This is a diamond in the rough! Place is set up perfectly. Nick was super responsive with any answers! For what we paid it was worth every penny. The only draw back was the noise of cars echoing off the buildings, nothing the host can do about it, but honestly nothing that would stop me from going back here again and again!! Hopefully bringing the whole family next time!!

After staying at Maddie's place, I went back through the listing to see what it was rated -- and was surprised it wasn't 5-star by other reviewers. I've stayed in dozens of Airbnb properties - and this one was a winner. Clean, quiet, private, and beautiful. It was the perfect place for my husband and dog to get a bit of R&R. We took a few walks, used several of the amenities in the kitchen area, and appreciated the water pressure and temperature for the shower. And the view alone was worth 5-stars.

Our stay at Owl Ridge was great. It is so peaceful. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a place that is private -or a “staycation” away from home- this is a great place to stay. There are also plenty of restaurants in Wausau if you want to get out of the house. The kitchen is stocked with all of the basics for cooking and grilling (bring your own food, seasonings, etc).

Slice is awesome. Jared was great, and was helpful with any of the questions or needs we had. Place was just described, private, secluded. Which is what we were looking for. Only complaint was that there were lots of mosquitoes and many ticks on the dog, but we’re not in the city, We’re in the woods so can’t really complain about that,,, we had a great time..
