The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Come and stay in our very pretty house "Havana". 50m² with terrace of 60m² facing south and without vis-à-vis. Recently redecorated, it is next to the covered market and just a 10-minute walk from the city center. Very cozy, the house consists of a living room with large open and fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with its private walk-in shower room, separate toilet. You will be seduced by its location at the end of a cul-de-sac which makes it a peaceful place close to nature, by its many terraces which will allow you to enjoy the shade or the sun depending on your mood, and by its geographical location in the heart of the Chaîne des Puys and very close to the Massif du Sancy, Clermont-Ferrand and the Zenith. Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. At our place, you'll find a rustic veggie garden and free-roaming animals like two nice pigs, lovely chickens, ducks, rabbits, and our two cats, named Panthera and Chaudchat.
