Apartment holiday rentals in Ameland

We had a very nice weekend on Ameland. The Airbnb is easily accessible from the boat by bus, the bus stops exactly in front of the apartment building. Check-in went smoothly and the apartment looked neat and clean. Glad it was on the ground floor with a terrace. We sometimes heard the upstairs neighbors, but did not experience any real inconvenience from this. The sofa bed was easy to unfold. We used bicycles to cycle to the beach and the center with restaurants was within walking distance. Super nice place to stay and plenty to do in the area. Its recommended to rent electric bikes to get around the island!

We felt very comfortable. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures and was very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, we did not read that we had to bring our own bed linen and towels. However, we were able to borrow this from Antonia for a fee. Clear recommendation for this place.

For a large beach volleyball tournament that is held annually on the beach in Hollum, we had booked this beautiful apartment for 3 nights. We arrived earlier and were already able to enter the house via the key in the key box. Everything was super clean, the rooms spacious and one of the bathrooms even had a jacuzzi. The house is also within walking distance of all the restaurants in the village and in 5 min cycling you are on the beach. Next year we will be back anyway😃

The house is really good, amazing ameneties, I would expected having bed linen and towels(offered at 12.50 pp), but other than that the place, house and host were great, clean and the atmosphere is amazing

We had a lovely long weekend here. Quiet, clean place. Blown away with our little dog on Ameland. And this sleeping place was all we needed. Nice shower, peace, TV, fridge, cooking facilities, sitting comfortably! Small but very nice!!

It was quick and easy communication. We had a very relaxing and beautiful holiday in the beautiful accommodation. It was all we described. :)

There were four of us (children 2 and 7 years old) on vacation here. The apartment is well equipped, located in a quiet hotel complex. The highlight of every day was the swimming pool! You're there in a minute, just great for kids! The surroundings are magical, Hollum is a wonderful little place and the sea is of course unsurpassed. You can park the car and bicycles right outside the door. All in all highly recommended!

The apartment is located in a larger apartment complex, but is still very quiet and private. Great is that you can use all the facilities of the hotel such as swimming pool, ping pong table, restaurant, etc. Especially if the weather isn't so good, it's convenient. The apartment itself is beautiful and practical. The stairs are very steep and with smaller children you would have to be very careful. Great is that there is a barrier at the top of the staircase. The location is beautiful. You can walk past the golf course directly to the highest dune of Ameland and continue to the beach. Hollum with its restaurants and shops is also within walking distance, the lighthouse is also easily accessible. Perfect! And Marga is a great hostess. We were even allowed to check in to the apartment earlier. Thank you, we'd love to come back!

It was a great getaway. The accommodation was super clean, very nicely furnished and very quiet. The kitchen was super equipped. There is a bike rental just around the corner, so the apartment is the perfect starting point to explore the island :)

With 3 of us, we enjoyed the beautiful air b&b of Jojanneke! Received clear instructions in advance and we were warmly welcomed. Apartment looks neat, hip decorated and immediately felt like coming home. Right in the center of the beautiful city Dokkum! What is also nice: There is a ticket with a city walk ready and discount for various other (fun!) entrepreneurs in Dokkum.

As described, lovely place to stay for couple of days exploring Hollum. The stairs upstairs as really steep, my kids are 10/12 and managed ok…. Really young kids may struggle. Very comfortable, and would recommend to others.

Nice place in a nice village. Rent a few bikes and visit the beach, take a horse ride and eat. Great weekend getaway.

Beautiful and spacious apartment in a great location! We rented bicycles at Camping Duinoord, which was a 150 m walk. There is also a supermarket with fresh bread. In short; highly recommended stay!!!

We were super satisfied. The accommodation was clean and met our requirements. Communication with Ronald was great. Very friendly and helpful. We would recommend him as a host. We had really great days with friends on the island.

for people who want to break from the everyday it is perfect!! We two families of 7,we decided to spend Christmas at Greta. A wise decision!! Everything is superlative,and all three bedrooms each with private bathroom is the highlight!! Thank you Greta and will definitely see you again.

We had a wonderful time last weekend! Unfortunately, the weather was not optimal all the time, spending time in the chalet was absolutely no punishment for this reason. Upon entering, it smells wonderfully clean, living area more than spacious enough for six people. We will definitely book with the same landlord again in the future. Thank you very much for the quick communication and the service provided.

Nice little house to stay for a few days! We liked the living room and the little garden to catch some sun in the morning!

The stay in Imke's apartment was very relaxing. The quiet location and the beautiful landscape of Ameland with fine beach, wind, dunes, many birds and very nice residents is highly recommended. The apartment, in which you can easily live as a couple with one or two younger children, is furnished for self-catering. All cabinets and drawers are very practical and space-saving and contain everything for basic needs. If you spend a lot of time outside, the space is sufficient. The bathroom with bathtub is spacious.

The contact was via Eveline and was very nice. She was understanding of our situation, in which we could not be present the first day. Despite the fact that we could not officially get any money back, Eveline still gave us some money back. The accommodation is pleasant, large windows overlooking the nature. The location is beautiful and there is much to do. Recommended!

Second time staying and we really enjoyed our stay with our small dog. We cannot travel abroad by plane with him so this is a great option to have holiday together. Nice quiet location just outside the village but still very close-by for supermarket and cafes. Easy access for a walk to the beach and to the dunes. Lots of rabbits jumping around. The swimming pool is an added bonus for the rainy days. We loved there, people are very friendly everywhere we go. Thank you for having us, we hope to return.
