Nous avons passé 5 jours incroyables au floating paradise. Un grand merci à Nino, Tono, Astrid et Mono pour leur gentillesse et leur bienveillance à notre égard. Nous avons pu faire tellement de choses incroyables : yoga, snorkelling, bateau, kayak, visite du sanctuaire aux tortues…. Nous avons pu déguster des petits déjeuners et plats locaux concoctés par la cuisinière. Un régal 😋

This was the last place we stayed in Bali and it was by far our favorite place. Not only is the accommodation phenomenal and beautiful, with a great view of the waterfall from the rooms, but it has a tree-house feel and is so unique. We saw a lot of wildlife, but were never pestered by anything (bugs, geckos, etc weren't a bother). But importantly, the staff were the kindest, most helpful and most accommodating staff that we had experienced in Bali. We enjoyed every meal that we had in the restaurant, and the staff are lovely to visit with. There are several recommended activities, where transportation was arranged. We have already recommended our friends and family to stay here, if they visit Bali. Thank you, Gumi Ayu! ♡

Warren is a very nice host, he is friendly, and very helpful if you want to learn more about this part of Bali. His family is also very kind. You get a very nice jungle experience at this place. You have beautiful nature and also very incredible waterfalls!

We had an amazing stay! Saw lots of wildlife including turtles, platypus and possums which was incredible right on your doorstop! Highly recommend.

Eine tolle Unterkunft. Wir haben eine Nacht im Vogelnest und eine Nacht in einem normalen Zimmer geschlafen. Ein Abenteuer das man unbedingt erleben muss. Die Anlage ist unglaublich schön angelegt, die Mitarbeiter sind super lieb und der Abholservice am ersten Tag hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Man ist etwas außerhalb der Stadt und des Trubels von Ubud, kommt aber einfach zu Fuß mit einem kleinen Spaziergang zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Unser Tipp: probiert unbedingt das Frühstück und bucht eine Massage. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen :)

bon rapport qualité-prix dans l'ensemble, très bon accueil et des super petit déjeuner, j'ai même pu manger en famille après la journée du Ramadan, il peut vous aider à faire tout type de sortie, manque peut-être une de lumière et le matelas c'est des ressorts ça pourrait être amélioré

Der Besuch war magisch. Die Abholung vom Flughafen hat funktioniert und ich wurde wundervoll von der Familie empfangen. Dewu war hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Das kleine Häuschen war wunderschön und paradiesisch. Ich hatte den Garden Room und der Ausblick von meinen Häuschen war wirklich atemberaubend. Jeden Morgen gab es hausgemachtes balinesisches Frühstück aufs Zimmer serviert. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Ausflüge die ich mit Dewu waren wunderschön. Da ich alleine am reisen bin, war es gut einen Guide an seiner Seite zu haben, der alles erklären kann. Ausserdem machte er wunderschöne Videos und Fotos von mir. Da diese Unterkunft eher etwas ländlicher liegt und nicht direkt im Zentrum, kann man sich da super entspannen und runterkommen. Es gibt einen Pool wo man sich abkühlen kann. Ich bin super zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt. Es gab auch immer die Möglichkeit Dinner aufs Zimmer zu bekommen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super.

My stay at Maya Eco Retreat was truly exceptional and easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. This stunning bamboo hotel in Bali offers a unique combination of comfort, elegance, and tranquility that made our honeymoon unforgettable. The pool area was beautifully designed and personalized exactly as I had envisioned, adding a special touch to our stay. The floating breakfast was not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious, making for a perfect start to each morning. The staff were consistently attentive and approachable, always ready to assist with any requests. Their genuine hospitality made us feel welcomed and truly at home throughout our entire visit. I highly recommend Maya Eco Retreat to anyone seeking a serene and luxurious getaway in Bali. It exceeded all our expectations, and I confidently rate it a perfect 10 out of 10.

I initially booked this room for just one night, primarily because there were no existing reviews or ratings to give me an idea of its quality. I wanted to see it for myself! After experiencing just one night here, I was so impressed that I extended my reservation for the remainder of my stay in Lombok. There are many reasons for this, but the most important ones were the immaculate cleanliness of the room, the exceptionally helpful and cooperative staff, and the warm welcome I received from the owners. It truly made my trip to Lombok even more enjoyable, and I highly recommend it!

Staying at Stephen and Philamae’s home was an experience! It was easily one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. It was like a creative’s haven and I left filled with inspiration. Every detail in the home was so well thought out and intentional. From a fairy lit labyrinth for the evening, to paintings you can get lost in, to such an incredible view (I can’t stress this enough) that is just divine to catch the sunrise and sunset, this was a place that just kept giving. You could get lost in the detail, and the view. There were plenty of amenities. The shared spaces were incredible to linger in. Everything was well stocked. I had memorable conversations with the host and helper that were so warm and insightful. Expect to leave feeling rejuvenated! It really is such an incredible haven. I’m so grateful that I had the chance to experience it! Thank you so much Stephen and Philamae. I hope to come back soon!

This is by far the best Airbnb my husband and I have ever stayed at. This isn’t just an Airbnb it’s and experience.. to completely leave the hustle and bustle of Bali and find yourself perched up on a beautiful mountain overlooking the most gorgeous lake with little town below. This honestly felt like we were in France, it helped that Ludos and Stephanie and Manon made it feel exactly that. A home away from home. My husband and I very rarely do shared accommodation but this was beyond amazing. This families hospitality, their quirkiness, their helpfulness is beyond words. Even so they assisted my husband to a local doctor when he was unwell, they gave us countless contacts so that our time there was seamless. And most importantly… the FOOD. We didn’t go out for dinner or breakfast once.. simply because the home cooked meals EXUDED love and flavour, all I can say is if you’re on the edge and not sure.. book it 🤣 Thank you again guys, we’ll miss you and we’ll be back 💕💕

Een plek om nooit te vergeten! Ik heb twee maanden verbleven op deze prachtige Airbnb in Bali, en ik kan oprecht alleen maar positieve dingen zeggen. Het personeel is ongelofelijk vriendelijk en zorgzaam — ze zorgen ervoor dat je je meteen thuis voelt. Elke ochtend stond er een heerlijk ontbijt voor me klaar, perfect verzorgd en altijd met een glimlach geserveerd. De kamer was super comfortabel, mooi ingericht met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een aangenaam verblijf. De locatie is ideaal: midden in de natuur, heerlijk rustig, maar toch maar tien minuutjes van het centrum vandaan. Je hebt dus echt het beste van beide werelden. Ik raad deze plek zonder enige twijfel aan. Het was een unieke ervaring waar ik met heel veel plezier op terugkijk. Perfect voor langere verblijven, maar ook als je er maar een paar dagen bent: je wordt gegarandeerd in de watten gelegd!

Putri is incredibly hospitable and communicative. The staff went above and beyond with all my requests, ensuring my stay was both enjoyable and comfortable. The lodge is extremely beautiful and one of a kind with stunning views and a peaceful/relaxing vibe. The interior is designed beautifully with unique features that you won't find elsewhere. I would love to come back as soon as possible! Thank you so much for having us :)

Die Unterkunft besteht aus mehreren unterschiedlichen Hütten, wodurch man eine sehr hohe Privatsphäre genießt. Wir waren in der weißen Hütte am Fluss untergebracht. Diese hat eine Wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Reisfelder. Der Hygienestandart ist für die Gegend gut. Wirklich hervorzuheben ist, dass es immer kostenlos Trinkwasser gab. Der Service von den Angestellten ist einfach toll! Wenn man ein paar ruhige Tage in der wunderschönen Natur von Bali möchte ist das eine hervorragende Möglichkeit. Ausflüge nach Lovina, Singaraja, Gitgit, Sepumpul... Dauern alle mit dem Roller maximal 40min.

Was an amazing get away for myself, the wife & our 2 fur babies. First ever trip away from home with the dogs & the place delivered such an exceptional location for a dog friendly place to stay. Amazing amenities & the location was stunning. Felt like a getaway vacation where we could truly relax while not having to worry about the dogs, as they were with us the whole time! But we still felt we could relax & enjoy some us time! Will definitely be staying here again! Thanks for a memorable night ❤️

Place was so beautiful l, we arrived early and they were able to hold bags until room was ready. Smoothie bowls were delicious. We did a tour which was also very nice and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay.
