Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Appalachian Mountains

Beautiful!!! It was an amazing log cabin in an idyllic setting - forested AND with a wonderful garden. Lots of wildlife - chipmunks, squirrels, variety of birds include hummingbirds feeding outside our room in the morning. Maisie made us feel very welcome and comfortable - her home is immaculate. The porch was perfect for morning coffee and Maisie provided a delicious continental breakfast, set at the lovely dining table. There are many tasteful and interesting country decorations that Maisie has made that helped make our stay enjoyable. It couldn't have been better! Thank you, Maisie, for welcoming us and for your thoughtful conversation.

Great stay at Sasha’s! Very private, peaceful and the hot tub and sauna make the stay relaxing and a treat!

Taz was extremely punctual with her communication and also understood my late arrival and very early departure. This was a great find and I will use again depending on my travel needs.

We loved it! Charming, cozy and clean. Loved sitting on the porch, watching hummingbirds feed. The whole family enjoyed exploring the beautiful yard. Perfect place!

Staying with Linda and Dick is a marvelous experience. It's what a bed and breakfast used to mean. You get a private room and bath in a private home, a lovely couple for hosts, lots of conversation, beautiful garden, ample breakfast. Our stay was pleasant in every way. Linda is communicative, fair, friendly. Instructions were more than clear. We felt like we were in our home away from home. Rochester is a great destination to visit, and when you do - stay here.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay or better Air BnB Hosts. This was/is probably one of the best places we have stayed. Very walkable and centrally located, the room was comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Robert also made an incredible breakfast for us every morning. Not a single thing could have been better. We loved our stay at Graham Ordinary! John and Kathy were so knowledgeable and gave such great recommendations of what to do and see during our stay. The mead tasting was very fun and informative! Highly recommend!

Beautiful place to stay. View is breathtaking! The mansion is gorgeous. The structure on the inside was amazing. Loved the elevator! We stayed in the blue room. It was comfortable and had a quaint little balcony to sit and watch the wildlife or sip on coffee. The hosts were great. Very friendly and the hospitality they showed all of their guests was great. We loved the four little Westie puppies. They were precious. The breakfast that was prepared was delicious and they even prepared a fresh pot of coffee for us. We enjoyed sitting out in the gazebo watching the fish and turtles as we sat out over the water. We would absolutely recommend them and will return some day!

We had a great time staying at the Lacey Rose! I appreciated the direction communication from Denise and being in a space that was so thoughtfully decorated and cared for. Breakfast made for us at the time we requested was a huge bonus as well!

What a great host! They made us feel right at home and rolled out the red carpet for us. Great conversation and great privacy when needed. Good decision to stay with Renate and Bob. Will definitely stop in the next time we are in the area.

Our stay was PERFECT. We got exactly what I wanted, to be lost in the forest to shut down a bit & resurfaced at leisure. A beautifully crafted basket & note awaited us with SO many personal touches & catered to our dietary needs. The cabin was beautiful in every way & we loved the hot tub nestled among Denise's herbs (it was so US). From start to finish it felt exactly the vibe I pictured. It was a support for my husband & he LOVED every min! We woke up to our beautiful & active animal friends which added to the feeling of lost in the forest. We visit the many farm stands & local cafes & thrift stores. They catered to everything that was important to us & our cozy stay. I'd do it again on repeat. It was worth every penny & I actually cried a little when we had to check out. It was the disconnect we both needed in the perfect spot we needed it. Denise & Bob are a gift to the tired soul & so is the cozy cabin they share with all of us🩷.

Lara was kind, clear, and specific in her communication. Her place was easy to navigate to; the home and our suite were squeaky clean and felt warm and welcoming. We deeply appreciated Lara’s recommendations for ways to explore and get to know Charlotte and Shelburne. We had a great time overall and are certainly looking forward to returning. Brenda’s Airbnb was a hidden oasis! Nestled on a quiet street, we had the entire lower level to ourselves - which was spacious and clean. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a tranquil escape.

Our stay was perfect! Before our trip even started, Roxana sent us a detailed message, telling us how to find the place, how to get inside, and what to expect. Everything was exactly was described. Very clean and cozy! We loved the comfortable bed and the large shower head. I loved relaxing in the large tub with jets. Roxana was extremely responsive to all our messages and was always very kind. Any issues we had (like with the portable a/c) were fixed as soon as possible, and Roxana treated it as if she were entering *our* home- she communicated before, during, and after going into the room. Highly recommend Roxana and this Airbnb!

The Cozy Loft was exactly as advertised. Sarah and her family were perfect hosts. Unfortunately due to our schedule we were unable to take advantage of the outdoor space available. Thank you Sarah!

We cannot say enough good things about Bradley and his house. From the beginning of booking to our last day Bradley was always very kind and responsive. We arrived on motorcycles and it was raining. After we got settled in we were going to walk to a local restaurant, but Bradley was kind enough to drive us. He gave great restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. His dog Kane was great too! Overall great experience and would definitely book with him again!

The cottage was as lovely as described and on beautiful grounds. Stephen welcomed us with his delicious homemade carrot cake, a bottle of bubbly and a welcome card for us and a graduation card for my son! It was all delightful! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Wilda could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The apartment was really comfortable and we had everything we needed and more! So many options for breakfast food we were spoilt for choice. We did not want to leave and would love to return.
