Holiday rentals with breakfast in Appenzell Innerrhoden

Being someone’s guest is the best way to spend a night somewhere! This was my second amazing experience, where the host (on @airbnb ) was a home owner who decided to share her home with travelers. Last time in Palma de Mallorca, this time in Alt Sankt Johann in Toggenburg! Corinne’s dream was to start her own B&B. A dream came true for her and the best experience for slow and easy travelers. Nothing was too fancy but everything worked! The bathroom has its charm, the breakfast, which was included in the price, was super nice and homy! Beautiful view from the room in an amazing valley. The river Thur offers a calm place to switch off, the @klangwelt_toggenburg museum in the village is simply beautiful! @churfirstentrailrun is all around if you are looking for a nice trail running place!

Elisabeth is an incredible host, cannot recommend this stay enough. Her house and surrounding area are stunning! Comfy bed, great breakfast and amazing views. I’m only sorry we weren’t staying longer.

Our stay with Stephan was great! He and his partner are very nice and accommodating people with a lot of hospitality. The room is simple but fully equipped. The rest of the house is very lovingly decorated and decorated. There are a lot of great plants... :) We were able to use his kitchen completely, it was everything your heart desires. We enjoyed it very much, we would love to come back.

It was my first time in Switzerland. As a solo traveler, I enjoy renting a room in a shared home vs. an entire apartment. I’ve stayed in many AirBnB’s and have met such wonderful, gracious people throughout the years, but nothing compares to the breakfast spent chatting with Monika and her husband! The setting is like a story book. So much beautiful scenery to take in. The bedroom and living space upstairs is private and immaculately clean. Monika even recommended a fabulous restaurant, a 5 minute walk, that was fantastic food made by a very nice local couple. I would love to stay with Monika again and cannot recommend enough.

We were received in a very friendly manner by Elisabeth and Andreas. On the occasion of the Schwägalpschwingfest, we had booked the two rooms with a bathroom for two nights. On Sunday at 6:30 am Elisabeth even served us coffee and homemade, fresh Weggli. The couple gave us helpful information regarding the shuttle bus. On the day of departure, we were allowed to enjoy a great breakfast. Elisabeth had baked fresh bread early in the morning, what a service. We felt very comfortable and welcome. I spent a great weekend in Trogen. Cozy room & the house is very idyllic and quiet, in the middle of the countryside. You have beautiful views to Lake Constance. It is also ideal for excursions. I did some hikes and bike tours in the area. Everything was easily accessible by public transport. In the evening I was able to use the yurt that is in the garden as a quiet retreat - just awesome! Florian and his family, who live in the upper part of the house, are great hosts. Very warm and uncomplicated. For breakfast, there were even homemade braid. It is a great place, highly recommend. Definitely coming back - THANK YOU.

Mega great ambience, very friendly landlord just great - Bruno even provided us with a torch for great light in the garden! It was only very warm in the room - but we also have high summer ☀️

Perfect location and brilliant room!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed a lot. The apartment is very lovingly furnished, perfectly clean and everything you need is available. The garden is a dream, with a children's playground, whirlpool and various barbecue areas. Anita and her family are very warm and open-minded. We will definitely be back!

Ralf welcomed me with a great smile and open arms. The stay was very comfortable and relaxing. I recommend this place. There was also food in the morning and in the evening. Very great host.

Silvia is a warm, accommodating host! She took the time to explain everything to me, gave tips for the area. She even let me store my luggage with her on the day of departure until later in the afternoon, so I could only be on the road with the day backpack!

We stayed for a week and it was great. The view of the valley and mountains is terrific. The whole family appreciated both the nice apartment and the great location. There are great spots nearby to walk your dog. Grocery stores are within 50-100m of the apartment.

Very clean, beautiful place to stay for the weekend. Close to town, great breakfast, and Claudia is wonderful.

The accommodation at Maya is highly recommended. I felt very comfortable from the beginning and was warmly welcomed by Maya. The rooms and the bathroom are sparkling clean, the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, everything is prepared with love and very tasty. Maya is a wonderful open and friendly hostess. I would come back anytime.

I arrived really late in the evening and they were very kind to send me a video of the building entrance, how to find my room and the location of all the shared amenities (shower, dining room, etc). (Of course I don't know if it is always possible to check in at such a late time as I did). The breakfast was also good!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was absolutely incredible – both beautiful and convenient. Close to the mountains and the train, it was perfect for hikes as well as just relaxing. The shared breakfast each morning was a lovely touch and gave us the chance to spend time with the other guests, which added a special and energizing start to our days. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend our time. We truly hope to come back!
