However the location just off the main street still provides privacy given such convenience. Stunning Church Lodge next to City Centre

Recently refurbished this beautiful Grade 2 Listed building is located in Handbridge a very short walk from Chester City Center, the city walls and the River Dee. The house was completely renovated in 2018 to a very high standard with a beautiful bathroom including a roll top bath and shower and modern kitchen including dishwasher, coffee machine and breakfast bar. Built in 1887 the house was designed by the famous architect John Douglas and was previously owned by the Duke of Westminster

The Lodge: A special place. With private parking.

A fully refurbished, one bedroom house (king bed), with separate entrance. Beautifully furnished with all mod cons. The open plan kitchen has everything you need, including a washer/dryer and is next to the well equipped living room with large 43in SMART TV. Parking is on our private drive, three metres from The Lodge. We have just sold the The Lodge and as a result we can't accept any booking after the end of August. if you can stay before then we'd love to see you.

The cottage is within walking distance to shops, restaurants/bars as well as to the Story House, Chester market, race course, river and cathedral.
