Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Arorangi

Wow! This place looks even better than the photos, it is literally on the beach, white coral sand all the way to the steps to get inside, like a movie. We were a group of 4 adults ( myself, husband and 2 adult kids) the set up couldn’t be more perfect for this kind of family group, the master bedroom/ensuite is connected but just off the main part of the house so would suit any family with older kids that you don’t need to see to during the night. The lounge and master both have tvs with Netflix. There is a massive fridge and everything you need in a kitchen, bbq on the deck. Also loved the kitchen had all the essentials like oil, s & p, condiments etc ( heaps of air bnbs don’t have this and it’s annoying). The only thing I wanted that was missing was a coffee plunger but I bought one and donated it for future guests. The beach directly in front is calm and shallow, perfect for kids and a morning dip. Bar next door is chill except weekend but shuts promptly at 10, No problem at all.

Thank You for letting us still stay, even when you were away and can say that this was the best. Love the morning wakeup calls, even at 5 in the morning from the roosters in the area lol and would listen to this rather than the traffic along the main road.

Me and my family loved our stay at Marie’s accomodation - communication was clear, her replies were always immediate and super helpful having her mum Wendy’s contact 😇 she organised for her mum to meet us at the airport and transport some of our luggage to the airport which we so appreciated! They also offered to bake my son’s birthday cake for us which was yummy and we shared with our family on the island 🥰 and she also brought some yummy donuts on Sunday morning for us!! Bless maire and her mum! their home is close to town which was also handy - we loved being amongst the trees and Mother Nature! Just have such a peaceful and island vibe for us! Our stay was fabulous. The house was clean, tidy and in a fabulous location, right on the beach. Great for groups. Lotu was very accomadating and responded extremly quick to any questions, nothing was a hassle. The house is walking distance to Castaway and Shipwreck, either along the beach or road, 750m either way. There's a small cafe just down the road and the Falafel shack was next door. We would definetly look at booking again in the future. You can also book the seperate studio which is another room off the end with a bathroom and kitchen. I didnt see this on air bnb though, maybe I just didn't see it when initially searching but if you require more than 4 rooms this is an option.

Great stay for our family with little kids. The house was just as described in the listing. The beach out front was quiet and shallow for the kids to swim, kayak and snorkel. The pool was a very nice bonus, being fully fenced meant we could relax without having to worry about the kids. The air-con's all worked well and the kitchen was very well stocked. This place is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning ocean views! We arrived late on a stormy night and experienced rough weather for the first day and a half, and it was wonderful to be in such fabulous accommodations. We relaxed in the living room watching the giant waves crashing out the glass doors/wall, ran across the street for snacks & burgers, and were able to wander the beach when the rain paused. We stayed several other places on our trip (joined a group tour), and this was hands-down the BEST! So glad we were here for the stormy part, as we still got to enjoy our time, regardless of the weather. Our last morning, with clear weather, we enjoyed the most beautiful sunrise! You can view this from your bed, or wander out on the patio. Home is new & lovely with solid internet & great amenities; we did some light cooking & appreciated having the necessities on hand. They provide a binder with all kinds of useful info, recommendations & maps. Great, fast communication.

We had a perfect stay at Shelley & Te Aramaʻs place. The house was the perfect size for my partner and I. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and they made sure to leave lots of fresh bananas, coconuts, and lilakoi for our arrival. We landed at 1am, and our late check-in was very easy. Only a minute walk away from our favorite cafe, Soul Cafe. Mahalo nui loa, Shelley & Te Arama!

Joseph and Odette were warm and hospitable. Their place was clean and they were reachable at any point if we needed anything. Gracious hosts, highly recommend.

Jacqui’s place was fantastic! The location was amazing: just a quick drive from the airport, near (within a short or long walk) nice restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops, but set far enough from the main road where it’s very peaceful and quiet. And it’s right on the beach! And on the west side of the island - the sunsets were amazing, and the stars at night were unlike I’ve ever seen! The unit itself was great: clean and modern with every amenity you could need. I highly recommend if you’re in Rarotonga. Worth every penny and then some! Thanks Jacqui!

Fantastic!! What more can we say..just a great quiet loacation and everything exceeded our expectations. Perfect spot to relax and reconnect with mother nature. Walking out the front door and being greeted by an amazing view of the lagoon would be one of our highlights. The accomadation was a nice size with modern appliances to cook meals if you desire along with a water filter. Eateries and a store 2 minutes walk. Both Sarah and Adam are wonderful down to earth hosts We would definately recommend ..

It was a great experience.hey were very responsive to all of my enquires prior to the stay. Bill was very helpful and accomodating. He showed me all the interesting and important places on the island. TBill was very supportive since I was alone. It was very quiet and close to the beach for a walk along the beach. All eating facilities were within walking distance. It was a very convenient location for the buses going around the island. A car could be useful but not essential. The major town, Avarua was only four km away. The airport was only approximately six km away. There were paw fruits, bananas and passion fruits which were offered off the property. Bill made sure that the plate on the kitchen always made sure that fresh fruits were always on that plate. Bill was hospitable and I would highly recommend the place for either a single person or couple.

The description and photos don’t do this listing justice. The view and convenience to Muri with still being private and quiet was unbeatable. Beautiful brand new unit. Huge bathroom, lovely pool, top notch host and experience.

Lynn was an exceptional host. Thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely kind. From the moment we booked, communication was smooth and clear. She had everything perfectly prepared for our arrival, and it was easy to feel at home right away. The accommodation was spotless and well-equipped, and you could really tell that a lot of care had gone into every detail. Lynn was always quick to respond and happy to help with anything we needed, which made our stay even more relaxed. We truly appreciated her warm hospitality and would absolutely stay here again. We had a really nice stay at the Birdie condo. The view is beautiful and the hot tub was a real treat. The bed and linens were comfortable, the kitchen is well outfitted, and parking was easy. The place was one of the cleanest we've ever stayed at but we did see some ants and bugs, just life in the tropics! For us, the biggest drawback was the uncomfortable outdoor couch being used as indoor living room furniture. This was incongruous for such a nice place otherwise. Also, it was positioned oddly so that it was cramped to walk by it next to the fixed support post. Not a big deal, but just didn't feel like it fit in with the quality of the rest of the condo. The bathrooms were nice too. Clean. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, modern property. It is well layed out and the bedrooms are very spacious with comfy beds… and ceiling fans too! Would definitely stay here again. Great location, close to town and the airport. Yogi was always contactable and was very swift to get our hot water going again when the gas ran out. Thanks so much! 😊
