Farmstay holiday rentals in Appalachian Mountains

I took a group of teenagers to the treehouse for my son 16th birthday. It was perfect as I had my own bedroom and they got to stay together. There was lots for them to do but also a great time to unplug and just spend quality time together and not stay on their phones like they usually do.

My wife and I had a LOVELY time! Intimate and relaxing space! Beautiful view! This is Glamping at its finest! Highly recommend for a romantic getaway!

If you’re looking for peace and tranquility this is it. Also if you like cats, there’s an orange one that is an amazing greeter.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Firehouse. The house and location were so unique and the views were beautiful. Chris and his family provide many essential household items plus extras. Our daughters (ages 2 & 4) had a great time playing with the board games in the living room and climbing up the ladder to the loft in the bedroom. In the morning, my wife and I enjoyed coffee on the patio while the kids played with the provided outdoor toys on the lawn. They also loved taking walks to see the "baby Christmas trees." During the day we visited Knoebels Amusement Park (only a 20 minutes drive from the Firehouse). In the evening we enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. We can't wait to return!

My family and I had a great time at Gail’s place. The kids loved seeing the animals up close and just being able to look out the front window and see them every morning. Gail was wonderful, place is clean, and there were lots of wonderful breakfast items provided (milk, eggs, orange juice, cereal, muffins, fruit). Was a very fun family trip!

The location was stunning. Enjoyed watching the sheep romp about. It was the perfect retreat for a girl’s weekend. Highly recommend!

This place was as advertised and a perfect peaceful getaway with cows within yards of the cabin. Wil was also a very gracious host and made our stay well worth it.

Such a beautiful space. Amazing plants, the swinging bed and all the amenities you could need. The bike trails are nearby and amazing. I loved my stay!

This is our third time staying at Carolyn and Dan’s and it will not be our last. My husband and I truly can’t say enough positives about this amazing place and even more amazing couple. 100% would recommend for couples who want comfortable peaceful private getaway. This early 1800's home has fascinating historic charm AND all the modern amenities. It is obvious that much thought and care is put in to assure comfort of guests. Carol and Mike are friendly, accommodating and responsive. Best, most unique bnb stay ever. Will come again and will highly recommend to family and friends.

Molly knows how to host. Such a gracious and lovely host that made us feel so welcome and had the best touches - bottle of wine and handwritten note on arrival, Aesop bath products, plenty of games, and helpful instructions and local recommendations. The property is beautiful situated right on the creek. It rained 1/2 the time we were there but we still had a great time as it was so peaceful and the cabin is very cozy. Mollys dog Charlie was so friendly, sweet and careful with our small toy poodle. We wished he visited more we loved him so much! Highly recommend a stay and that you take her up on every recommendation. They did not disappoint. 🤍

I’ve always wanted to stay ever since the first time I had seen the pictures of the silo. It is exactly what they say. Everything‘s perfect the detail in the decorating was beautiful not to mention we love the visit from the horse our dog Jasper just loved it and we loved the visit from the cow. The hot tub was perfect.

The space is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful! Michael was so sweet and thoughtfully turned the air on for us earlier in the day so it would be comfortable. He was also super responsive to messages and delivered breakfast to us last minute and was just so considerate and pleasant to work with! We’d be so happy to stay there again!

We had a wonderful two-night stay! The property was private, peaceful, and absolutely fabulous. We truly enjoyed all the amenities—the outdoor shower, sauna, fire pit, and the cozy swings and egg chairs. Everything was clean, thoughtfully arranged, and made for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a serene setting!

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to get away for a couple of days. We ended up spending a lot of time at the house, because it was so comfortable and relaxing. To start off, the place was incredibly clean, the bed was comfy, the shower was spacious, and the kitchen was fully stocked and had very modern appliances. The bedroom and the living room also each had air conditioning units that worked so well at keeping the place at a cool and comfortable temperature for us. We loved the hot tub, the deck and patio, and the little firepit area. The curtains we could use around the deck were really nice to make the area a little more private, especially once it was dark out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, quiet, and private place to get away. There are plenty of beautiful hiking areas and great restaurants nearby. Make sure to check out Calfkiller down the road and bring the growler Darcy has at the house. It’s a great spot!

We loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful and we couldn’t get over the view. We also loved getting visited by the adorable little goats! Travis was a great host, and we’d definitely love to stay again.

Beautiful and peaceful place in the Catskills. Located on a private road that is easy to find, and easy to walk around with your pups. LeAnna is a great host. She is easy to communicate with, and provided great local recommendations. I recommend bringing some snacks and fruit as the closest grocery store is a little sparse.

Jason’s place is perfect for a short getaway. You can see the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains while you’re enjoying the outdoor hot tub. The place is small but very well maintained and thoughtfully designed. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our time here. To note for those who are not from this area, there might be some bugs. I recommend bringing bug spray with you. Yet I was able to enjoy the place with a peace of mind despite my serious bug phobia. So it’s absolutely fine for ordinary people. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was such a peaceful and secluded area. We enjoyed the sounds of the stream and bullfrogs in the evening. The cabin was PRECIOUS! We didn’t want to leave. ❤️

This was by far the best trip I have ever been on. We knew it was going to be incredible from the reels but actually being there exceeded every expectation we could have ever had. My girlfriend found this on social media and sent this as one of her most romanized fantasy vacations. Little did she know that the Goat Daddy’s were on the east coast. I booked the trip immediately. When we arrived, we were both so incredibly enamored with the property. Josh showed up and talked us through the silly ducks and hens and all the other quirky animals we would innovateby encounter. When we got to the house, it was everything we expected and more. It was immaculate and no detail was spared. We have never felt so at home. When we had our private tour, I have never seen my girl so happy. Jonas was so incredibly knowledgeable, and allowed her to live and learn about so many things. We fell in love with every creature we were lucky enough to encounter and we can’t wait to come back 💜Roux
