Apartment holiday rentals in Angra do Heroísmo

This was a good stay during my stopover in the Azores. It was very close to the airport, and just a short walk from the beach, yet somehow also managed to be in a quiet neighborhood across from a park.

The studio is very new and nicely done, tasteful decor and a comfortable bed. We didn‘t realize it was part of a hostel until we got there. It didn‘t change anything, since the studio also has a private entrance. The living room/kitchen area is kind of sparse and dark, but the bedroom is lovely. The location is convenient to walk downtown.

Our 7-day stay at Fernando’s place in the Villa was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, Fernando and his entire family—including his lovely kids, in-laws, and extended family—welcomed us with warmth and kindness that truly made us feel at home. The villa itself is tucked away in a beautifully quaint and idyllic location, offering the perfect mix of peace and charm. Yet, it’s also incredibly convenient—just a quick 15-minute drive to the center of town. It gave us the best of both worlds: serenity and easy access to everything we needed. Fernando went above and beyond as a host. He thoughtfully provided us with a curated list of the best tourist attractions in Terceira, along with recommendations for top local restaurants. His suggestions added so much value to our trip—we discovered hidden gems we never would have found on our own. If we return to Terceira (which we hope to!), we will absolutely love to stay here again.

We were thrilled with the location of the apartment near the ocean and restaurants. The apartment was clean and welcoming. The host was readily available to answer all of our questions. I would highly recommend.

For a month, A Casinha became my home - and what a cute, comfortable, and peaceful home it was! The house has a spacious two-story backyard and is located on a small but beautiful street in Angra do Heroísmo. Restaurants are just a 5-minute walk away, and everything quickly felt very familiar. Having two free parking areas just 5–6 minutes away on foot was a big plus- I could always find an available spot! I highly recommend this place if you’re planning to stay on this beautiful island. Whether it’s just for a weekend or a whole month like me, A Casinha is a wonderful choice!

The apartment has all the necessary amenities to spend a few days on the island. The location is excellent, it has a space to leave the car and is 5 minutes away from the airport. Since the island is small, everything is fairly close. The helpfulness of both Sonia and Paulo was spectacular, the apartment was clean, tidy and even had some breakfast options like coffee and tea. The location is quiet and has a small terrace where you can have breakfast outdoors. It's been a fantastic few days, although unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate as much as we would have liked.

We had a great time at the house. Proteprty is pretty new and well kept. Hugo was very responsive, AC works great and has a dehumidify option which came in super handy since we stayed for almost 3 months in the winter. location is nice, a few minutes walk to the ocean. 2 bars down there and 2 restaurants (vista has great picanha and buzius has great seafood dishes) so it's nice when you don't feel like driving everywhere:) House is located in a very quiet area with friendly naighbours:) i had a great time there and would definitely recommend.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. There is an extreme amount of space, you can look directly at the sea from the balcony and everything you could need is really available. You can park on the property for free. Various restaurants and supermarkets can be reached quickly by car.

Our time in Biscoitos was great. Luis is an excellent and very helpful host. The apartment had everything we needed. We will definitely return to Terceira and to Biscoitos.

Very good location to uncover the town, nice and friendly welcome and care, clean good appartment. Clothes dryer was not there, but line to hang your clothes in a small garden.

Paula has been an excellent host, she is super nice and provided us with whatever we needed. The house is nice and cozy, and it's very easy to find and well located. If you rent a car, you can park in front of the house and get to anywhere in less than 30 minutes. I 100% would recommend this place.

It was really pleasurable to come at senhora Hélia and senhor Victor place with my friends because they were the best hosts that we had in our lives: really helpful, really understanding, really welcoming and really kind. They stayed to explain us all tips & tricks of the island in the first day, they gave us to taste some local made products and helped us whenever they could. I want to point out that I was feeling sick at some point and senhor Victor took me to the hospital, which I respect and appreciate a lot! Also after check out he left us at the airport by car and made sure we finished our journey happy and satisfied. 10 out of 10, the best stay in Terceira Island, the best hosts in the entire world and I suggest this accomodation to everyone 😊!

If you’re looking for a place that is clean, comfortable, spacious and within walking distance to most everything you need- then Silvia’s place is definitely for you!! Also , the bed, was unbelievably fantastic! Awesome place !

I highly recommend Fabiola and Antonio’s place. It is in a great location minuets from the beach. The supermarket and two excellent restaurants nearby Quebra Mar and Beira Mar means you are not having to travel far. The apartment was spotless with absolutely everything you would need. It sleeps up to six and I had the whole place to myself. Great views of the ocean, what’s not to love. Thank you guys for being such great hosts and not to mention Dina who was there to welcome me. You were amazing.

very nice place. hosts live nearby shared fresh bread with us, which was very nice. a lot of loyal recommendations. a place close to the city but the silence of the suburbs is provided

Amazing place, with an even better view from the balcony. We were able to welcome the New Years while enjoying the view of Angra and the fireworks. A cozy house, situated in a good location.
