A good base for visitors who wish to explore Connemara & the West of Ireland while still feeling the comfort of home. Suitable for couples, adventurers, business travellers, and families.

Adorable cabin in the countryside

Bluebird Cottage is a quaint little haven 8km from Westport town. Its off the beaten track a little, and if you like that sort of thing and the only sounds will be mother nature's animals and birds calling out to each other in the surrounding countryside. It's a 10min drive to Westport, 1 hour to Knock Airport, Achill, Galway city and Connemara with an abundance of activates / shopping / dining on the doorstep. So we are very centrally located in the West. Peace and Tranquillity Ahoy!

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

Have fun with the whole family or friends at this stylish place. There are 3 bedrooms in the house - one with a king size bed, another with a double bed and the third one is with two single beds. There is dedicated office space as well and a walking closet, equipped with iron, ironing board and steamer. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room provides plenty of seating spaces. You can enjoy your time with friends and family in this nicely decorated house. Have a lovely stay.

Showing off its beautiful views of the woods from its own private enclosed decking area. It boasts its own off-street parking and private entrance to allow guests to come and go at their leisure. This is a small yet bright and airy studio chalet with a large veranda that serves as an extension of the living area allowing for alfresco dining, relaxing down-time overlooking a natural, calming vista or an opportunity for some early morning yoga stretches for those so incline.The setting is tranquil and secluded, approx 7km from Westport town and 2 km from a local shop. Food is supplied for a light continental style breakfast.
