The accommodation is on Appenzellerstrasse, from Gais to Appenzell. The house is bright and offers plenty of space for 3-4 people on the ground floor and first floor. It is a patrician house, and the ceilings are higher (2.20 m) than typical Appenzell houses. The kitchen is fully equipped. 2 high chairs for children/baby cribs are available. Dogs are welcome; please let us know in advance. Hiking trails start as soon as you cross the street. Important: There is also a separate listing on Airbnb for renting the entire part of the house (8 people).

The Studio-Pfauen is on the main street, 5 minutes from the center and 10 minutes from the train station. It is furnished for 2 people and is located on the 3rd floor with private entrance. Suitable for bike and/or motorcycle riders as our workshop is on the first floor. The approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, which is located at almost 700 meters above sea level, was partially renovated in 2019. The rustic base was skillfully combined with modern elements. The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome. The house impresses with a spacious swing which is kept very close to nature. For children, there are various play options in and around the house.

The small loft is on the ground floor of a stately house. It is modern and comfortably furnished: elegant bathroom in black and brass, white lime plaster walls, heated design concrete floor, many windows, direct access to the garden. Holiday cottage on the sunny slope with beautiful views. After a short but somewhat steep walk to the bungalow, you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis, on a cozy terrace. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, it is about 100 m on foot relatively steep up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest.

First floor studio in the village center

The studio is located in a typical Appenzell house (built in 1689). A mix of modern and traditional furnishings awaits. You are only a 3-minute walk from the old town, many sights and the Appenzell train station. The studio has an open living and sleeping area with a pull-out 160 cm wide bed. There is also a TV with Netflix access. The kitchen is fully equipped and the cozy dining area is ideal for breakfast.

The apartment is very sunny with a lot of light and fresh air form the North. In one minute, you will be in the middle of the little town. In the North, there are some nice hilly areas.
