25 minuets, etc. We recommend parking the car down the street as it’s not so easy to drive in and out if you don’t have experience with driving on narrow streets that go up and down :p.

Fijne plek met een waanzinnig mooi strand in de buurt. Huis is fijn met veel plekjes om het huis om altijd in de zon of schaduw te kunnen zitten. Ook fijn dat de ruimte om het huis is afgeschermd met begroeiing en een hek ( ivm kleine kids). huis voelde heel schoon en met zorg ingericht. fijn aankomen met lichtjes aan en wat te drinken in de koelkast, ruim genoeg handdoeken en overal fijne geur en zeep etc. Heerlijk vertoeven in de hangmat en op de veranda. maar het adembenemende strand zo dichtbij het huis was echt het allerbeste.

Casa May is an idyllic place . The house is set in a beautiful garden which merges into the surrounding bush. Set about a kilometre from the main road , it epitomises peace and quiet.

Gostamos muito da estadia em casa do Carlos. O Carlos é um excelente anfitrião sempre disponível para ajudar e muito fácil de comunicar. A aldeia de Hortas de Tabual está rodeada de natureza e muito calma e tranquila. Localiza se perto de algumas praias. A casa está bem equipada e tem um excelente acesso à internet e um duche com pressão e bem quente. A cozinha está muito bem equipada apenas faltaram copos de vinho (que tenho a certeza que o Carlos nos resolvia facilmente) e o frigorífico podia ter mais potência de frio para as cervejas 😇 Gostamos muito e voltaremos a repetir

Foi ótimo ter a possibilidade de passar uns dias no monte das buganvilias! A Isabel e a Madalena são pessoas muito acolhedoras e que criaram um espaço que revela isso mesmo! Espero ter a possibilidade de regressar novamente!

Beautiful house with a fantastic sea view. Laura’s house is ideal for a family stay. Very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend to others.

Rented for 3 months while I moved from the UK to Monchique. Ze was very helpful and responsive when I had a couple of problems during the stay. Ze had things all sorted for me within a very short space of time.

Had a lovely stay in Marta’s beautiful apartment! Was very clean and had everything I needed. Loved the private terrace, perfect to sit outside and enjoy my morning coffee. Thanks Marta!

Patrick was the best and most helpful host. We were a group of five girls and one of the tyres on our hire car burst about ten minutes’ drive away from the pickup point; Patrick was quick to help us, drove to our location, transported all our bags and two of us to the Airbnb while the others waited for roadside assistance, and then picked up the rest of the group. He let us have food free of charge. He drove us and all our bags to a nearby cafe in the morning to meet our taxi. He was extremely responsive and helpful. The Airbnb itself was tranquil and set in beautiful surroundings; the bedrooms and bathroom were spotless. My only recommendation would be to pack some mosquito spray as there were a few around, but not many. Overall an exceptional experience and reception. Thank you Patrick!

A dona irene foi muito simpática, a casa muito limpa num local muito tranquilo e tivemos direito a um bolinho à chegada! Os nossos cães foram muito felizes e adoramos a nossa estadia!

Judite's place was very charming and had an amazing view. It was very peaceful and had everthing you needed. We didnt rent a car but used Uber, taxis and the local bus to get to neighbouring towns and even a day trip to the little fishing town Alvor. Judite responded quickly to all our queries before and during our trip. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Lavender cottage.

Fuimos 3 amigas a pasar dos noches y estuvimos muy a gusto!! Está muy cerca de Arrifana, la playa más resguardada del viento y de las más bonitas. Está decorado con mucho gusto y muy limpio!! La comunicación fue genial y como el primer día llegábamos antes del check in nos permitieron dejar equipaje y nos dieron unas toallas para poder ir a la playa!! La cesta de bienvenida es simplemente genial, nos gustó tanto la mermelada de fresa que quisimos comprarla. Como era casera no fue posible, pero Sonia nos dejó un botecito extra!!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Catarina war sehr freundlich und hatte viele tolle Tipps für uns und Marina vor Ort war unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam – sie hat es uns wirklich an nichts fehlen lassen. Das Haus wurde täglich von sehr freundlichem Personal gereinigt und selbst der Abwasch wurde übernommen, wenn er mal liegen blieb – ein echter Wohlfühlservice! Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen und waren verliebt in die ruhige, kraftvolle Natur um uns herum. Von den anderen Gästen in den Nachbarhäusern haben wir kaum etwas mitbekommen. Der nahegelegene Strand ist traumhaft schön und war im Mai angenehm ruhig. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

This is a fabulous place to stay, a great rural location near Rogil but close to amazing beaches and a quick drive to Aljezur... the apartments are spotless, beautifully decorated with perfect light and amazing views over the countryside. The pool is a bonus and is perfect for relaxing. We stayed with our 2 children and would definitely stay again!

Staying at Joana’s place was absolutely wonderful! She is such a lovely host and gave us great tips for exploring the area. The apartment had everything we could have wished for, it was perfectly equipped and incredibly cozy. Most of all, it was wonderfully peaceful - the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We felt right at home and would love to come back. Thank you, Joana, for everything!

This was our second stay at the accommodation (in a different house now), just as the last time it was marvellous. The location is wonderful, in between nature

We really enjoyed our stay at Nuno's place - the house is small but has everything you need including a good selection of pots & pans to make our own meals & lots of nice home-made touches. Nuno even gave us some homemade soap his partner made. The place is about 15/20 minutes drive to Arrifana in one direction and Amado beach in the other, so a good in-between spot. The only small fault was that there is nowhere to hold the shower head when having a shower, so it was hard to wash my hair with one hand, and could do with better pillows, but overall a really nice place to stay. Oh and one more thing - the door and mezzanine are quite low, so if you are tall bear that in mind, my partner ended up banging his head a few times!

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt und die Strandnähe und ruhige Lage sehr genossen. Besonders gut hat uns die nach Westen ausgerichtete Terasse gefallen, wo wir die Abendsonne in vollen Zügen genießen konnten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
