Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Armstrong County

We have stayed at a lot of AirBnB's and this place is easily in our top 5 for comfort, cleanliness and aesthetics. The couches were very comfortable, the upstairs bed was very comfortable. The house was nice and cool when we got there. The upstairs air conditioning unit was quiet. I appreciated the fact that the sheets were cotton and not those gross polyester, make you sweaty sheets. I appreciated the well stocked coffee bar (there were even decaf pods). Whoever did the remodel on this home did an absolutely amazing, professional job. I loved the color palette inside. It's nice to be in a home that isn't painted 50 shades of depressing gray. I loved the chicken fabric on the dining room chairs. Just a quick ride into Vandergrift and New Kensington to hit the breweries (our favorite was Allusion Brewing). We also biked the Tredway Trail, Armstrong Trail and the Butler Freeport Community Trail. Sherri was kind enough to let us use the garage to keep our bikes safe and dry. Thanks!

My boys and I stayed at the house while attending a local event. The house was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the porch listening to the birds, enjoying the rolling hills and watching the storms come and go. Theresa and Randy were great hosts. I would stay there again in the future if it was just the 3 of us.

Diane and Eric are absolutely incredible. There’s a sign above the front door that says “ arrive as guests leave as friends” I think. Lol but it should say “ arrive as guests and leave as family” I missed my wife and kids every day as I stayed out here for months for work, and their hospitality alone and type of people they are made me feel at home. They are truly great people and I’m blessed to have met them, and gained a family out here being 8hrs away from home. When I come back out here next year to finish work I will be staying here again!!!

House was clean and just as described. The area was also very quiet. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch and taking in the nature.

Their place was great. Exactly as described. But they went beyond being exceptional when they worked with me in checkin and check out times. Since we live 6 hours away having flexibility Was a major help. I can’t say enough about how great these hosts are. House clean and comfy and well stocked. A great check in experience!

This little house has all the convenience of home. Full kitchen or a grill to cook outside! Tv to watch. Nice patio/porch to sit outside!! Nice scenery. You can take nice walks and go down to the river!!! A great place for peace and quiet! And the host and hostess are great people. If you lack for anything just ask.

It was a pleasure to stay in Deborah's unit in Vandergrift. The place was very nicely appointed, extremely clean, and nicely stocked! The home had multiple rooms to move about in and did not feel cramped at all. The neighborhood was quiet with friendly folks on the street. There was a bit of noise from the train as it went through town, but it wasn't often. I was not able to take the opportunity to wander the town, but it was easily walkable. Deborah responded to inquiries quickly with helpful answers! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is well-equipped with everything you need. There is also a lot of space in the living room and kitchen and Chase was very good at communicating with us. If we come back to Kittanning, we’ll definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay! I highly recommend if you are wanting to stay in the area. Sandra was easy to work with and provide a beautiful place to stay.

He added nice things such as good, non-generic sundry items, dishes, utensils for cooking. Bed comfortable, but no place to hang clothes. Also, sometimes morning commute traffic was audible even though it's off the road. Overall recommended if you don't mind a small space.

This is our second time staying at the location over the Thanksgiving holiday - great place, super clean. It is clear the host pays attention to details! We had another great stay!
