Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Avoca Beach

Great location with the beach and cafes only a short walk away. The property was neat and tidy, and my boys both appreciated all the books and games in their bedroom. The beach toys left outside were also greatly appreciated.

The Glasshouse is a amazing place to getaway and have peace and quiet. 45 minutes from Sydney. 10 minutes by boat to the marina for morning coffee. I have stayed all round the World in Air BnB's and George is the best host ever, Patrick and Liam are your contacts on the river and live locally, nothing is ever a problem. Highly recommended.

Great toddler friendly space inside and out, all useful cooking and play/beach bits and pieces

This was a really great place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book there again. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed and centrally located….highly recommend!

Sandy is a great host, made everything very easy for us to use, ping pong table and arcade machine was fun, fire place in the backyard made for a chilled space.

Cassandra was an amazing host and her place was beautiful. Everything was super clean and she let us check in/out flexibly. The place was very accomodating for our large group stay over the long weekend. The place was fully stocked with everything our group needed for a relaxing stay - fireplace, games, speaker, daybed and outdoor furniture. The bialetti cafeteria was a highlight!

Judy and Murray were impeccable hosts. They accommodated our booking at nearly the last minute for a week and communicated immediately. They asked about our preferences for breakfast and were kind enough to pick up a couple items for us ahead of time. Their home was easy to find and we had no problems parking, getting in, or using the space. The cabin has won awards for its design and is extremely cozy. The air/heating worked well, which was great for warm days and cold nights. We did have a small hitch with the WiFi while we were there, but our hosts did everything they could to rectify this issue; most of the problem was due to network upgrades being done in the area. Judy and Murray were amazing hosts, very gracious, incredibly responsive, and had lots of great suggestions for places to go and things to do. I recommend the walk to Crackneck lookout, which was a relatively easy walk (lots of uphill at the end) and a breathtaking view of the ocean!

We had a wonderful stay — the house truly felt like a home. The beds were super comfy with lovely linen, and everything was spotless when we arrived. We especially loved using the fireplace in the evenings; it made the space so cozy and warm. The deck had stunning views, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea. Highly recommend this stay — we’d definitely come back!

Lovely hosts and such a lovely spot. It was private and neat and had everything we needed. Lots of thoughtful touches and breakfast foods for us. It was cosy and cute. Thanks for having us Noelene and Peter, its a reasonable price and we would love to stay again soon.

Beachousesix was very well appointed with amazing ocean views. It was clean, quiet & within around a 10 minute walk to restaurants & shops. There was plenty of street parking also. I would love to stay here again if in Terrigal. Thanks Tim

We had a fantastic stay at Chris’s beachfront apartment in Avoca, perfect for our family of five! The apartment was clean, well equipped, and had a great coastal feel with a spacious deck. Beautiful views and a large grassy area for the kids to play added to its charm. Chris, the host, was very helpful and organised, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for a peaceful coastal getaway.

We had a magical stay at Madeline’s beachfront property- she was so accommodating with check in and check out and made it so easy for us! Madeline’s property offered so many extra , thoughtful inclusions and kitchen / fridge pantry items to make your arrival welcoming- loved the “ sweet treat” too!! The electric blankets were wonderful as it was winter- very cosy indeed! The view is stunning and so relaxing sitting in the swinging chair on the balcony …. We highly recommend Madeline’s exceptional property for your stay on the beach!

Bernadette’s place is a great find! Beautiful view overlooking the pool and lake, and the complimentary coffee/tea/cookies were a nice touch. Bed was also super comfy! Would definitely stay here again

A wonderful weekend spent here, view of Brisbane Water from balcony. Short walk to scenic waterfront, Gosford Sailing Club, Fisherman’s Wharf, and close to Gosford and Erina Fair, Terrigal beach and other attractions. Quiet, comfortable and lovely decor. All amenities needed for a comfortable stay in the apartment. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks Shubo.

We had a delightful stay - the comfortable apartment was centrally located within easy walk to transport, local attractions and dining spots. Appreciated the cereal breakfast, comfortable stretcher for added bedding and the kitchen which was well equipped. What a great apartment! Close to everything we needed during our stay, loved how close it was to coles and a few other shops. Walking distance to the beach and four pines park- thanks for letting us stay in your home!

We stayed at Daniel’s place as a family with 2 young kids. We had a long drive to get there and arrived late so I couldn’t quite work out the check in instructions I messaged Daniel and he replied instantly helping me through it! Lovely large apartment directly across from the beach. Lovely location a bit quieter than the other end but a short walk to everything. There’s a few flights of stairs which we were aware of prior to booking, was a bit tricky with the kids prams and stuff but to be expected! I can’t fault the Airbnb and loved how responsive and welcoming Daniel was :) Bonus that there’s garaged parking big enough for a 4WD. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a pleasure it was to stay in this spacious, comfortable and well equipped home. Emily provides everything you need right down to umbrellas. The beautiful views over Whale Beach added a fabulous touch to this perfect airbnb. Emily and David were quick to respond, always helpful, and throughout my 10 day stay ensured that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Northern Beaches.

Exactly as described, and exactly as looks in the photos. Lovely 2 bedroom apartment for us to stay in with our daughter while visiting our family on the Nothern Beaches.

From the very beginning of the booking to the end of the trip she always was responsive and so easy to communicate. This was a special trip for our famkly as it was my niece’s first outing since her birth and we were very scared bht we felt right at home. The house was spacious, comfortable, and big enough to accommodate 6 people comfortably. The best thing I enjoyed was the proximity to the general convenience store right opposite to the building, made our lives very easy. The peak best thing is the proximity to light rail which we used like everyday cause no one wants to drive in cith at peak hours. Overall, if ever chance comes and I have the option I would definitely be coming back. Thankyou Penny for the lovely stay from my whole family.
