The beautiful, historic staircase is characterized by old sandstone and oak stairs and by impressive stained-glass windows with Art Nouveau elements. In the villa is also the Qube garden with a 200 sqm sun terrace and extensive lounge equipment. The Eagle has been welcoming you since 01 September 2025! 2 years of planning and almost 3 years of construction time were needed to make the 18th century Gasthof Adler fly again. On the 1st floor, 2nd floor and 3rd floor, the golden eagle invites you to stay above the historic rooftops of Markdorf. A total of 14 1-room apartments, two 2-room apartments and two 3-room apartments were created on 3 floors.

Guests pay extra usual tax of 3,80 ER per person/night.

Single room with TV (Hotel Ochsen)

Functionally furnished single rooms await you and offer comfortable accommodation for a short break or business trip to Überlingen on Lake Constance. The standard rooms are usually located to the pedestrian zone or to the courtyard of the Hotel Ochsen. Rooms with lakeview or balcony have to be enquired and booked directly at the hotel (via mail or telephone).
