nice stay; easy, quick and friendly communication with Pauline, felt welcome; easy to get to hiking and swimming; unfortunately the mountain life shop closed the day we arrived

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a 10–15 minute walk to Åre square—and the view was absolutely beautiful. The apartment was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. Everything was just as expected, making for a really comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We had great days in Johan's cabin with skiing, northern lights and swimming in the jacuzzi. Johan was easy and clear to communicate with. The cottage is empty better than what the pictures show, spacious, comfortable beds and cozy to be able to burn in the stove. Everything you might need in housewares is in the cabin, we made waffles that were appreciated by the children. The projector that allowed movie watching upstairs was also a hit. We would be glad to come back!

Beautiful nature, peaceful area, magical sunsets, dancing northern lights in the night sky, bustling bird life with, among other things, evocative crane screams early morning. A fantastic cozy place close to most things Åre has to offer

a nice little house where everything is done to make you feel good, well decorated, very clean, well thought out, blankets everywhere you can need them, flowers, candles and as a bonus total independence! If we didn't live 3500 km away, we would come back often.😂 Thank you very much to Elisabeth and Micke.

A lovely quiet place! Plenty of room for many, even though there were only two of us..:) Lovely to just light the fireplace and read a book for many hours and take small nearby walks. Perfect distance to skiing in Åre or the city in Østersund (try the Saturday frame at Astrids in the city!). Thanks for us!

Situated in the midst of mountains. Great place to stay and explore around Åre. Great hikes nearby and vålåforsen is walkable. Well equipped kitchen and clean. Worth the money.

As always, it was nice to rent someone's private residence compared to impersonal ftg rentals. We enjoyed the sauna, sunshine on the porch and good social areas. Very satisfied.

Elsas stuga was very comfortable and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable and it was very cosy and peaceful. We really enjoyed our trip.

A genuine and very cozy cottage with great views. We were there during the Easter holiday and unfortunately there was unusual snow, so we didn't have the opportunity to try the tour tracks that are right by the cabin. But we went both length and downhill in Trillevallen which is close by and suited our needs well. In addition, we went on a tour at Edsåsdalen up to Renfjället, which was a real hit. The bedrooms are simple and nice, the kitchen new and fresh, but the cottage's retention is the large living room with fireplace and views of the mountain world. The only thing we were missing was a washing machine. Hosts Isabelle and Erik made the stay easy with clear instructions, quick answers to questions and gave lots of tips for things to do in the local area. We'd love to come back here!

We have lived in Tomas cottage before and really like it! A fresh and pleasant cottage in a quiet and nice location with great views of both Åreskutan and Åresjön. Very smooth with quick and good communication and service – everything has worked great every time. Highly recommended!
