Holiday rentals with breakfast in Bairrada DOC

Super Happy, the lady who received us was a candy! Breakfast outside the door of the house, large terrace only for us and very clean swimming pool! I really loved it, I will certainly return!

Domingo and his wife Olinda are absolutely gems that I will always treasure in my Heart! I had a lot of questions initially before booking and they were kind to answer everything I needed to know! My stay was super peaceful, the little house was cool on a warm summers day and I slept very good in the bed! It was a blessing to receive home grown yummies from the farm (Potatoes, tomato, apples, grapes, herbs...) and I took some walks into the stunning nature behind the house. I would return there in a heartbeat. The only thing I did not check before booking (which turned out to be a good thing) was that theres NO WIFI - this would't bee something for working travelers that rely on good internet. Also I'd only book in the summer as theres only one coal oven in the kitchen but no other heating in bedroom. This stay is ideal with car. I stayed 5 days without car and I was so grateful that Olinda took me with her to farmers market and supermarket so I had enough food for my stay :) Loved it

We had an amazing time here! So wonderful setting and peaceful. All the amenities we could imagine. Exactly what we were looking for when we would stay near Coimbra for one of us to work there and the rest of the family have a great time. We went around and discovered the surroundings and found both good restaurant and shops a short drive away. We bathed in the biological pool and also had fun with tadpoles, lizards and other things you could see. The river at your fingertips was also a lovely place to be at. We picked grapefruits from the trees and eggs from the hens. Helena was an amazing host and thought of us right away when there was a power outage in all of Portugal. We felt safe and cared for. One of the beds is very hard but it was possible to solve ok with some cushions. We would be glad to come back!

lovely, quiet country get-away. We stayed in March, but especially summer would be great for the wonderful swimming pool/area. The fresh, warm rolls for breakfast were fantastic, cold cuts, cheese, juice, milk, trade, instant coffee and lots of fresh fruit provided are a nice touch! the kitchen is basic, but sufficient. wifi is an older version but worked most of the time. the shower water is nice and hot. We checked in early evening and had some needs; the host responded very friendly and quickly. Enjoy your stay!

Really nice place, comfortable and clean. Central location, walk distance to everything. Bed clothes, towels and kitchen equipments with extremely quality.

Our stay at Casa Museu was great despite us staying there for only one night , we will remember the place for a long time because the decor makes us feel like we are coming back to another time . We really like our stay! Mrs. Lira is very friendly and always available for everything. We were entitled to breakfast consisting of ham, cheese, milk, butter and every morning Mrs. Lira left us fresh bread. The space is very pleasant, the pool is great and the farm is all very beautiful! The farm kittens are all very friendly and came to ask for parties every day. We recommend it and plan to return 😊

The apartment is impeccably clean and decorated with a multitude of objects, painting statues...I enjoyed very much the proximity to the ocean and its beaches as far as the eye can see. Have a drink while admiring this grandiose show every day,what better way to feel good? I recommend it.

What a great experience to be able to stay here. You feel like the king (or queen). The owners will pamper you and help you with everything. They were ready with a piece of cake for us! The accommodation is also pleasant in terms of space, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Even with use of swimming pool and with breakfast. So couldn't be better!

The apartment was spotless and fully equipped, it was not missing any details! One of the cleanest places I've ever been to. In addition, Lucia we leave variety of fruit, juice, milk, etc. for breakfast. It was a real luxury to stay in his apartment. Thank you so much! We will be back!!!

Nelly and Gerard were wonderful hosts! Their place was exactly as pictured, and the location was perfect for exploring both Aveiro and Costa Nova. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the garden and swimming pool. I would highly recommend staying here!

Quinta da Fonte Riba is the ideal place for a quiet stay in the middle of nature. The room was in great condition, the pool area is very nice and the farm itself looks like a small village. In addition to all this, Fabrice and Marie are excellent hosts, very attentive and available. We loved the breakfast prepared by them!

We had an excellent stay with Briony and Robyn’s. They were amazing to talk to and gave us lots of history on the place. They welcomed us and made us feel at home. They were extremely accommodating. Do not hesitate to book a stay at Jonah and Sonia's bed and breakfast. First, the breakfast is excellent and generous. Second, the room itself and all the amenities are top-notch, comfortable, stylish, and cozy. The location was also great and close to the city center. Granted, there is a lot of elevation change going to and from and city center, but that's a very small price to pay for staying in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Coimbra, which is, of course, built on a hill. Jonah and Sonia were also very gracious hosts, offering to give us recommendations and checking in to see that we were comfortable. Such a far better experience than staying in a hotel or traditional Airbnb. Also, can confirm there is ample street parking nearby.

Beautiful location and very peaceful! Our hosts thought of every detail to make us comfortable and gave great restaurant recommendations. The morning breakfast was spectacular and everything was delicious and homemade! The perfect retreat, only wish we could’ve stayed longer!
