Águeda is known for its “umbrella sky project” program that takes place during Agitágueda, July and other activities throughout the year. There are river beaches, Alfusqueiro, Redonda and Bolfiar 8 km away. In Aveiro, known for its navigable canals (Venice of Portugal), with typical boats, the "moliceiros." 5 minutes from Aveiro, the beaches of Costa Nova and Barra, white sand beaches.

A former Adega grape press has been transformed into a beautiful family home with a private outdoor terrace, garden & BBQ within a stunning historic Quinta estate including swimming pool, gardens and cascading olive orchards. It's a 10min walk through the village to the river with beaches and a café whilst charming Coja town is a 5min drive and includes several restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bank. A multitude of historic sights and outdoor activities are catered for in the surrounding area.

One of the most photographed homes in the cities historic center is not only a place to stay but an experience. Local handmade tiles and embroidery decorate the home to celebrate local history. This cozy house full of natural light has a private patio. Centrally located on a quiet road it is close to all amenities yet allows for a well deserved rest. Free parking, the train station and walking trails are all close by. A fresh duvet cover and quality bedding are a must for every guest.

The 'Adobe House' is a traditional building of the Aveiro District, and is located in a small village near Oliveira do Bairro, in the centre of Portugal, at 25km from the coast line, near Aveiro, Vista Alegre, Águeda and Coimbra. The surrounding areas include the Atlantic, river beaches, fields, forests, the Pateira lagoon, Curia Thermal spa, the national velodrome of Anadia amongst other places. The region is well known for its wines and its gatronomy and is ideal to relax or work.

We are open to reservations and in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are currently in effect at all the properties that we manage. Casa do Mercado is situated in the heart of Aveiro, this typical house is surrounded by many local shops, restaurants, coffee shops and terraces. Around the house, there are many nocturn life until 2 am(weekend) or 10 pm(week).

It is a quiet space, surrounded by pure nature, very inviting. Ideal for those looking to rest and enjoy a unique landscape. The 2 bedrooms are independent: the main house has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and 1 kitchen/living room with a sofa bed; the other consists of 1 bedroom/living room (one bed is a sofa bed) and 1 bathroom. Magnificent outdoor space to enjoy the surroundings, grill, and enjoy your meal.
