Holiday rentals in Avarua

This place was wonderful, the rooms were compact however had everything we needed and the outdoor area had lots of space and couches/tables for us to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. Myself and the rest of our house guest thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and could not fault the property at all. FYI, the airport is 5 minutes away & the gas station/take away & dairy 5 houses down. The ladies were lovely to keep in contact incase we couldn’t locate the property as well as checking in throughout our stay. Would love to stay here again given the chance I get to return back to Rarotonga.

My husband and I stayed at Malina’s air BnB on our Honeymoon and could not have asked for a better place to stay! We booked our stay here very last minute due to our original accommodation falling through, Malina was so accommodating to our situation and totally put my mind at ease. Our whole stay at the air BnB was exactly what we were after, it was quiet, private and had everything we could possibly need (the beautiful pool was definitely a highlight!). We are forever grateful to Malina for making our honeymoon as perfect as we could have hoped. We will definitely be back and could not recommend this stay more to other people considering it!!

This place is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning ocean views! We arrived late on a stormy night and experienced rough weather for the first day and a half, and it was wonderful to be in such fabulous accommodations. We relaxed in the living room watching the giant waves crashing out the glass doors/wall, ran across the street for snacks & burgers, and were able to wander the beach when the rain paused. We stayed several other places on our trip (joined a group tour), and this was hands-down the BEST! So glad we were here for the stormy part, as we still got to enjoy our time, regardless of the weather. Our last morning, with clear weather, we enjoyed the most beautiful sunrise! You can view this from your bed, or wander out on the patio. Home is new & lovely with solid internet & great amenities; we did some light cooking & appreciated having the necessities on hand. They provide a binder with all kinds of useful info, recommendations & maps. Great, fast communication.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful piece of paradise. Everything in the studio was very intuitive with everything needed easily accessible. The house was clean and the kitchen was well supplied with appliances etc for cooking. The area was quiet and away from more crowded areas of the island. We enjoyed the easy 10 minute walk down to the beach and local store & resturant in Kavera. Snorkelling off the beach in nearby Aroa was stunning and very calm. Maire was very friendly & so helpful, it was lovely to meet her and hear more about the island.

We felt very comfortable in Tine's accommodation. It was clean, and the private garden and shared use of the pool were especially great. Tine was very helpful, friendly, and responsive to every request. We'd love to come back!💛

Joseph and Odette were warm and hospitable. Their place was clean and they were reachable at any point if we needed anything. Gracious hosts, highly recommend.

Fantastic Stay in a Unique Container Home! My sister and I had an incredible two-week stay in this stylish shipping container home in Rarotonga. The space was well-designed, clean, and surprisingly spacious, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The host was warm, responsive, and always available if we needed anything. We loved the peaceful surroundings and how easy it was to explore the island from this location. Overall - we truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Rarotonga. Would definitely stay again!

A great place to stay. Close to town, walkable, shops and cafes within easy reach. Looking out directly to the lagoon every morning watching the whales every day was a real treat. Ian’s help with local resources and the time he spent explaining and showing us about coconuts etc and the conservation efforts being made around the island gave valuable insight into what is happening in Rarotonga. The bungalow was simple and clean, perfect for what we needed. Would stay again.
