"Dail an Fheidh" (gaelic for "Deer Field") is a 2 bedroom house situated on the beautiful shores of Loch Linnhe. The house is set in an acre of field and has direct access to the loch. There are amazing views over to Ben Nevis and red deer graze near the house, all year long. A 40 minute drive will take you to the popular town of Fort William or head west to explore the stunning Ardnamurchan Peninsula. You can use the Corran Ferry to access the house, but please note, we are not on an island.

The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise while lying in bed, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. Relax in The Loch Cabin, overlooking spectacular views of Loch Linnhe and surrounding hills, access to the shore is a minutes walk away. It's also walking distance to Fort William town centre to the shops,bars and restaurants. The cabin comfortably sleeps two, with a double bed,TV, Wi-Fi, small kitchen with a fridge, microwave,hob, and dining area, toilet,sink and shower. There is also an outdoor patio area with a table and chairs and bench. Parking for one car is beside the cabin.

Free private parking. 10 minutes walk from Fort William High Street/train and bus station and 1-2 minutes walk from Glen Nevis. Bus service from town stops outside the flat .

Enjoy the peace and views at our cosy wee cabin. Beautiful setting on the banks of Loch Eil. Watch the Jacobite Steam Train pass on the opposite shore, along with the sea birds and other wildlife. Easy access to the water if you have kayaks or paddle boards. Located within the grounds of our home, so you share the driveway and garden. Make sure you bring your provisions as we are 35 minutes drive from Fort William and there are no shops or restaurants near by.
