The large balcony has a breath-taking view of the island of Sao Jorge and the canal and also views of bays and parishes on the rugged and steep northern coast of Pico island. You see and hear the Atlantic Ocean waves and the birds in their harmonious songs. In the common area you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen in an open space concept with living and dining areas that invite you to special and memorable alfresco meals watching the sunset - you will never forget it - or relax with your favourite drink on the loungechairs… The house has large glass doors that open the interior to the outside. Architecture is my passion. To experience the space in real life, I sometimes build houses and live in them until new visions take hold of me. I am willing to share some of my ideas with architecture lovers. One of them is a house "Astrolabio Refugio" on Sao Miguel in the Azores. We want our guests to feel "at home" from the very first moment. We built this house from scratch for our family. It was crafted by an architect with extensive experience and built with charm, quality and the simplicity of those who like to be in nature.
