This was the second stay at Beate's place and I found it even better than the first time. The house is well kept and clean. I was Durban for the Comrades Marathon and the place was very well equipped for my needs. The location has many options for running. Beate gave me good guidance on safety and where to get specific items I needed to buy. I hope to be back soon.

Our family's stay at Dawn's seaside home was absolutely amazing. From the moment we booked, Dawn's communication was exceptional, providing clear instructions while genuinely caring about our needs. When we arrived, the place was pristine, like a brand new home prepared just for us. Check-in was easy, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stress-free stay. The amenities exceeded our expectations, from the fully equipped kitchen to the plush towels and high-quality bedding. Dawn's home is a dream for those seeking tranquility, and yet conveniently near attractions and restaurants. The value we received was outstanding, with comfort, views, and exceptional hospitality. Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

What an absolutely amazing place, totally worth it i can not use anyother words but stunning ,stunning ,stunning!! I was extremely impressed by the entertainment my little one had with all the toys. That was a big plus and the house was in such great condition everything worked and everything was perfect, the fact that there was shower gel,milk little muffins and so much more provided shows the attention to detail and care of the hosts amazing hospitality,she was so friendly and always available for assistance, not that we needed any but it was definitely a wonderful stay. Thank you so much may you continue to prosper.

What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Thank you Denise and team, truly amazing trip xx

The location was good, the house was jolly good, Essy was mega helpful, the facilities were fine, the grounds were delightful, the cottage next to the house was a pleasure, the gates worked well, and it was a decent place to stay. I thought it was useful value for the money. Before you arrive though you need to find a contact WhatsUp number because Roger was in Canada and the intercom at the gate didn't function. But that was a small thing. I'd be happy to go back again.

Velly was very friendly and accommodating. the housekeeper was literally a phone call away. the apartment is conveniently situated and has everything one needs for a quick getaway. the staircase is very steep though and will not be ideal for someone who has mobility challenges. we had a very comfortable stay and it was excellent value for money.

A lovely gem of a flatlet! Great, spacious little flatlet with a beautiful garden and pool, offering amazing views overlooking the city. My little doggies felt right at home with the friendly resident dogs and cat. Jos and Shaun are very welcoming and always ready to help. Perfect for the price — I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Esmaré and Barrie's place was easy to find, well worth the money and had all the amenities required for my stay (1.5 week work-cation). The hosts are friendly and the dogs are lovely.

Wonderful spot with the most gorgeous panoramic sea views – perfect spot to sit on the patio in front of the infinity pool looking for dolphins (which we saw!). Well equipped self-catering home that is pet-friendly and was the ideal accommodation for my family (and 2x dachshunds). Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended and we hope to visit again.

Aleks is an awesome host, she thinks of all the small things that we will need, that's what made our stay great, we felt very much at home. The only downside to this beautiful home is the driveway, it's very narrow and steep and a challenge to get up. Our stay was really really great, thank you Aleks...

Loved the location, very close to malls (which is walkable and safe) Security is on point ! - but they can be a little slow sometimes. The Village Cafe is so affordable ! Really enjoyed having breakfast there. Could do with a bigger dustbin in the apartment. Overall a great experience!

Shaun was a great Host! Our first day, the municipal power was out, Shaun immediately notified us and left our deep freeze full of ice so that we could keep everything cold that we needed to. The second the power came on he rushed over and set everything up for us. He politely directed us to get to the beach including great restaurant recommendations (that were really amazing). The living space was really amazing, cozy and felt like we were right at home. The kitchen had everything we could’ve possibly needed from food storage containers to fabric softener! The best part of it all his place is dog friendly and our little ankle biter loved it! The yard space we had was perfectly secure and had its own walkway gate. We were not kept on a “curfew” which was perfect. The main beach is literally a 10 min stroll from Shaun’s Place. We had horrible and gloomy weather but with the hospitality we received and lovely place we stayed at made it all worth it!

Was the PERFECT place for us to spend our one night stay in this part of Durbs, pity we couldn't stay longer! The cottage was beautiful and spotless, has everything you need and is set up to cater for any unplanned power outages in the area!

We had a great stay at Alize Beach Cottage. This pet-friendly stay was the perfect spot with our pups. The property was comfortable, and just steps from the beach. Our dogs loved the early morning beach walks to watch the sunrise with miles of unspoilt beach to ourselves. Annaleen and Howard were responsive and welcoming, providing us with all the info we needed to make the most of our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and the hosts shared all the local hangouts and hiddem gems to visit. We'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation with their pets. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Deshie and Brighton were amazingly responsive and nothing was too much effort. Accommodation felt like a hotel and home all in one. Perfectly located for beaches, shopping and airport. Safe area. Felt like home away from home.
