We had a very enjoyable stay, the house was clean and comfortable and great value for our family of 4. The hosts were very responsive and came back immediately to any queries we had. The external storage for luggage was very handy for our one night stay as we arrived early in hakone and left in afternoon. One minor comment would be that it would be nice if beds were made up for arrival as it is tiring having to do this for everyone after a day on the hakone circuit. However the additional mattresses were appreciated for comfort. Also, to have some tea or coffee provided would be nice.

We had a fun and relaxing weekend in Atami with friends! The place was clean, cozy, and had a lovely view—perfect for catching up and unwinding. The host was friendly and responsive, which made our stay smooth. Just a heads-up: the house is located uphill, so getting there can be a bit of a climb, but once you’re in, it’s definitely worth it. Great vibes, peaceful surroundings, and close enough to enjoy Atami’s local seafood and attractions. Would recommend for a chill group getaway!

Kagari is a beautiful space, that made us feel at home as soon as we walked in. It’s a few minutes walk from Gora Station and there are local eateries near by - but they close quite early. Property is close to all you need to see and do in Hakone. We had a wonderful stay!

Great place, very quiet and peaceful. Easy to walk to the pirate ship terminal and a short drive from both the Mishima Skywalk and the Open Air Museum. There’s a restaurant thats 2 blocks away that doesn’t look like much from the outside but best bang for your buck Shabu Shabu anywhere.

This was our second time staying here. Everything was great and we will probably stay again!

It is a very clean and spacious inn, and the view and facilities are impeccable. I was able to create wonderful memories!

My family stayed here with my brother and his wife and we had a great time! The biggest perk was the private indoor/outdoor onsen which was lovely. The indoor tub was huge! I wish I had one like that at my house! The living area, Japanese style room, and the porch made the experience very comfortable! It was also just minutes away from a great coffee shop with food and Gora station. Gora is very hilly so you'll appreciate being so close to the station. The only "downsides" are that the upstairs bedroom is a loft so it's a little less private and means that if people are sleeping there, you can't stay up too late in the living room. Also, the one shower is only accessible through the downstairs bedroom or the porch which allows for a little less privacy. However, this was not a big issue at all. There is a privacy screen between the room with the toilet and the room with the shower and we just treated it as a wall and accessed the shower from outside. I would 100% stay again!

Wonderful wonderful host was amazing even met us on site to assist letting in also stocked Complete fridge for food and breakfast with later arrival we couldn't have asked for any more simple instructions on equipment. Also was kind enough to give us a personal tour but more importantly, the children were so hungry we did arrive very late, fridge and freezer fully stocked up with bread cereal eggs all fresh products including fruit absolutely an amazing coast kept us inform of the weather and gave good indication when we would be able to see the most luxurious home more stocked up than most hotels with Bathroom down to the smallest things of a hair bobbles for when you're using the sauna Plenty of towels would have been able to ask for a better stay only issue we wish we stayed longer thank you so much for all that you did for myself and children. It was very very very much appreciated. Will look forward to coming back next year. Take care

The house was beautiful! It had a spacious backyard with a treehouse for the kids, plus sauna and private Onsen for the adults! Location was convenient with several nice restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. Amenities were generous and suited all our needs - they even provided diaper trash bags and wet wipes which is a bonus especially for families with babies! All in all, a great place to retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I struggled to adjust the temperature of the hot water in the bath due to the source spring, but when I contacted the host, they responded politely. Thank you very much.

The grounds were very spacious, and there were many play equipment for small children to play, which was very good. We also got to meet wild deer! The room was also very clean, spacious, and full of openness. It was unfortunate that it rained on the first day, but I enjoyed it even in the room, and the next day it was sunny, so I was able to play as much as I could outside. There are also many bedrooms and can accommodate large groups, so I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

It was an excellent location, about 1 minute from the sea.There were 8 of us, including friends and family, but it didn't feel cramped and we were comfortable. The elementary school children were having a blast in the pool and playing table tennis.

We very much enjoyed our stay here ! The house is very large with 4 bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, bath tubs both indoors and outdoors and everything you need for a fantastic holiday. It is located in a peaceful forest area away from the crowds. If you have a dog, there are also plenty of facilities for your pet. Very easy to get from the house to Lake Kawaguchi and Chureito Pegoda, the 7 seas of Oshino, many temples, gardens, museums and also the F1 racetrack. If you have a car, this home is a perfect base to get everywhere. We really felt at home and enjoyed that everyone had their own bedroom with comfortable beds.

I was always reassured by the quick response.Also, the living room was spacious and we all had fun playing together!The cypress bath was also the best!
