Apartment holiday rentals in Andersonville, Chicago

Very quiet street right next to the action in Andersonville. Front porch is a nice bonus. We made separate driving trips to the Loop, Pilsen and Evanston -- easy access to Lake Shore Dr. But the train is convenient from this place too.

Loved the place! We had a few kids with us and were concerned on space. With the bed pulled out and made from the sofa (by the owners) we had plenty of space still. They provided a bathtub for the shower for the little ones, kids utensils and plates, pack and play and sound machines. It got a little chilly but the space heater they had worked just fine for the entire apartment! Only minor complaint was the initial smell when walking in, I know it’s common in older places around Chicago (the apartment itself was extremely clean and tidy) and once we were there for 5 mins we got used to it. The neighborhood itself was great with free street parking! Got lucky and was able to get a spot close by each time we left/came back. Overall a great experience and we would stay here again.

I had a wonderful time at the apartment! It is close to both the Edgewater and Andersonville neighborhoods with great fun coffee shops, shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood is very lovely, I enjoyed my daily walks. I used the L twice, it’s very walkable to Thorndale station. The apartment was tastefully decorated and there were many amenities that were not listed in the description. I felt I had everything I needed to feel at home and I did!

Apartment was very nice and well-appointed! Beds were comfy and furnishings were great. Kitchen was beautiful as well. Anything we needed was provided, so we had no need to make any additional requests. We were visiting family nearby and able to walk anywhere we needed to. Bus stop (we went to Wrigley Field) was also close and very handy. We love the Andersonville neighborhood! Would definitely come back to this beautiful apartment. Thank you, Daniel!

My wife, son and daughter stayed at Tim's place when son ran the Chicago half-marathon. Tim was one of the best AirBNB hosts ever. He left my family a personal welcome note and let them in early from their morning flight. The space was immaculate, very charming, and super comfortable. Chicago neighborhoods can be dicey. This felt totally safe day and night. I was unable to come last minute due to work. My wife wants us to return together for a romantic weekend. A great experience in every way. Thank you!

I have stayed in various Chicago neighborhoods over the past two years, and found Mark's space to be the best overall deal in terms of space, location, amenities, and access to the city. You can't beat a 20-minute walk to the lake! I greatly appreciated Mark's responsiveness throughout the week when I had questions, and would recommend his space to anyone visiting Chicago.

Our stay at Philip’s place was wonderful! Incredibly comfortable bed, quiet and the perfect set up with washer/dryer, kitchen set up, etc. Communication and flexibility were top notch and made the stay so easy and comfortable. Very friendly interactions with hosts while onsite and would definitely stay here again!

This is a charming and very comfortable unit. All the amenities are thoughtful and more generous than most other AirBNBs that I’ve stayed. We found the location very convenient to family and Northwestern U, and even getting downtown. The unit was spotless, clean and organized. And exceeded our expectations. Being able to park in the garage was a huge benefit for us. We had a busy schedule with leaving in the morning and not getting back until later evening. It was so nice not to have to search for street parking and not have that worry. We very much enjoyed our stay. This will be our “place” when we return. Elizabeth

I had a great stay. The apartment was so comfortable and welcoming. The location was perfect-- steps from public transportation and tons of restaurants. The hosts were very nice and quick to respond to my questions. Would totally recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at The Cozy Nest. The host, Joan, was personable, a fast communicator, and committed to ensuring we had a great stay. Since we flew into Chicago before check in, she held our luggage and then made an effort to get us in as soon as possible. The apartment was super clean and only a five minute walk to the CTA red line. If you want to explore the city and not deal with parking, this is a great option. We visited many sites including Millennium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago Wrigley Field, the Shedd Aquarium, and Willis Tower, all accessible from the red line. There’s also a nice market just down the street, and restaurants in the area. We would stay here again on our next trip to Chicago! Thank you, Joan!

Spacious, well designed railroad apartment in a beautiful neighbourhood, everything you need and very easy check in and out. Recommended!

Hubby and I were in Chicago for 5 nights to visit our son. The studio was the perfect environment to return to at the end of each day and we very much enjoyed our stay. It is clean, stylish and very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe when out walking. There are numerous good restaurants and stores that are within walking distance, and we were able to easily secure ride-share when needed. Nick was a great communicator and was always quick to respond to questions. Also he was very kind and accommodated our late afternoon flight and request for a late checkout. Would definitely stay here again.

Great, large apartment with character in an amazing neighborhood right across from a school and playground. Lots of food and coffee options nearby.

Mark’s place is clean, cozy and has all the amenities. It is close to many bus lines, a CTA station and a wholefoods. I was able to make simple meals while walking to other cool neighborhoods and commuting to downtown and to Evanston from there. There is some room for improvement for better soundproofing in the ceiling, but that didn’t bother me that much. Mark is also prompt in responding to messages and addressing concerns. 5 stars!

We came for our daughter’s graduation and stayed a few extra days to tour the city. This place was perfectly located for both occasions. It was much more spacious than we expected, and everything was very clean. We especially appreciated the fresh towels and beddings. Our only wish is that the beds were a bit larger, especially the double bed, which would be more comfortable for a couple if it were at least a queen size. That said, the beds were very comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay - definitely one of our best Airbnb experiences!

Freddy was a great host. Always available when I had questions. The place was roomy (we had 4 adults) and clean.

We stayed with my family for 3 days n loved the place it's ambience, cleanliness, very well equipped with all the necessities.....this place definitely feels like home and the hosts are very kind and quick with there response. Wherever in future I am coming to chicago shall book this place.

David and his co-host were excellent. Our family enjoyed our stay. We used to live in the Bronzeville area and love the new additions to the neighborhood. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

SPECTACULAR!! This space is how you should visit Chicago. Breath taking views from this 33rd floor luxury penthouse apartment lives up to the hype. Our family of six were extremely comfortable in this 3 bedroom/3 bath unit. And for a person that likes cooking, the kitchen is spacious. Don’t pass on seeing Chicago from the views in this beautiful apartment.

Stay was great and Mariam was a super host. The space was exactly as pictured and all the games were a blast. Miriam even checked in a couple times to make sure we had everything we need and that we were having a good time. For sure would stay here again.
