We can highly recommend this accommodation! The house with the pool, great rooms and bathrooms as well as lounges was just wonderful. Everything has been thought of in the furnishings and equipment. We loved everything about this house! The sunset in the nearby lagoon made the stay perfect. Mafalda is a great host and communication was always friendly and extremely helpful. We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Perfect location for a two week stay. Quiet, safe, and peaceful property. 5 min walk to a grocery store and 40 min walk to a beautiful beach. Close to Lisbon via Bolt or Uber. Full kitchen to cook meals, dishwasher, laundry, stocked bathroom amenities. Felt right at home. Ricardo was friendly and responsive. He went above and beyond helping us during the power outage week and even came to check on us. Excellent communication and responsive when we needed help. All amenities were present enough for at least a few days. Bring or plan to buy more if staying for longer. It was our first time in Portugal and we really enjoyed our stay!

The property might lack kerb appeal from the front but the private outdoor space at the rear, with lovely views and with the bonus of a lovely small pool to cool off in on hot days is fabulous The accommodation itself was well equipped and a good size and also remained lovely and cool, no matter how hot it was outside. The location is good and you can walk down to the beach and many restaurants in about 10/15 minutes, although be prepared for a lot of stairs on the walk back up. Would definitely recommend.

A very nice house with a nice swimming pool. A minute or 10 drive from the beach and a small half hour to the center of Lisbon. The owner is easily accessible and answers all the questions you have and can also give all kinds of tips on what to do.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Carla's house is simply spectacular, exactly like the photos, cozy, super clean, extremely equipped with everything we needed. Carla was super attentive since our first contact, always willing to help with whatever was needed, always available to answer questions! My family and I loved staying at her house and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Portugal! Thank you for everything Carla.

We spent a week at Daniel's house with 2 families and had a great time. The house and property are not only large, but also already furnished or laid out. The kitchen is well equipped and with heated pool, new foosball, yoga mats, the ping pong table and the barbecue there is plenty to do even without excursions. But given the beautiful, quiet nature (occasionally the dog barking a little annoying) in the immediate vicinity and the versatile beaches (in the west with waves, at Sesimbra quiet Caribbean, but cold:-)) it would be a pity to forego excursions. However, you need a rental car and shopping facilities are a little further away (until the small shop in the village that offers Essentials). We would definitely book the house again.

Our host Sophia was extremely helpful and always responsive. My family had a wonderful time visiting Lisbon. The house was very comfortable for our family of eight. We would highly recommend this bnb for any family visiting Portugal!

We loved our stay at Figueiredo’s place. Perfect for us as a couple, with a private pool and deck to relax on in the evening. Quiet location within easy reach of Cascais, via Uber or a short walk, with its great food options. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would highly recommend this place is you are looking for somewhere quiet near Cascais.

it was a great stay. in a good location close to the beach and close to the city. with a beautiful garden and a nice pool. we enjoyed ourselves! The owner was super helpful and gave us good tips!

I remember reading a review of one guest saying how this was the nicest ABNB they ever stayed at, and i have to say that this was spot on. the location and view are spectacular. the house excellent. Highly recommend staying here. Host was also very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

It was our best experience with Airbnb by far. Everything was just perfect: amazing views, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the sound and smell of the sea felt like the best feeling in the world! The host was super responsive, helpful and provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. The villa provides a beautiful space for a large family or group with lots of outdoor entertainment for everyone. João was very helpful and always easy to communicate with. Great location, very easy and cheap to get Ubers anywhere - local beach, restaurants, into Lisbon. Villa itself could do with updating but otherwise had everything we needed. The only negative would be with the guest house - one bedroom is in the kitchen area and there wasn’t enough hot water for a shower.

We were completely delighted with the stay! The house is in a super quiet place, surrounded by nature, you can only hear birds and chickens, which makes everything even more relaxing. Everything was impeccably clean and the house smelled great upon arrival. The pool is a true paradise, with warm water thanks to the sun that shines all day! Patrícia was amazing, super helpful and attentive. He left us a wine and some welcome tapas that tasted really good. They were perfect days, with nothing to point out. We recommend it 100% and we hope to come back soon!

I really enjoyed Mariana's lovely quiet house. Fully equipped and clean. Absolutely right! Especially the hammocks are wonderful to doze and read in for a whole afternoon. In one word fantastic!

This was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in during our two weeks in Portugal. The space is so incredibly clean and beautiful. Like a little slice of paradise, with a sea view!! The hosts even provided snacks and beverages upon arrival. We felt very comfortable the entire time. Although the family lives on the property, they were quiet and friendly and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is you have to communicate through a third party and they require an exact arrival time and they aren’t quick with replying to questions. I prefer to book self check-ins on Airbnb so we can take our time to travel around the country at leisure and not feel stressed about arriving at an exact time, but the third party company required an exact arrival time. So I found that a bit annoying. But the hosts themselves, who live on the property were lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend this space! 10/10

The house was like heaven on earth! From the serene surroundings, to the accessible peaceful beach and beautiful interior. Wish I could have stayed longer to be honest! Isabel was a great and responsive host! Will be recommending this stay to all our friends.

Wonderful stay here as a group of 12 girls on a hen weekend from England. There are so many amenities, way more than the photos show, the outdoor pool was lovely and there is a whole separate kitchen complex to the house with lots of space for food prep. A whole gym area with saunas and even a tennis court! Inside the house is very modern and stylish with an ensuite for every room and more than enough beds for us all, even the little extra rooms had comfy single beds! Travel to Lisbon was anywhere between 25 minutes and 50 minutes depending on traffic but Ubers were easy to get. It was lovely to be able to check out slightly later so we could relax by the pool on the last day and Catia was wonderfully helpful. Would definitely come back for a longer stay!
