Beautiful old building apartment in Stuttgart

This beautiful old building apartment in Bad-Cannstatt is a perfect starting point for many great experiences in and around Stuttgart. Wilhelma, Rosensteinpark and Neckar are right at your doorstep. From the Rosensteinbrücke metro stop, you are in the center in 8 minutes. Bad-Cannstatt train station for suburban trains and regional expressions is about 10 minutes by foot. For a bit of nature, Lake Max-Eyth can be reached in 10 minutes. There is one double bed and one sofa bed for one extra person.

2 rooms, bathroom. Our vacation apartment is located in the Stuttgart district "Bad Cannstatt", in a quiet residential area. Our vacation apartment was renovated and refurnished in 2020 and 2023! The residential building from 1936 was completely renovated between 2014 and 2018. The vacation apartment is located on the garden floor, with access to the garden terrace and its own entrance. A covered outdoor seating area and large garden with terrace invites you to relaxed, enjoyable times.

Eine Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen! :-) Sie liegt im Stuttgarter Osten unweit des Cannstatter Wasens, des Daimler Museums sowie der Porsche Arena. Die Lage ist außerordentlich ruhig, eingebettet in herrliche Natur und dennoch sehr zentral. Man erreicht mit dem Auto oder Bus/Bahn in max. 5 min. die Stuttgarter Innenstadt. Vor dem Haus sind Parkplätze vorhanden, die nächst gelegene Bahn liegt nur ein paar Gehminuten von der Unterkunft entfernt. Der Wasen ist ebenfalls gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Stay at the Altenburg/Cannstatt

The rooms are located in a terraced house on the Altenburg in Bad Cannstatt. That's where my husband and I live. You reach the accommodation via a shared staircase, but have your private area with kitchen, bathroom and toilet. High ceilings with a view of the beams give the apartment a cozy atmosphere. From here you can see the TV tower and reach both the city center and Bad Cannstatt in less than 15 minutes. Wilhelma, the stadium and the Mercedes Museum are easily accessible.

The apartment is only a 5-6 minute walk from the nearest tram stop (Züricherstrasse). The Wasen site (folk festival) and the city center can be easily reached by train and taxi in less than 20 minutes. Shops, pharmacy, post office & restaurant, 20 minutes walk (Naststrasse, Römerkastell). Our guest area is not suitable for children

As a solo guest with limited German, I appreciated staying in a home where I felt safe and received a personal welcome when I arrived. I enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, and found it an easy and pleasant walk from the Echterdingen train station. (I was tired of buses.) The room was refreshingly simple and sparkling clean. There are only positive things to say about this place. The location is excellent: right near a tram stop, which makes it very easy especially for guests without a driver's license to get to the city center of Stuttgart quickly and conveniently. The room was fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The modern design and exceptional cleanliness were particularly convincing. A small point that was a little unusual at first is the reception, which is in the cafe, but after a short time you can easily find your way around. Overall a great stay, and I'd definitely love to come back!
