Villa holiday rentals in Apennine Mountains

Wonderful villa with a beautiful outdoor area- fruit trees, roses, and flowers. We enjoyed the wine, snacks and fresh fruit the host had for us upon arrival. This was our last stop in Italy. Bedding, mattresses and AC has not been great in the places that we have stayed, and never was there a fan. This villa had a comfortable bed , great ac, and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. My husband said his best night sleep the entire trip. We were missing our dogs and cats and we loved having theirs visit us daily! The hosts were traveling so we didn’t get the chance to meet them. They regularly checked in on us to make sure everything was good and provided local recommendations. Given the reviews and accommodation, I’m sure they are amazing! If you’re ever in Florence, this place is worth the stay.

Immaculate accommodation in beautiful surroundings. The views are incredible. The hosts were very thoughtful and the house was large and had almost everything one would want. The hosts live in a house across the courtyard. The pool is clean and good for swimming with comfortable loungers all overlooking that view. Last but definitely not least there is a friendly, silly labrador called Gino to make you feel at home. Thank you Luigia, Armando and Gino.

Incredible farmhouse in a very quiet place. The outdoor space is really huge and perfect for our setter who hasn't stopped for a minute. Really great solution for those who have a dog as the space is huge and completely fenced. Then, well, the house doesn't need any further description, the photos speak for themselves. Our stay at Villa Blue Melon in Lake Bolsena was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I stayed for two nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The villa is beautifully situated right on the water — peaceful, quiet, and incredibly scenic. It’s also gated, which added a nice sense of privacy and security. Andrea was a wonderful host, meeting us personally at check-in and making sure we had everything we needed. The interior decor was immaculate — every room thoughtfully designed and impeccably clean. The wellness room was a special highlight, perfect for unwinding and adding to the relaxing atmosphere. While it was just the two of us, the villa has plenty of space for a larger group — it would comfortably host six guests with room to spare. It’s also very close to town, so restaurants, shops, and the local charm of Bolsena are just minutes away. We loved our time here and would stay again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-designed getaway.

Tucked into the hillside above the charming town of Nerano in Massa Lubrense, this beautiful home was an absolute dream. The sweeping views of the bay and surrounding hills were breathtaking—especially from the spacious terrace, where we spent peaceful mornings soaking in the sun. The house itself is wonderfully appointed, with large, comfortable bedrooms and spotless, modern bathrooms. Everything was sparkling clean and thoughtfully maintained. Silvia and Francesco were truly delightful hosts—warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. They even helped us arrange a fantastic last-minute tour of Amalfi and Positano, which became one of the highlights of our trip. This place felt like a hidden gem, and I’m already dreaming about my return. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place in the heart of nature and yet only 10 minutes from Assisi. True spot of beauty, calm, quite and peace. We enjoyed every second of it and will surely come back. Best Airbnb rental out there. Thanks for everything Daniela & Maria!

This house in Orte is so beautiful! The bedrooms were comfortable and the house was extremely clean. Alessandra was extremely easy to communicate with and offered help and recommendations. Orte is a unique, very real Italian hill town. Non-Italian tourists are rare there, and it’s wonderful to see daily life in such an interesting, beautiful small city.

We stayed at the villa for our daughter’s wedding. It was the most beautiful, magical night. Vanessa helped with everything we needed and more. I can’t even express how beautiful her property is. The views are astonishing! Vanessa is a super host indeed. Everything was perfect! What a true gift Vanessa is willing to share. If you are considering a small, intimate wedding in the most gorgeous place in Italy…look no more!

This was our second time visiting Mogens and Suzie's beautiful home in Cortona. One reason for coming back was the sheer beauty of the property and the proximity to fantastic medieval towns with incredible history that endures even now. For wine enthusiasts, there are tons of wine tasting opportunities with lunch, dinner or just great wine. Another reason for our return visit was an opportunity to spend time again with Mogens and Suzie, by far the best AIRBNB hosts we have ever encountered. They do everything imaginable to make your time as enjoyable as possible and to say that they go the extra mile would be a gross understatement. We can't wait to come back a third time.

Our stay at Mariella's beautiful home was a highlight of our five week trip throughout Italy. Peacefully situated between Florence and Siena, this villa offers a welcoming respite from the hustle and bustle of the cities. It was also super convenient to the vineyards throughout Chianti. Waking up every morning to the sunrise views over the valley and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening were the perfect beginning and ending to each day. The pool was even larger than we imagined and provided days of entertainment sprinkled in during a week of sightseeing and wine tasting. I cannot recommend this home, location, or host enough. You will NOT be disappointed!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was beautifully equipped with everything we needed — from the kitchen to the bedrooms, every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The garden was absolutely lovely, perfect for relaxing in the sun or enjoying a meal outdoors. The pool was a real highlight — clean, spacious, and a great way to cool off during the day. What truly made the stay special was the warm hospitality of our hosts. They were welcoming, helpful, and made us feel completely at home from the very first moment. Highly recommended — we would love to come back!

The villa is beautiful and the host Cesare is incredible. And I mean incredible. We have had excellent hosts before but he is beyond belief. He even helped us when there was a train strike by picking us up in Florence. He is warm, responsive, friendly, funny. He answered every text in a minute. Family with kids went and the place is beautiful, spacious and the pool is large and fabulous. It was the best week of our vacation. We also had a wonderful cooking class at the villa that Cesare recommended. Gabriella was so much fun. Florence is 30 minute car or a train ride but we always took train. We hope we can return.

Giuliani is a wonderful host who made us feel as if this slice of paradise was our home, too. The location, the meticulously restored home, the views all make for the ultimate Tuscan experience. But Giuliani and her husband bring it all together with their warmth and attentiveness. It was a tough place to say goodbye to — for now. If you are looking for a Tuscan experience, this is it. And remember to ask for the hosts’ home-cooked meal. It is a culinary experience in the very best sense.

Beautiful property. Staff were amazing, responsive and friendly. Location ideal for visiting other cities by car. Exactly as pictured. Breakfast which was added on a day to day basis was spectacular. Very relaxing sitting on patio and by the pool.

Amazing property! Better than the photos. 5 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Beautiful property amongst the olive trees. Enjoyed relaxing days by the pool, Floriana’s own Prosecco and the private pasta cooking class! Amazing stay!

Good host and great communication!

We cannot say enough good things about Tracey and her beautiful Casa Braeside. The house is cozy and just gorgeous, and it was plenty spacious for us (family of 5) and had everything we needed and then some. It stayed cool in the summer heat thanks to thick walls and solid window shutters (plus A/C in case we needed it). The kids loved the pool, and we were all mesmerized by the fireflies at night. I appreciated the multiple places to sit outside. There are always at least one or two outdoor seating areas in the shade at any given time of day. And there’s a hammock! We loved the tranquility: the only things that made noise were the birds singing in the morning, a few summer thunderstorms, and our own kids, ha. The view of the town above is something straight from a postcard. The recommendations for restaurants were detailed and much appreciated. We loved exploring the unspoiled and hardly touristed surroundings. And the property manager is excellent & answered all our questions. 100%!

Marleen and Stijn, her property manager, were extremely communicative and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay! They messaged clear instructions and videos and when we arrived everything was so easy and clean! The property is absolutely breathtaking, with gorgeous views. This was the best air bnb experience I have ever had. It was thanks to Marleen’s kindness and clear instructions. My family cannot wait to return to the villa. It was amazing! The property is gated too, so we felt safe and private.

The villa was a perfect getaway for our family of six. Leonardo and Luca were super helpful with providing recommendations and accommodations for our stay since we were not walking distance into town. Having a car to drive around would make it much easier to visit nearby towns. Highly recommend staying here!

An enchanting place. The villa is steeped in history and the gardens with a small amphitheater and a distant view of Siena are spectacular. Great location from which to explore the rest of Tuscany. My family and I have enjoyed our stay.

Our family had the dreamiest stay at Alessandro’s. We had a large family of 12 and had plenty of place to sleep with plenty of bathrooms. About a 20 minute taxi ride from the main siena center. We also had our own private pool which was a short walk through the olive trees. We enjoyed the wine from the property, cooking class with Stacey, and enjoyed a wonderful private dinner in the outdoor courtyard. Laura was also very responsive to anything we needed during our stay. Our family had the most memorable stay! Would 10/10 recommend staying here.
