This was our 3rd (or 4th!) stay at the Cottesloe Beach Shack. Gorgeous stay as always, Rebecca super helpful and we just love this place. Super dog friendly with lots of space for everyone. The recent renovations and updates are gorgeous, including the new outdoor space - we can't wait to get back to use it in some warmer weather! Look forward to getting back again soon.

Beautiful house to stay at! We all had the best time and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Heaps of room for the kids to run around and burn their energy. Great place to stay for a family holiday we had 11 of us in the house and we al had our own space and heaps of room to have dinner and watch movies all together.

I recently stayed at a stunning hillside Airbnb, and it was nothing short of magical. Nestled on a quiet, private hill, the property offered the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. The views from the house were absolutely breathtaking—lush greenery surrounded the area, and every morning I was greeted with the sound of birds chirping and the peaceful sight of the sun rising over the hills. The home itself was beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. It felt cozy yet spacious, with large windows that allowed natural light to pour in and provide panoramic views of the landscape. I loved the outdoor space, which included a private deck perfect for sipping coffee while watching the sunset. What truly set this Airbnb apart, though, was the sense of tranquility. The only sounds were the breeze and nature, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring everything was in place

Beautiful, clean space the owner even left us a bottle of wine. Felt right at home, definitely recommend if your two couples looking to get outta Melbourne for the weekend

Owen’s place was spotless, as described and within walking distance to the beach, cafes and the main area of Torquay. The place was perfect for my husband, puppy and I. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Simon and Mella’s home was absolutely perfect for our family wedding weekend. The house was ideal for three families and our grandchildren loved the games and trampoline. The house well equipped and had everything (and more) than we could have asked for. The views were magnificent and the surrounds were so very peaceful. Time in the hammock and looking out to the ocean is a must if you stay at 180 Vista! Simon and Mella responded immediately to any questions l had and were extremely accommodating with check in times. We spent a long weekend at Jennie’s house and would highly recommend. It rained the entire weekend so we weren’t able to make use of the top north facing deck or the lower pool deck but we lit the fire, settled in and had such a relaxing time. There is a really good coffee machine which meant we didn’t even have to venture out for coffee! We loved it on a wet winter weekend so I can only imagine how great it would be on a warm sunny weekend.

Awesome place for my family to stay. Booked for my wife’s 60th birthday, to have the two of us, our 3 kids, their partners, 4 grandkids and one dog in one amazing property was absolutely wonderful. The property was immaculate and the description was absolutely accurate. Local shops a short 10 minute drive away to Rye. Would gladly book again. Steve & Amelia…

We had a great long weekend away at Chris’ property. The house had plenty of space for us all with amazing views despite the wet weather of the weekend. We were kept warm and dry with the wood fire and heaters in all bedrooms. Would highly recommend and stay again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Ems. Fab home, and we had a card waiting for us with lots of other lovely treats! Brekky, bread, wine. The best bit is the outdoor bath and the view from the little terrace. Em was lovely and very responsive. Thanks for making our anniversary special!

A great beach getaway in the perfect secluded location. Close to Anglesea but not too close to deal with the busy crowds. Amazing beach location and house has every amenity you could need and wish for. The spa and log fireplace was a special!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how impeccably clean and well-presented everything was. Every detail has been carefully thought through, from the amenities to the lovely little touches around the home that made our stay extra special. It was the perfect winter escape for our family, cosying up by the fireplace was a highlight. The communication with Sarah was seamless, friendly and responsive. We’re already dreaming about another visit in summer so we can make the most of the pool and outdoor areas. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly, an absolute gem!

If you’re looking for a house to relax and unwind, this could be the one for you! The house was warm and homily, and delivered some amazing sunrises / sunset views, all whilst relaxing in the spacious upstairs lounge. The house was clean throughout, and large enough to accommodate our group of friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Peggy is a great host, super responsive and even provided some complimentary wine to welcome us. Cheers to that!

Amazing place to stay at for the weekend! Glenys was extremely friendly, gave lots of recommendations and was very accomodating. The accomodation was super clean, backyard was awesome for my dog and the hot tub was great. Would highly recommend!

Such a beautiful homely space! Was so cosy and a beautiful lay out! Could enjoy the deck even when it rained. Only thing in would’ve loved to know no heating/air con/fans in the bedroom but was really fantastic

Thanks so much! We had a wonderful stay at the Top of the Otways. We came for the "Run Forrest" event in nearby Forrest, originally only booking for two nights, only later realising it was actually a long weekend. We reached out about extending the stay for an extra night and Katie and Max were super helpful and accommodating, it was no trouble at all. Katie and Max are awesome hosts, keeping us stocked up with fire wood during a super wet and cold weekend. The house is super cozy, comfortable, peaceful and quiet. About an hour after checkout we received a message to say that we'd left behind some belongings and kids jackets 🤦. Katie and Max offered to post them out to us when we couldn't turn back. Thanks again legends, we greatly appreciate your hospitality and that you went the extra mile for us. All the best ✌️

Staying at this converted barn was truly a step back in time, with every room offering its own distinct charm and character. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the larger design elements down to the smallest touches, making our stay absolutely delightful. Heather was incredibly welcoming, ensuring that our large group felt comfortable and well cared for throughout our visit. Her hospitality and willingness to assist whenever needed made all the difference. This beautiful airbnb is one we’ll definitely be returning to, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay.

Min & Cameron were the most welcoming hosts; always incredibly warm & quick to respond to my (sometimes late-night) questions. Their place was just what our group wanted. The beds were super comfy & the kitchen a dream, ideal for whipping up our amazing Saturday Mexican feast. We loved the communal vibe, from shared cooking & meals to balcony breakfasts overlooking the rolling Otways. Watching the kookaburras, galahs & wattlebirds feast on protea flowers (binoculars provided!) was a daily highlight. Yet, despite the open spaces, cosy nooks offered plenty of peaceful "me-time." We also had a blast with table tennis tournaments, chilling on the couches & card games into the wee hours by the fireplace! This home is super cosy & absolutely perfect for friends seeking a hassle-free escape from the everyday hustle. A huge thanks to Min and Cameron for sharing their lovely home with us!

We had a lovely stay in this Airbnb. We definitely will put this place on the top of our list when we stay in Torquay again. The unit was much bigger in person than it appeared in the photos. Was such a pleasant stay. The hosts communicated very well and were extremely flexible.
