I stayed at Aneesh's property for a week and it was an absolute delight! The hospitality was exceptional, with Aneesh and his family going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Aneesh has been super responsive, from the time of booking, to dropping me to the nearest bus stand. The highlight was the incredible home-cooked meal, which added a personal and unforgettable touch to our stay. Highly recommend for a warm and memorable experience!

Hosts went above and beyond our expectations. Took us on a lovely nature walk. Showed us around their spice plantation and fabulous view point. Amazing hospitality. Lovely friendly family made us feel really at home. We would highly recommend Sidharths place as very good value for money in beautiful surroundings. Our room had a balcony outside with comfy seats which looked out across lush coconut palms, nutmeg trees, pepper vines up to the mountains, calm & fresh air. The bed was super comfortable, modern bathroom had hot water. We were able to really relax at Sidharths & easily access the local attractions - spice farm, elephants, tiger reserve, aruveydic massage & amazing food.

The place is clean and tidy, easy to find. However, an almirah in the room and a electric kettle are two basic amenities that were missing. But surpassing every shortcomings was Aunty's welcoming nature. She was friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Her tea was a mood lifter. The property has a beautiful garden with plenty of flowering plants. You'll also wake up to birds singing from the forest right in front of the place. overall a very peaceful stay which could be made perfect by adding a few basic amenities.

The rooms were well laid out with a bedroom, a compact sitting area and a washroom. Rooms were equipped with all the basic amenities like Television, wifi, beds had clean sheets, two pillows, two small cushion pillows and two blankets. The washrooms were well maintained, clean and had instant access to hot water. Every item whether the furniture or the linens were in top condition. The property has a scenic backdrop with a spice garden, a patio and a beautifully laid out entrance make the premises a joy to vacation in. Speaking of Joy, Mr. and Mrs. kutty and their son Alex were welcoming and accommodating as hosts. Our car broke down on the first day so Mr. Joy helped us by driving us to a nearby restaurant to get our meals packed and waiting patiently with us throughout the process. They also arranged a bonfire for us where we all sat around and shared our stories. Every morning we were served traditional yet scrumptious breakfasts native to the Kerala heartland. Overall it was a pleasure to stay here and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Kumily at the drop of a hat.

A lovely stay in a perfectly located spot. Only a few minutes to walk to the meeting place for the Periyar Tiger Reserve and amongst lovely shops and cafes. Nithin - the manager- was really helpful and friendly. The accommodation was as described and Nithin even provided us with a kettle as us Brits can’t do without our morning cuppa! We also had a balcony with a lovely view of the reserve. Would highly recommend.

Very nice stay at Thekkedy with Shibu as a very helpful and nice host. Location is very perfect and nice as Periyer is at very close proximity. The view from our first floor balcony is gorgeous at night with beholding some animal movements in nature. Shibu is really helpful arranging auto rickshaw for Thekkedy sight seeing and a cab for Alleppey. Overall a superb one night stay and love to stay again. Highly recommend.

Awesome stay with stunning views from the rooms. Their continental food and buffet spread is fantastic. All activities like Cultural programmes ( Kuchipudi) , cooking classes in the evening, campfire and their high tea with a view were very thoughtful and much appreciative. Their swimming pool is neat and outside candle light dinner spot was good though couldn’t try as it needs to be pre booked before arrival. Courteous staffs especially Harish, Aleena and Maya in the reception were very helpful throughout the stay, they were kind and easily approachable. Room service were prompt and very reliable anytime. Overall a pleasant stay at Mountain courtyard and very memorable moments .

Staying at this ecostay in the heart of a spice garden was a truly wonderful experience. Surrounded by lush green leaves, the place offers a peaceful and refreshing retreat. The hospitality of the host, Uncle and Aunty, was exceptional—they were incredibly sweet, and we enjgoyed talking to them. The staff was also very helpful, making our stay even more comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the unique highlights was the cardamom plantation within the property, adding to the natural charm. If you’re looking to escape the hustle of Thekkady, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Waking up to the sounds of birds made our mornings even more delightful. Highly recommended for nature lovers!
