House holiday rentals in Assateague Island

Our family has a beach house in Ocean Pines, and we are looking to purchase our own in the coming years. We have stayed in all parts of ocean Pines and love it so much, we came across this house a couple months ago and I’m so glad we did! We spend most of the summer in Ocean Pines had different rentals and will definitely be coming back specifically to this one!! it’s perfect for our small family and pet friendly! The house was small but spacious, quiet and tranquil. 10/10 highly recommend!

Lindsay and Andrew’s Summer Breeze home in Berlin met all of our expectations. We particularly enjoyed the pool, grill and outdoor amenities - which made it perfect for our family holiday weekend getaway. The house is well kept, comfortable, neatly stocked with all essential amenities as described and, is staged and modeled exactly as pictured in the photos. We appreciated a quiet retreat, off the beaten path, yet we had an easy and quick drive to stores, restaurants and to the Ocean City boardwalk. As hosts, they were very responsive and efficiently communicated what we needed to know in advance, making our stay easy and smooth. From the booking process to assisting us with a couple of adjustments, they did not hesitate to help us. If there is an opportunity for us in the future, we’d love to stay again. Beautiful spot! Great location, close to all the happenings of Ocean City, but peaceful and quiet at the house…perfect set up. Great neighborhood. The house is beautiful, all the beds very comfortable. The back deck is gorgeous, thoroughly enjoyed that space and taking the kayaks out on the canal! It’s worth bringing your own linens and towels, we packed everything into a large tote and it worked out perfectly. Very responsive and friendly host! We had a great time here and plan to return. Highly recommend!

Had the absolute best time staying at this gem. The house is stunning and Autumn was a fantastic host! The house is spacious and open. It was exactly as described but better. We couldn’t have been happier. Will definitely be back!

This is a great property! The house is gorgeous, the grounds are clean, kept and very private. The house was fully stocked with kitchenware, pool accessories, & decorated tastefully. A lot of delicate artwork and intentional decor- (if traveling with a young child, one needs to watch them closely :) Re: the beds- my 7 year old described it as “sleeping on clouds!” - very comfy! The area is close (2-3 min) to outlet shops and a bunch of restaurants on Costal Highway 1 and about a 6 min drive to the Rehoboth pier. It’s also a central location to other neighboring beach towns.

Peaceful setting to get away for the week. We had a small issue occur while staying at the house and Laura took care of it that day. She was timely with responding and communicating with us. The kids had a great time at the dock catching crabs and minnows. The pool was nice to have access to as well. We would stay here again.

Sarah’s place is AMAZING! Sarah went above and beyond being they didn’t have time with the weather to set up the new pool but went and dropped off a sprinkler and water hose for my daughter to use even though the weather never quite cooperated for us to use! Sarah was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed as well as gave great recommendations for local things! We will definitely be returning & staying here!

This was an excellent location. Very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed seeing deer and squirrels. Accommodations inside and. Out were beyond A+. Our family was very comfortable there. Close enough to Ocean City beach and yet away from the hustle and bustle. Loved it

Pamela is very hospitable! Friendly. Commutative. Her home is beautiful and you can tell she thinks of the little things. There was a small container of scrunchies in the bathroom (us women know the scrunchi struggle!). The house is squeaky clean, and we didn’t need to purchase ANYTHING other than food 🤗 which my family really appreciated! Only thing I will point out is it pitch black surrounding the house/area at night. And possibly could be this time of year or maybe location but there are flies everywhere my goodness! Even the restaurants. If visiting OC for the first time like me, please keep that in the back of your mind lol. This place was a 10/10!!

We were in for our nieces graduation from SU and this was the perfect place to stay. It reminded me so much of home! It was peaceful and relaxing. It was so nice I wish we had been able to spend more time there! Susan was an exceptional host. She was very informative, gave us helpful tips, and was very friendly. I would recommend this place to stay to anyone. Best AIR BnB I’ve been to so far!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Bobs!! We will be back! Quiet and peaceful but close to all the attractions too, just a short 20 min drive to OCMD. Perfect for families and huge yard for kids to play. Washer & dryer a huge plus! The sunrise is amazing from the dock, just a short walk and you’re there. Our favorite was the moon over the water at night, absolutely stunning. We hope to go back next year! Best place we have stayed in a long time!

We loved our stay at the beautiful cottage. Clean, charming, well decorated and the kitchen everything you need to cook your meals if you choose to. The grocery store is very near and so are the beaches. Ideal location to relax away from the traffic and crowds but at the same time close to everything. Hope to come back and stay again

The Haven was truly a gem. It was so private and secluded- just what we needed to relax and reset. Ashley was so friendly and provided so many helpful accommodations that you’d typically not find elsewhere, such as complimentary coffee and a stocked s'mores station. Collectively, I think my family most enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards to explore the bay everyday. The kids absolutely loved hunting for wildlife around the house and pond. I’ll never forget this trip!

Everything was AWESOME! Very homey, clean, great location. They had everything and even more than we needed! When we return if we need somewhere to stay and Egrets is available we will definitely book again!

We loved the Cottage on Cleveland! We plan to stay here next summer as well. We really appreciated how clean the house was!! We have had some not so good rental experiences with other companies but this one was top notch! The house was so clean and very nice - great location!!! Thanks!

Katlynn was a phenomenal host, she was quickly responsive whenever I had a question and was super flexible with me and my stay. If you’re looking for something peaceful and to feel right on at home, this is the place to go.

We love our stay here! The house had everything we needed and more. It was easy to find, and the views were amazing. We spent the whole time outside in the nature, and we loved how quiet it was. Kevin was easy to reach for any questions we had, and we appreciated his help. We would definitely come back here in the future.

We had an amazing time at Phillip’s place in Ocean Pines! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It’s located in a peaceful, wooded neighborhood that still offers easy access to Ocean City, beaches, and local restaurants. Phillip was a fantastic host—very responsive and thoughtful, making sure our stay was smooth from check-in to check-out. The back deck and cozy living space made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

5 stars! We have stayed at a number of Airbnbs in the US and Canada over the years. While we have never had a negative experience, this home exceeded ALL our expectations - a tall order indeed when traveling with 3 generations! The property struck a rare balance of serenity and fun. This was our first trip to the Chesapeake Bay and the home was a perfect example of hospitality and beauty we enjoyed around every turn of our adventure.

We needed a small place to stay for a few days and this was the perfect place for the two of us; it was cozy, spotless, well equipped for all that we needed and the decor was beachy which was perfect for the area. Jacob was quick and attentive to any question we had - it was so quiet and peaceful outside. It was a perfect getaway for us - we would highly recommend to anyone needing a nice, quiet place in the future. Thank you!!!

I chose Chincoteague and the Saltwater Cowgirls' cottage to celebrate a birthday - it was PERFECT. The cottage had character and charm in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The view of the creek was a plus, and we enjoyed watching the families of geese while having coffee on the deck in the mornings. The sunroom was a favorite place for us to chill. The kitchen was well equipped and lacked nothing. We especially loved that our furbabies were welcome - the fully fenced backyard was perfect for our active pups. We absolutely loved the wildlife refuge, the charm of the downtown shops, library and waterfront park. An added bonus - we were within walking distance of the seafood festival! April was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating - We loved staying at the cottage and hope to stay again! It will be the FIRST place we'll check for availability for our next visit to the island.

Once again, our family had an awesome stay in this beautiful home. Definitely will be back..

My first time staying at an Airbnb so wasn’t sure what to expect. Sara’s place exceeded all expectations. Always quick to respond when i had questions. Would not hesitate to book again.

We decided on a last minute Memorial Day weekend getaway and could not have gotten any luckier on this app than Shao and Ryan’s waterfront escape. The house was adorable and exactly as pictured. The master is enormous and the bed was super comfortable while the rest of the house was pristine. As nice as the house is, the real star is the yard and dock. We won the weather lottery and were out on the dock or in the kayaks from sun up to sun down. Check in was easy and they were super responsive and knowledgeable of the areas events and happenings.
