Holiday rentals in Azhiyur

Tucked away in a quiet lane , place is neat and clean, good wifi, AC (extra charges), and best of all, truly pet friendly too! So it was ideal for our December end holiday for our family of four and our little min pin. Upstairs Cottage where we had booked is private with a pretty big terrace which doubles as a dining space, and great for watching the start studded night sky! Rooms are also available in the property, which has lot of greenery. Relaxing! Ideal for a beach holiday as the property is only ten minutes walk from the clean, quiet beach. no hawkers or shops here. Pristine sea, hope it stays like this ! Carry your own toiletries. beach towels/mats if you like to spend extended time at the beach as we did. Host is very responsive and we had options of South Indian home cooked lovely food, (appam, stew, rice, curry) as well as North Indian roti, tasty sabzi made by the very helpful energetic Suraj and his wife Vasu. Reasonable charges for food.

The location of the airbnb was serene. Great views and well kept place. Apart from the niggles with the bugs during evening time. Stay was peaceful. The helper on site at the property was very helpful and proactive. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

I was not able to call the host until we reached the property. But then I realised the caretaker wasn't informed about our booking, although it was made a long time back! But she ensured we got checked in within ten minutes of arriving at the location. However, I think the host should have informed the caretaker of the booking in advance! The property is nicely kept, offers great privacy, and a view of the sea from that balcony! We enjoyed the serene ambience very much.

Property was absolutely clean and we didn't feel to call and check on anything since everything was in place.Many many thanks to Dev who was in touch with us from the beginning to end and guiding us to visit the places and restaurants which are more popular and worth. It is a good place and you can have a nice time working and living here. All facilities are there to make this a vivid coliving - a nice kitchen, a garden area, spacious couches and a common desk area. (The pictures are 100% real). I regret that I had no real contact to the other guests though during my short 3 days stay. But when I ran into a gathering of Athul with his friends I got invited to join and felt like an old friend immediately – indian hospitality at its best. The place is in walking distance from downtown with a good selection of restaurants, shops, markets and the railway station. It's a residential area still so if you're planning on activities like going to the beaches be prepared to take a Rikshaw.

This was an absolute lovely place to stay. Also the care taker was really helpful and always available. The food was very homely and damn delicious. Can't have any complaints. The property was bang on location. It felt so peaceful. No disturbance at all. I absolutely love this place. Would definitely recommend this place any number of times. I stayed at this beautiful place for 2 days, and it was an incredibly peaceful experience. Surrounded by nature and far from the city's hustle, it's the perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and relax in a calm environment. Kavitha was very responsive and made sure everything was well taken care of. The food served was simple, homely, and delicious – just what you'd want when you're away from the city. One thing to keep in mind is that the property is located outside the city, with the nearest market about 20 km away. But that's also what makes it so serene and special – you're truly disconnected and immersed in nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking to spend some quiet time and recharge in a peaceful setting!

A home away from home. An amazing place to stay in Kannur with peaceful surroundings. Ample space for a family of six and car park too. The house is well maintained and Divya takes pride in keeping the place clean and hygienic. We stayed for six days and our stay was amazing. The location is very close to Payambalam beach and within a short drive there are many good restaurants and sight seeing places. A must stay location when in Kannur and you will get the worth of every penny you pay. Thank you Divya for a wonderful stay. Will be back soon.
