We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Kevin's. The whole experience - from the option to book instantly, to comms before, during and after; to our stay - was excellent. I couldn't recommend highly enough.

We had the best stay here for my sister’s bridal do! The house was spotless and Mhairi was super responsive. Really wanted a relaxed, homely space with beautiful surroundings and this home was perfect. No hesitation in recommending to family and friends in the future.

Absolute perfection- already trying to find dates to return. Beds were extremely comfortable, the place was completely spotless, property extensively spacious and the views! Oh my god, the views! Kitchen well catered for- Inc a Bosch coffee machine you should buy pods for. There is also a Webber kettle bbq outside. Hot tub was modern and just such a treat after the Glen Tarken hike. The cottage was beautiful! Location is peaceful and private. Marianne's instructions to get to the cottage were very helpful and made it easier to find the cottages. The cottages were clean, neat and tidy giving us ample of space to use. The views from the cottage are spectacular even our kitten enjoyed the views! The location was perfect for us to drive around other places in the highlands and discover local areas. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back! Thank you Marianne for the wonderful stay. An utterly beautiful cottage in a fantastic location, with an enchanting little garden. There was everything you needed and was of the highest quality. Rosemary was so helpful, before, during and after our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and she responded almost immediately. The island of Bute is amazing, peaceful, relaxing and full of wildlife. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay again if we are allowed- well worth the money. Thank you so much Rosemary

Secluded, peaceful, private property with a river at the bottom of the garden. Bright, airy, clean, well furnished accommodation. Loved the log burner. Very well attended clean hot tub. Owners were very attentive for any needs should they be required but not intrusive at all. The bedrooms were clean and well furnished with fully equipped bathrooms - upstairs and downstairs. Great towels provided. Plenty of space to have a quiet time inside or outside from the hot tub or seating area at the large table with chairs. Beautiful views of the river and fields through the French doors. Nice touch of freshly baked scones welcomed us on arrival. Unfortunately we could not spend much time enjoying the property over our 3 day stay due to our daughter’s wedding but we would definitely love to return again. A great property to spend time as a family with children as there is an outside play area for children and huge amount of board games and toys available in the house.

Me and my partner stayed here for two nights was exactly as shown in the pictures very lovely house and clean. The hot tub was stunning and all the led lights in the rooms made it feel cozy. Would highly recommend for a great get away weekend was so peaceful and Scott was quick at responding for any questions we had etc and friendly 😊

Our week at The Stables is one of the best holidays we've ever had. Laura and Ronnie we're so welcoming and the accommodation is idyllic. It was such a relaxing week in a stunning area. There were plenty of walks to do with our boys (dogs) and resident Bertie made them feel right at home. We're still missing Bertie now!! I think I asked Ronnie for local recommendations everyday and he was always so happy to help. We'd highly recommend Nick Nairn's for a meal and takeaway pizza! The Stables was impeccably clean, perfectly equipped for our stay and an all round great spot. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Well appointed two bedroom,two bathroom apt. Large living room with huge new tv. Kitchen had everything needed. She had coffee and tea for her guests. Bus outside her place directly into center city evert 12-15 minutes. My adult children frequently walked. Samantha was very responsive on messages.

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

It was a really nice place to chill. Personally, Saltcoats didn’t have a lot of what I look for in terms of dining and entertainment . The dogs loved the beaches nearby and because the caravan was so nice I was happy cooking and spending time chilling out there. I couldn’t have asked for more proactive and helpful hosts and they have made my first Airbnb experience a positive one. Thank you Gemma and Guy your place is lovely.

There was really nothing not to like, the accommodation was as described , modern , comfortable and spacious. Sleeps four adults and two kids albeit at that point lounge seating may be a bit squeezed. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the view from the balcony idyllic. Beware Wemyss Bay is a small place and you need to travel to find a selection of restaurants if that is what you want. However the chippie down the hill is excellent. The biggest test … we would definitely go back !

We had a wonderful stay at Fiona’s lodge in Wemys Bay. The lodge has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, glasses etc and Fiona even leaves a thoughtful starter goodie pack. Great TV and sound system, even a separate fridge for your wine. Plenty of comfy seating for 6 people, well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms and a spectacular view on the veranda that wraps around the lodge. Sun all day ( yes, in Scotland !) Fiona even met us to check in - great service. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

A charming cottage, easy to reach but nicely hidden in woodland and with a garden overlooking the loch. Lovely! Faye has done her best to keep it spotless and decorate it nicely. It’s a good place from where to discover the gorgeous lochs, the magnificent Highlands and their charming and romantic castles, of which Inveraray’s is definitely worth a visit! By the way, the small town also offers a classic pub with good food, a more upscale fish restaurant and a small supermarket with very friendly personel. We recomand booking here!

James’ little pad was exactly what we had envisioned for our anniversary night away. Cosy, homely clean and the hot tub was the icing on the cake! The little details didn’t go unnoticed either, bottled water, ice and fresh milk were waiting for us upon arrival. Not to mention the bottle of procecco he gifted us for our anniversary. Couldn't have been happier with the cottage or the location. The cottage was clean, well presented and had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were comfortable including the sofa bed. The kitchen was well stocked. Great to be able to log into Amazon and Disney on the TV and watch like at home. Drymen was only 20 minute walk down a quiet road with plenty of amenities. Pretty too. Just a bit further to Balmaha, Loch Lomond and Finnich Glen.

We were warmly welcomed by Cathy. She had bread and shortbread and jam ready for us. That she had made herself😋. The landlords were easily accessible when we needed them. The apartment had everything we needed and we received clear instructions on how to operate the equipment Furthermore, we had a fantastic view of Loch Long and the mountains. Beautiful garden and terrace with beautiful plants. And especially not to forget a nice one at 5 minutes walking distance to let the dog out. This is a place that we will definitely book if we visit the highlands again.😃

Had a great stay at Watermill Nook. The cabin is really nicely furnished and extremely well equipped - including a bunch of welcome treats which were gratefully received. The outside space is really well thought, private, next to a pretty stream and includes everything you might need (BBQ, firepit, seating - even walking poles!) We took our small dog and there was everything you might need for your pet. It's location is good for exploring the eastern side of Loch Lomond with the nearest villages being Balmaha (about a 30 min walk along a path which runs beside the road) and Drymen (5 min drive). Sharon was a great host, very responsive and provided loads of really useful information.

Our family had an amazing week here! We travelled with my parents and young child as well as a dog. The view over the loch is sensational and the Airbnb has everything we needed. John is a very kind and responsive host - couldn’t do enough for us. It’s remote and private with a pub nearby and another pizza restaurant open Thursday to Sunday nights. We were also very lucky with the weather which meant the most sensational views. Good base for exploring too as we were able to go to Inverary, Carrick Castle, Arkinglas House, Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and rent a boat on loch goil.
