Our local pub is a mile away. The nearest town, Alford, has a pub, restaurant, shops, supermarket, parks and museums.

Beautiful views from a great vantage point on Bennachie this rustic cottage is ideally located for hillwalking, sightseeing or simply getting away from it all. Only 10 minutes drive from Inverurie and a short walk over the hill from the pitodrie house hotel which offers luxury dining and a cozy bar. There is also a riding school nearby and of course all the walking trails are on your doorstep. We are pet friendly but the garden is not enclosed.

We stayed at Ross’ place for a couple of nights whilst we attended a friends wedding and we couldn’t have wanted for anything - the location was quiet and peaceful, the house was immaculately clean and had more than what we required and we felt right at home. The Clearing was an absolutely beautiful accommodation which was kept absolutely pristine! The host, David, was super kind and accommodating for our trip, and very proactive and responsive and providing taxi recommendations and checking if we needed anything during our stay. We used the property as wedding accommodation and a bridal accommodation for getting ready in the morning. It was stunning and the natural light and beautiful decor and art were a fantastic backdrop for the day! I would come back here in a heartbeat!
