If you need a quiet place overlooking the sea and fresh sea air this is the place for you. Short distance to the airport (5 min by car) and 3 min to walk to the sea with opportunities to fish, swim and hike. There is a bus connection to the light rail which is 3 km away. The light rail runs from the airport and into Bergen city center. It is also possible to take the express boat that stops just down by the quay (3 min walk) and takes 35 minutes to Bergen city center. The house is new and modern with 2 bedrooms, large living room, kitchen and bathroom.

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. Here you get far away from the city, noise and everyday life, to silence, magnificent and beautiful nature. There are great hiking trails right outside the cabin door with “fairytale forest” and viewpoints towards the big sea.

The apartment has everything you need, including some simple cooking options. There used to be gym equipment in the appartment, but that was moved to the garage. FAQ: «Is it within walking distance from the airport?» No, it’s about 10 min by car. If you want to go by public transport you will have to take a light rail and then bus.

A flat with a spectacular view: Through the big windows, you see the fjord and the mountains, and far away, you can see the glacier. You can easily get here from Bergen Center. One hour with speed passenger ferry from «Strandkaiterminalen». Or from Flesland Airport, 15 min bus/taxi to Flesland harbour, and then 40 min. to Møkster. Bedding and towels are all included, and the beds are made ready for you. There is a good grocery store at the harbour, where you can get mostly all you need.

The cabin is located in the middle of the nature just 50 meters from the sea. It is a 20 minute hike to get to the cabin, and it is completely undisturbed. Here you can enjoy nature, the sea, the horizon and the silence. The view is exceptional almost everywhere you look. Cozy up inside the cabin, or take your fishing rod and see if you get lucky throwing from the rocks. Enjoy the sunshine or admire the wild stormy ocean. This is a perfect place to relax away from everyday life.

Solbakken Mikrohus

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet på Os. Above the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is wonderful to sit to take in the surroundings and feel the calm. There are also great hiking trails close by.
