I really enjoyed my stay at Sachin's place. They were very welcoming and I felt right at home. The unit had everything you could need, cooking utensils, AC, TV, washer (in the unit), microwave, fan and they were very responsive if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend Sachin's place and will stay again when I'm in Kathmandu.

The place is right in the middle of Thamel. So it is very easy to move around. It is a sixth floor without lift. For me this was ok. Very polite and helpful host.

I stayed at Holiday Home for more than a month, and this is a perfect place for such a long stay, or more. The kitchen is much larger than I thought from the description. The room is large also, well furnished, perfectly clean, and bright. The Fewa lake can be seen from the balcony, and is quite close (a few minutes). So if you wish to spend some time on Lake Front and in the tourist street (Lakeside), Holiday Home is very well located, while being in a quiet place. I didn't see Pampha, who was away for vacations, still the welcoming (by Radha) was very good. If I have the opportunity to go back to Pokhara for a long visit, I'll try to rest in this place.

Had a fantastic stay! The property is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. It’s clean, well-maintained, and has a cozy, welcoming feel. Dolma was a super host—friendly & attentive. Highly recommend!

It was very easy for us to stay and visit nearby places. No interruption from Deepti and last but not the lease , 'laasa'(pet dog) - he will also greet you whenever you came back to room.

Naba is a great host! He was traveling during my stay, but he consistently checked in to make sure my stay was going well. The apartment is superb. It's large, super clean, and well equipped. The location is a 15-20 minute walk to the main tourist areas, yet is in a beautiful, gated home. There are plenty of good restaurants and eateries nearby to choose from. I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it.

Thank you Sushil and family! I had such a wonderful time! As a solo female traveler, safety is always the most important thing to me. I felt very safe during my stay and would highly recommend it to other female travelers. The location is perfect, a straight walk down the road gets you to the lake and a few minutes hike nearby takes you to a beautiful view overlooking the lake. I book this apartment the day of and everything was ready to go within hours. I had everything I needed and they were more than happy to help me and answer my questions. I loved getting to know Sushil and his family and cannot wait to come back again!

I love this place! Riwaz was so helpful, he was here to meet me even though I arrived quite late in the evening. He's been a great host the entire time, so easy to communicate with. The space looks exactly like the pictures, the location is beautiful, super close to many temples and great restaurants, everything in walking distance. I loved staying here ✨

This charming, cozy room was located in a gated complex. There is a kitchen and bar located directly on the property that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef Nir will also be opening a bakery very soon. The location is one block behind the stupa and there is no shortage of restaurants and shopping. Sonam was exceptionally helpful in responding to my questions.

great place , great hosts. They have two sets of accomodation the 3bhk penthouse is basically the whole second floor for you. along with its beautiful balcony. space: they have a limitation of 6 guest and the space is more than enough for that. each room has its own attached washroom except 1 where the washroom is just adjacent to the door accessibility: RIGHT ON THE MAIN ROAD. very serene and quiet. cleanliness: the house was super tidy when we got there, and was restored in the same state whenever we asked for a clean up. host : very sweet and welcoming, their chicken thali is a must try, we arrived late for checkin and it was pouring that day so we asked our host to cook for us (owns a restaurant on the ground floor) and the food was amazing. area: you might feel it's secluded based on its position on the map, IT IS NOT. 3-4 great restaurant and diners along the road. if you don't have any vehicle , install indrive. this place is 10 min cab ride (~300 npr)to the lakeside

IF YOU’RE READING THIS PLEASE COME STAY HERE! I was fortunate to meet a friend from Norway at a vipassana meditation retreat in America who had been here and told me about it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future. Thank you Kamal and family, you are wonderful!

Dawa and his family made me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I arrived. I had a wonderful time getting to know each of them and really felt like I was a part of their family during my time there; they are all very warm and generous. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. I was able to spend time in any areas of the house (including the roof which had a beautiful view) but also had my privacy if I needed it. Dawa made sure I had everything I needed, helped me to plan my days with great tips in and out of the city, and spent a whole day with me showing me around. The family was very generous in giving me rides in and out of the city and to the airport. I was able to learn a lot about Nepali culture by spending time with them, sharing meals with them (from their own garden) and experiencing their daily life. I would highly recommend staying at Dawa's homestay and hope I will be able to return there as well!

My son and I stayed at Rabin's unit for two weeks in February because my son was playing a tennis tournament nearby. About the place: We stayed at the unit with the attached kitchen and bathroom - the unit is exactly as in the photographs, clean, roomy and has a small kitchenette. Rooms were cleaned once a week, and fresh linen and towels were provided. What struck me the most is that Rabin is the most genuinely nice and helpful person I've met. For example, when my son's shoes gave way in the midst of the second week, Rabin personally assisted me in getting them repaired. Rabin, his lovely wife, and his wonderful parents made us feel at ease and safe - they took excellent care of us! added bonus: Rabin is a good cook!

Sanjeeb and his family are helpful and nice. House is clean and you can feel as at home. The house is near the street and you can buy anything easily by walk distance. If you like cooking, it is a very recommended location to stay. Would like to stay next trip to Nepal.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by its modern elegance and spacious layout. The location is also perfect, within walking distance to the famous Boudhanath stupa and restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable home in the heart of the city.

Our family of four stayed comfortably for three weeks.Sometimes, my five-year-old son will play ball in the yard, and sometimes he will watch TV.They have a white dog, very tame, and their one-year-old daughter loves to go to the yard to find it.The neighbors nearby are very friendly, there are supermarkets on the street, and shopping is convenient.On the hill, there is a lively basketball court with many local children and teenagers playing. It costs 50 rupees to play, and the atmosphere and culture on the court are very peaceful.There aren't many restaurants nearby, but I recommend a cafe called Bake & Brew, which has good deli food.There are also many good restaurants on the street of the Chinese Embassy.The owners of the house are very friendly, and we feel that the owners respect each other's family space and care about our children.We have been taken care of and helped by the owner for the past three weeks.We are now back in Taiwan, and miss the owner and his family while writing this review.I wish you all peace and health!I also wish the next guest a harmonious time here.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy and beautiful accommodation. The location was perfect—convenient and close to everything. The room is not bad, I like the small sofa at the door, and there is a small bed in the living room.The bathroom is a little bit old, it is recommended to install some hooks, if you also go in the winter, take a shower in the afternoon or evening, there may be no hot water late.The kitchen is large, but the lights are out and one light is a bit dark at night.The landlord is very friendly. A lot of trips and activities are arranged and tickets were arranged and tickets were very convenient. The condiments were also taken from the landlord's room upstairs. Overall, it was very good. There was no hot water👍 at night. I hope to remind future travelers to avoid embarrassment.😅

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me so seriously.My room was on the 5th floor, but they carried my luggage with me and told me how to get to other places to go, recommended shops, etc.Cleaning is done once a week, and the garbage will be collected outside the room. The bathroom was beautiful and hot water, so I was able to take a shower every day comfortably. It was a really comfortable and good space to see the Himalayas from the balcony when the weather was good. The warm hospitality of the owner and family made some wonderful memories.Thank you!

Manish’s apartment was as per the description. It’s a cozy apartment with every facility you need. Cold evening in Kathmandu was not a problem with A/C and a heater making the apartment warm. Security was very nice. Sumit from casa deyra, was also greatwith communication. No hassle in check-in and check-out. Overall, very nice stay. Would definitely book this place for my next visit and recommend for my friends.

Felt right at home during my shirt stay. The host goes above and beyond to ensure you're comfortable. The Christmas dinner by the fire was warm a surprise and I would love to come back for it.
